@minthumbugs 🤣 I understood. Been trying for baby no 1 since July 2020 got lucky but had miscarriage at 5 weeks in November been trying again since. Dull cramping, and mild dizzy spell has been major symptom.

@minthumbugs Well I've woken up and no spotting or blood... aaaaand I just vomited while brushing my teeth. That was my almost every morning until I was 16 weeks pregnant with my son five years ago....

BUT it could be related to the head cold. Which is still grim.

Of course I have no tests in the house and have lost my FMU opportunity anyway so IT REMAINS A MYSTERY

@minthumbugs haha I just keep saying it's all for a good cause being our home lol! I am on CD5 currently so having all the signs of AF leaving which is nice! Fingers crossed for this new cycle! X

I'm coughing and sneezing up a treat so if AF is waiting in the wings the body spasms should be shaking her down

@Veronika13 ah well I hope we ovulate today then...must be late slightly ovulators if we still haven’t had a positive OPK but the body is a mystery and sounds like we are covering ourselves anyway on the BD front this is only my first month of TTC so maybe I just need to relax a little cause I’ll be driving myself crazy if I’m like this every month. If you’ve been trying since feb, would you say the TWW is the longest two weeks of your life? That’s what I’ve heard!
@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange that’s really interesting, I didn’t realise a surge could be so short that you miss it, even if testing once a day. I’ve been using supermarket tests but they’re £11.50 ish for 7 so I think if this month isn’t our month, I’ll definitely be looking into the cheaper tests and testing twice a day to work it all out. How long are your cycles if you ovulate on CD17? Sounds like I may be about the same as you.

@Mousey3 yes tww can be tough - it starts full of hope and magic thinking of a possible pregnancy then a few days in it's just stress if it's another bfn. Then about 8 dpo it's getting really close to test, but you try to hold off as much as possible...

Then just before period you're worrying period will come (because you really don't want it to), get nervous to check every time you go to the toilet. Then trying to hold off testing. Then if it's a negative test you tell yourself maybe it's too early.

Those 5 days or so before period are the hardest I find 😀

@Mousey3 I usually ovulate CD16 or 17 and my cycles are 31 or 32 days x

@Mousey3 my cycles are 28/29 days - slightly shorter LP but still long enough in theory. (Though I’m still not pregnant so maybe not!!)

I’m taking supplements now and they lengthen my lp (and overall cycle). I stupidly stopped taking them as I didn’t like having an even longer than 2ww. I kept thinking “I must be pregnant! AF not here!” But it was just the vitamins making it all drag out.

Now that I’m expecting the longer cycles I’m ready to just suck it up and hope for the best.

Hi ladies just catching up. AF due tomorrow...feel she's on her way. still confussed a out lack of peak on opk...had a line nearly as dark as the control mid cycle but wasn't as dark.... wondering if that was it and it just didn't show up. Although the last day or two it's been quite dark too.. so confussed. do many of you get a peak/near peak on opk just before AF is due?

@MammaJ21 I took a OPK the other day at at 12dpo and it was very faint - I hear them being positive just before AF due is a good sign...

My update is........ no update! No AF (unHEARD of by noon on day due), still feeling generally crappy. Went to the village shop to grab something for lunch and they had a weird cheapy pink dye brand test I've never heard of. Grabbed it like a drug dealer, smuggled it home and POAS like a FOOL. Because I've felt so ropey I have been drinking pints and pints of water all morning and my wee is basically transparent I'm so hydrated! Obviously another BFN. So we continue to wait and obsess!

I'm currently on CD27, I think I ovulated on CD17. Yesterday afternoon I had some lotiony and pink tinged cm (barely noticeable) and today I'm noticing a more sticky cm that also has little red spots. 😬 Never had that before my period, it usually starts with light pink or brown bleeding. I'm expecting it in 3-4 days, though, not much sooner.

I had a bit of cramping yesterday and I had it today before I noticed the cm. I also have tender-ish boobs and a backache. It could all be PMS as well, I won't get too excited. But I'm also hoping this is it maybe? We're on our 6th month trying, not too long, but it would be lovely to be pregnant!

