CD15 - First Flashing Smiley

First cycle TTC DC2. Got my first flashing smiley this morning on CD15 (average 33 day cycle). Got my BFP first month of using Clearblue digital OPKs last time so feeling hopeful and excited!

Anyone else coming up for their fertile week and want to keep each other company?

Yay for your flashing smiley! I just got my static today and it's cd23 which since my MMC in January is about normal for me. I've been having 40 day cycles since but before that I was around the same as you give or take!

I'm hoping I've not missed my window as we didn't dtd this morning 🤦‍♀️ but did yesterday and will go again tonight lol.

I always aim for Dtd daily when flashing smiley is showing but with my long cycles that can get tiring 😂

I can't believe you usually do everyday from flashing smiley to ovulation! We did SMEP last time and that was tiring enough lol x

Yes @LifesAnItch it will be no1 for us although my DP has 2 DS from a previous relationship :-)

Ha well aim is very much the word - who knew it could get so tiresome!!!!

Got my first flashing smiley yesterday... I'm hoping this is our month, I have a good feeling about it 🤞🏻

We dtd every other day whilst it's still flashing as sometimes it's flashed for 6 days straight and I wouldn't be able to keep up 🤣

@Lolajames exciting times 🤩 I got my BFP with DC1 at 9DPO (sounds like I'm in Line if Duty) lol. Will def be testing early again this time, I have ZERO patience or willpower 🙈

@monkeyy97 every other day is definitely enough for me 😴 apparently it's more effective that way anyway as it gives your OHs swimmers a rest?! Have you been TTC for long?

It gets tiring 🤣 although my OH isn't complaining 🤣🤣
We have been trying since December, came off the pill beginning of November. Got pregnant in February but sadly ended in chemical. Last month I tried to take a more relaxed approach and didn't bother with opks but this month I'm back to using them as I'm impatient 🤣

I got my static smiley this morning 😃

I did a cheapy as well and it is clearly negative so that's confusing me a bit as last time I used OPKs, I got dark lines on the cheapies when I got a smiley on the CB?!

Not managed to DTD yet as DH has been unwell for a couple of days but I'm sure he'll manage to muster up the strength for the next 3 days 😂

@Lolajames is that you in the TWW now? The waiting is painful isn't it🙈

@monkeyy97 have you had your static smiley yet?

I'm feel like We've reduced our chances by not DTD during the flashing smiley days but it couldn't be helped. Hopefully we've not missed our opportunity 🤞🏼 x

Day 4 of flashing smiley! Getting impatient now 🤣 DTD last night as convinced today would be my static smiley based on my CM but clearly I was wrong 🙈.

I don't get on with the strip opks - find them too confusing so I only stick with digital from now on! Plus that's what I used in feb when I got pregnant 🤞🏻

@monkeyy97 I agree, the strips are useless but they appease my POAS addiction 😂

I had 4 days of flashing smilies before my static with DS but only had 2 this time. It's CD17 for me today.

Think I'll get DH to DTD at lunchtime today (advantages of WFH). We're (and by 'we' I mean 'I') am usually too tired at night and DS has been waking at 2.30am for the past few nights so I want to get as much sleep as possible!

Cycle 2 ttc but first month using cb opk, got my flashy smiley today on cd19 - cycles are usually 28-34 days (although think the longest I've had is 44 days) so think this is on the long side!

Don't think the OH appreciated me running in the bedroom to say I had a flashy smiley at 5:30 this morning 🤣

My app says my estimated peak day is Friday.. however I had flashing smileys 3 days earlier than I should have so I think I'm ovulating earlier this month 🤞🏻 hoping this is my month so I can stop remembering to save my wee in the morning 🤣

@gimmeavino he clearly doesn't appreciate the excitement 😂

Hopefully you don't have to wait too long for your static smiley 🤞🏼 the fun/frustration of symptom spotting is just around the corner for all of us lol x

@monkeyy97 I hear you! I have to leave my 'pee cup' on the sink each night otherwise I'd completely forget and flush away that precious FMU without a second thought 😂 x

I'm hoping for a static soon because I'm on cd20 and honestly I just want a few weeks break from dtd (which is like a chore anyway since ttc and oh doesn't do well with the pressure)...been testing/dtd since cd8 🥱😴

How are you doing? Well I think I'm 1 / 2 dpo today, not 100% sure but either way, the 2WW has officially begun!

I've got 2 FRER in the cupboard and a box of ICs arriving tomorrow so will probably test with an IC next Thursday and Friday and leave the FRER until at least Saturday when I think I'll be 10/11dpo.

When is everyone else planning on testing?

Omg I don't have that willpower. I have to make sure I don't have any in the house otherwise I use them super early as I'm impatient 🤣

@monkeyy97 my ICs just arrived about half an hour ago and I was tempted to pee on one here and then 😂 I'm kidding myself thinking I'll be able to hold off until next week 🙈

Oh my god 🤣🤣🤣 don't know why I'm laughing though as I would have thought the same lol! This is why I make sure I don't have any in the house 🤣🤣

CD18!!! 🧐 my original ovulation day was tomorrow so fingers crossed it actually is! 🙈 my OH is so tired, just want ovulation over and done with for the month lol!

I even took a pregnancy test on Tuesday as I was SO nauseous I was nearly sick on myself at work!! But nope negative 😢

I’m on CD7 and just got a flashing smiley. Does that seem early?! Cycles are between 24 and 26 days usually.
