I've ovulated this month on CD 20!! Positive OPK EWCM and every other ovulation sign! How are you getting on sweetheart?

Hi lovely ladies, hope you don’t mind if I rejoin! I was part of this group a few months ago and then stopped messaging as it was all getting a bit much for me and a lot going on at home.
However I need some advice so I’m crawling back lol.
I’m on day 31 with no period and no positive pregnancy test - technically 2 days late! I’ve taken two tests, both in the afternoon as haven’t been able to wait long enough after buying one! Although today i set a timer for 4 hours to ensure it was concentrated enough. I had some extremely light pink spotting on Thursday of last week and then absolutely nothing since.
Am I just having a shitty cycle and need to wait it out? I don’t know if I ovulated this month as also stopped using opks/temping but I’m usually fairly regular.
I had covid vaccine and covid in the same month (cycle before) and then had a period a day later than expected. Wondering if a delayed reaction to that?
Help!

CycloGoose · 28/09/2021 16:42

Hi @Slinks8113 nice to hear from you. It's a bit quiet on here now!

When I had my vaccine, it did delay my ovulation by 2 weeks so it could be that for sure. Also sometimes just have an off cycle. It doesn't mean you're out but it's super likely you ovulated later in your cycle and will either get a BFP or AF in a few days lovely.
Big love to you and really glad to hear from you and hope life improving xxx

Thanks @CycloGoose and congrats on your news too :) I was really hopeful this might be the month but after 2 negative tests, I think I’m out! Body is a little jokester!! X

Hey there lovely lady! Nice to hear from you, chances are you may have had an wonky cycle which are my special skill where you could have had an delayed ovulation from the vaccines, there's research now into how much the jabs have affected cycles because so many women have had period issues from it but they are just reporting it as an immune response to the virus has cause it, than the actual jab! I hope you get your BFP soon or AF to restart the cycle again, keep an eye on it though as if you miss 3 in a row cycles your GP can prescribe medication to shed your linking so it doesn't build up too thick from not having AF but hopefully it won't come to that 🤞🏻
lucea87 · 14/10/2021 10:39

Just popping in to see how you're all doing!

Been speaking to @CycloGoose lots but wanted to pop in and say hello.

I'm 33 weeks tomorrow but haven't had the most simple pregnancy for sure. Super grateful for my baby girl though. She's coming early because she is small (below the 3rd) so will be here in 4-5 weeks 😳😳

kaylsd · 15/10/2021 19:51

@lucea87 omg your pregnancy is flying so much! I can remember it like it was just yesterday when you and @CycloGoose realised you knew each other 🥺🤣 I bet you cannot wait to see your little one, she'll be here in no time!

Nothing to report for me my sweet, my cycles are now back normal or have been for the last one anyway 🤣 got my follow up appointment with the clinic on 27th which is most likely putting me forward for IVF secondary to MFI & PCOS which is under control :)

LeavesOffTheCactus · 22/10/2021 19:12

Hi all! Sorry I’ve been so quiet - I needed some time off. I think I was hoping for some sort of fertility explanation from all our tests and when I didn’t get one I got a bit fed up with the whole of science and nature and needed to take a step back. Stopped testing, tracking etc and have felt a lot more chilled. I generally don’t know when my period is due which makes it a lot less stressful. Still not pregnant but also less bothered (normally) - however I’ve just noticed that AF is late. I have zero symptoms and I just know in my bones that im not pregnant but it doesn’t help the glimmer of hope from coming through. I wish AF would hurry up and come and put me out of my misery to be honest. I don’t even have AF symptoms though so I guess im going to have to be patient and try not to think about it/let the hope in. I’ve been TTC for 14 months now so it’s unkind of my body to deliver late periods - but I know there’s lots of us in that boat! Hope everyone is well. Thanks @kaylsd for keeping us all in touch! Hope all the mums to be are enjoying pregnancy! Would love to hear from anyone that’s still there xx