When should I start testing? I'm thinking Sunday if AF doesn't show up!

Still not the speckiest speck of blood here - short of the fact I just blew my nose and out shot a huge clump of really blood stained mucus?? My body is actually taking the right piss this week.

4.5 years ago when I found out I was pregnant with my son, I was in London for work, living in my work's flat they kept there for commuting staff. My husband and I are taking our son on his first proper trip to London (I think he thinks he will see the London Eye from our AirBnB window and get to meet the Queen? I may have to do some imagination limitation here). Keep thinking how funny it would be to get my next BFP in London too......... sigh.

I'll wait until Sunday/Monday.
If I don't get AF before ... I'm now questioning whether the pink cm and now a bit of pink when I wipe is the witch showing up 4 days sooner? 🙄

@Veronika13 sounds like the tww is as challenging as I thought. I don’t have any pregnancy tests in the house but definitely know that I won’t be able to hold off testing until AF is due.

@Rinylou ok that’s interesting to know. Wonder if I’ll end up with a longer cycle this time round with me ovulating later than usual (at least I think).

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange I’ve been looking into short LP’s recently as I think mine is on the shorter side. What brand supplements are you taking? I’m taking seven seas but not sure if they’re good or not.

@lilrosemarie hi and welcome. I’m new here too. Sounds like the pink CM could be implantation bleeding although im
not sure how common that is. Fingers crossed it leads to a BFP

It's maddening isn't it @lilrosemarie. I wish we could jut unzip ourselves and have a peek, see what's going on in there.

@Mousey3 I was taking the pregnacare ones but I’ve switched to conceive plus which I prefer as they don’t taste like marmite. Will let you know what they do to my (normally 28 day) cycle - I’m on day 26 now and I’m guessing they’ll push it back to at least 30, though I’ve heard of supplements in general making people have 60+ day cycles while the body adjusts. Has anyone had experience with supplements changing your cycle length? If so how long did it last?

Hmm so I finally got my 'peak' on an opk...the day before AF would be due.(cd 28)... so confussing. Recap to save scrolling back...I didn't get a proper peak as dark as control line mid cycle...but fairly dark...so maybe I just didn't ovulate...or maybe I missed it.Anywwy, if that potentially was it, we only dtd a couple of days before and that's the only time around that time if it was the fertile window (but doubt it was)
So maybe I haven't ov this month and am going to bow? very rare for me...usually cycles are roughly same length give or take a day or two.

I couldn't help but grab a 6 day early Clearblue when I went out after work. Double pack so saved one for tomorrow (will of course pretend to husband that its the one we've always had in the house haha) but can't even pretend that I can see anything on the one I've now taken! Not even a squinter. And I'm 16dpo! Photo attached to show you just how bloody stark white BFN I am talking here!

It also occurred to me that if pregnancy was the reason I feel so rough and nauseated yesterday and today, then my hCG would 100% be high enough to be detected by any crappy test. I'm definitely feeling shit for an unrelated reason and should probably believe the probably 10 tests I've taken now that I am not pregnant 🙃

@Rinylou argh so sorry! I get SO annoyed with my body when AF is late or I have a symptom and it turns out to be nothing fingers crossed AF shows up soon and you can go again

@minthumbugs the chances are so so slim of it being anything else...so must be af on her way. I only carried on testing with opks because I hadn't seen a peak yet...but odd how it's the day before AF due. must just be linked to that.

Thanks ladies. I'm now quite desperate for AF, so I've tempted fate by packing 2 white sundresses for the weekend as well as grabbing husband for a bit of the old BD in the hopes he'll dislodge the old bat 😂

@PaleGreenAndBrightOrange it's interesting about supplements prolonging the cycle.

I haven't heard of if. Buttt last month my period was 3 days late which never happens, so will see if cycles will become longer.

Wish we just had super short cycles - a period every week anyone? Then you've 4 opportunities in a month to get pregnant 😂
