Hi *@kaylsd*, glad to hear that you are looking after yourself and enjoying the sun. Really looking forward to hearing how you get on at your appointment. Glad to hear also that your in-laws weren’t too bad although those comments could have been done without!!

I’m a bit overwhelmed if I’m being honest. I’m 5+5 and the spotting has been continuous since 4w! 99% of the time it’s one tiny spot of brown on wiping although the other day there were a few drops of red and a small clot. The doctor from out of hours said to call back if bleeding got heavy (which it has not and has been back to one spot of brown since the red) and if I have any pain (which I also don’t have). I don’t even need a liner/pad so would definitely still class it all as light/spotting but of course it’s easy to worry myself sick.

I’ve got a private scan in 7 days and my first nhs doctor appointment in 14 days so hopefully it stays the same or gets better until then. I’ve still got no other symptoms which is also worrying. It all just gets a bit much, especially when i WFH all day alone. My boyfriend is taking me out for a picnic tonight as he feels useless and thinks I need to get out the house so I’m looking forward to that!

@Mousey3 I do hope it's your snuggly little bean getting comfortable what's causing you to have all these frights with the spotting, im glad it doesn't stay consistently that's surely a good sign for you? I've heard stories from people who's been pregnant and had very little symptoms in the first trimester, I'm hoping you are also that case! Keep us posted how you get on at your scan sweetheart hoping for you to see that little bean of a heart flicker on that screen and you're welcome to share your stories from how you get on at your first appointment as a graduate on here :D always love hearing success stories 🥺❤️

Cycle day 89 new record for me! They have to by the NICE guidelines give me something to induce my cycle tomorrow as going over 90 days puts me at risk of complications with thick lining build up, luckily tomorrow will be the number day 90 😶😶🤣 my hub made a joke to me tonight saying least you save money in tampax & don't have to worry about if you wear a bikini of coming on AF I said valid point but we aren't going on holiday to wear a bikini 🤣🤣🤣 how are you sweet?

@kaylsd wow 90 days today! 😩 that must be so frustrating when you're TTC! This may be a silly question but do you feel bloated or uncomfortable after not having a period for that long? At least you and your hub are able to joke about it, you can cope with anything with laughter ❤

I'm CD13 today, so just about to enter my fertile days I think which is strange to say as I'm used to it being CD30! Just a little frustrated with my DP as he's overweight but has zero interest in doing any exercise, I love him as he is but can't help thinking his SA results would probably improve if he did! I'll just have to be happy he takes the supplements I give him I suppose 🤣

Long story cut short they took our history and how long and stuff like that BMI and height ect So treatment going forward I’ve become a metformin queen! Consultant is under impression I should be able to get my cycle back normal and ovulate potentially with just metformin (as I spontaneously ovulate so I can ovulate it’s just far and few between) and got to take that 3 times a day for 3 month eventually (gradual build up as can give a upset stomach!) and then return back to clinic in 3 month with recent USS what he’s requested today, had some more bloods taken there today & Hubs new SA results when he books in today to see our next treatment step, which he thinks ovulation induction with hyscosy test first if clear with metformin and clomid if the metformin doesn’t work for us so yeah! I feel really positive on the principle of I feel like I’m finally getting somewhere again after all this time of nothingness and there’s a chance I could get pregnant before even going back to the clinic with the metformin xxx

@kaylsd I'm so pleased you have been prescribed something and hope the Metformin works for you! Nearly August and I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Sounds like your in-laws are as precious as always. Mine are here at the moment which is why I missed your day - I'm sorry! I've been running round ragged between naps feeling so rotten.

Had my 12 wk scan and all good - just waiting for screening results.
I don't know why I don't get notifications any more. I wonder if they've been going to spam?

Sounds like a really comprehensive plan *kaylsd! So have you had any of the tests so far like your USS? You must be feeling so positive now you have such a thorough plan being put into place! You deserve it after having waited so long 💜

Metformin is the devil, no AF cd 97 🤣🤣🤣 apparently it can take a couple of week / maybe months to regulate my cycle again, my poor bowels don't know what's happened at the moment 💩 I have my next appointment in October though where they discussed me being a potential clomid passenger so that's hopeful!

Hi @kaylsd thanks for checking in. I decided to stop clomid and go all natural for July cycle. And I got my bfp same cycle. Now 6 weeks pregnant. I have read of lot of women who got bfp same cycle stopping clomid apparently that worked for me too.

Amazing news @AfroFinnRainbow2021! Congrats! That's really interesting about people getting their bfp's after stopping clomid, I hadn't heard about that.

Nothing much to report here, I'm currently in my tww, had bloods yesterday and my progesterone level confirms ovulation but just don't have a good feeling about this month 🙁 maybe it's because I'm at the 18 month trying mark.

@AfroFinnRainbow2021 how amazing is that! I've not really heard of when people stop metformin this happens but absolutely amazing news congratulations I hope you have a happy and healthy 9 month ahead of you 🥺❤️❤️

@kaylsd did they not want to give you Provera to stimulate a bleed so that you can start afresh? Though I suppose that would be tricking your body into doing it and it would be much more ideal if your body did it naturally - I don't know how you're so patient, you're amazing!

I'm 10dpo and had really good signs, my temp is nice and high, sore boobs, sore back and I got home from work and I've had quite heavy spotting on wiping. The hardest thing was telling dp as I think I'm out this month now and he was so disappointed bless him. Just feel like we're trying everything and nothing is working. Hey ho, rant over! 😔

@Bookbug92 hopefully everything turns out fine soon. Did the spotting stop? I wish you the very very best and bfp really really soon. I got mine 24months after getting married so dont lose hope.

@Bookbug92 I asked this but they wanted to see if I can have metformin to regulate without using that first hand to shed my lining but they said they will provide it in next appointment in October if nothings happened by then and will know going forward I'll need to be using that as a treatment plan before things like ovulation induction, I've officially gone over my longest cycle day record I'm in triple numbers of 101 oh my Christ 🤣🤣🤣

Funnily enough you say I've just done a massive fist pump in the air!!! I AM ON MY PERIOD it's just started bright red when I wipe and old blood at the moment but I am so happy it's been 117 days since my last flow 🥺🥺🥺🥺 I'm hoping it's the start of a new cycle and a new chance hopefully for maybe ovulation at some point

@kaylsd high fucking five! Hooray for aunt flow finally turning up after her ridiculous absence!

I'm fine as far as I know my lovely. It's not been too enjoyable yet but I can't complain! 16 weeks now which is about as long as your last cycle which shows how shit that's just been for you! I really hope this signals a change for you xxxx