LeavesOffTheCactus · 22/10/2021 19:12

Forgot I’ve changed my name - it’s palegreen here xx

kaylsd · 23/10/2021 11:12

Hey there lovely lady! Lovely to hear from you, I'm all for the no track life it releases such a big weight off your shoulders doesn't it? I find it does and means less pressure on my relationship to baby dance because it's the main days I enjoy it as it's a lot more natural now! I hate it when our bodies can't make their mind up with ovulation / AF I'm probably the worst person to ask for advice on how to bring AF as you guys know my track history to get into triple numbers 🤣🙈 god damn ovaries! Are you under a fertility consultant now as you've been trying more than 12 month? I have my follow up on Wednesday which I've been waiting so long for... hoping to get some clarification of which treatment path I'll be going down but I'm really relaxed about it as what will be will be, sending hugs hunny! @LeavesOffTheCactus

kaylsd · 27/10/2021 16:03

Long story cut short ladies for those who may be interested even though I know it's abit quiet!

Been referred for IVF at care Sheffield 🥺❤️

els10 · 27/10/2021 16:50

@kaylsd
How do you feel about that? Youre going to get your happy ending I know it. Have they given you a timeline for treatment to start? I'm so glad wheels are in motion, even though it may feel a bit daunting!xxx

kaylsd · 27/10/2021 17:02

Haven't a clue about timeline yet hunny, got to ring up in 10 days if we've not heard already by them for our first appointment where it's a overview of everything we've had done already at our local hospital, I've got to go for a HSG whilst waiting for our care Sheffield appointment just to rule out any fluid or issues with my tubes even though IVF will bypass my tubes :') we are feeling positive about it as it's the next step in our project baby making life! What a rollercoaster it is so far and I can imagine it's gonna get even worse for ups and downs! @els10

lucea87 · 18/11/2021 13:54

I meant to come and reply weeks ago! Great that you've been referred for ivf @kaylsd how do you feel?!

Well, my baby girl is 2 weeks old tomorrow! She was born by planned section on 5th November which I can't quite believe. She was 4 weeks early and only 3lb 15oz hence she had to be delivered early. I had placental complications which is why she was so small. We were in hospital for 8 days but home now and settling into a routine. Can't believe how fast the time has gone!!!

Omg congratulations 🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️ I'm sorry to hear you had complications but least she's here now and your settling into mummy life, how isit would you say 🙈? I'm so glad to hear from you 🥺❤️

I've had abit of a whirlwind time in TTC time I'm keeping off MN a little bit but as I saw my emails say it's the may June gang I thought right I best pop on because it's the OG gang!

As you guys last heard that me and DH referral for ivf was going to be the next step well it never goes smooth sailing for us 🥺 DH had his urology appointment as he's been having ongoing pain for about 2 years and we thought it may have been linked towards the varicocele they diagnosed him with in July which last week was his follow up well it didn't go well, basically DHs poor SAs and pain ect is not linked towards his varicocele he's got a epididymal cyst what is leaking fluid into his sperm tube and caused what they call a sperm granuloma (normally forms after vasectomys which makes DH a rare case) which is cystic fluid tissue and old debris cells from his sperm and formed like a collection which is occluding things which is likely to mean because everything is on his left side like this cyst the varicocele that mainly DH sperms working off one testicle on the right, anyhow the only way he can be pain free is for him to have a vasectomy 🥺 (this is the bummer part) but because of him TTC and waiting ivf he's been advised to postpone the vasectomy with aims he can be hopeful for IVF and come back after children if he can have children, but means he has to suffer in pain until then and his numbers could potentially get worse which means our next SA could be even worse than the last one and that was pretty terrible!

After we found this news we was upset as you can imagine, then our IVF clinic rang us rejecting our referral saying we don't meet criteria of male infertility as DH has 9 mil sperm and you need less than 5, so I just cried down phone to this random woman bout the news with DH and his urology issue and she's putting us forward for a special case to contest the rejection so had to provide evidence of results and scans ect and send them across so just waiting to hear if we are successful in contesting it all :( it's never the easy road 😞

But we are strong as always and have each other and can tackle anything as it comes xxx

kaylsd · 05/12/2021 08:08

@lucea87 @els10 @CycloGoose and anyone else from the OG gang
I know it's gone quiet and I know not many post but I couldn't not share this with you. Me and my DH a have our first ivf appointment on the 14th for baseline scans and consultant appointment on the 20th

But our Christmas miracle has happened, we are both completely in shock and I know it's only early days for us both but we may not need IVF after all 🥺🌈🤞🏻😘

TTC May/June - may the eggs be ever in your favour
els10 · 05/12/2021 08:23

Oh my goodness!!!
It may be my post partum hormones but I am crying @kaylsd 🤣
This is such wonderful news!!!!!!
Couldn't be happier for you both.
My baby girl is three weeks old now! The quickest three weeks of my life, but I also feel like she's been here forever.
I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy, you bloody deserve it after the ride you've been on already!x

kaylsd · 05/12/2021 08:47

Thank you so much lovely lady, I could not share it on here as this is where it all started many moons back 🥺 I cannot believe your little girl is 3 week old already how crazy is that! How are you feeling? How was your birth? @els10

CycloGoose · 05/12/2021 09:35

Nooooo after half an hour trying to log in. My * message didn't send.

Well hold me down and me sideways @kaylsd what a rollercoaster read I've just had. Thank you so so much for tagging me because I haven't had any notifications and just thought it had all gone cold on here. Been thinking of you all this time.

Gahhhhhhhh 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I am so incredibly delighted to hear your Christmas miracle news and have everything crossed for super plain sailing for you from here on in. Sending you all the love and happiness and just 👏👏😍😍😍👏 Best best best news. After all the turd you've had to wade through, the least you deserve is an easy and contented pregnancy. I'm. Just. WOW. Hooray 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

I'm also super sad to hear about your poor DH. What an absolute ***er. I can't believe there isn't another way for him to be pain free. It's all so unfair! I don't know much about the male anatomy but can they perform the vas on just one side?

But. Main focus is 🎉🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Merry Christmas!!! OMFG. Does this mean you're due in August!? I don't think any of my predictions were right 🤣

@els10. Congratulations on the birth of your baby girl! Happy times momma! Hope it's going well if not a bit overwhelming xxxx

Sending love to all xxxxx

Oh my goodness @kaylsd just read both your posts. What a rollercoaster. Congratulations!! I have every single part of my body crossed for you!!!!

Me & Madison are back in hospital at the moment sadly as she has awful reflux and got to a point where she wasn't keeping any food down at all so was dehydrated. Hoping we can go home today though now as she is on the mend!

kaylsd · 05/12/2021 12:46

@cyclogoose it’s enough for anyone to get motion sickness reading back on this thread what we’ve done to get to this part 🤣I couldn’t not tag you because you and many others started from the beginning with me on here and was just fitting even though it’s quiet to comment once more :’) thank you so much for your kind words! I’m still in bloody shock now 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve done 4 tests and I’m very much positive so going to relax on them now and just let things take their course :) what is meant to be will be ❤️ how’s your and your growing little bundle :’)? I haven’t a clue about DH options with the operation basically they said to him once we’ve done IVF n he’s ready for no more children to come back to him ASAP! I’m due in august👀 Adam used to curse saying I’ll take any month but august but I think under our circumstances he’s willing to take anything now 🤣 hot girl summer is off the cards I think 🧐
@lucea87 thank you so much lovely lady on your kind words! Sending lots of love over to you and your little girl Maddison hopefully she’s on the mend and can be home sooner than later reflux is the bloody devil with little ones🥺🥰❤️
