@HHMA
it's norm after 3 losses but I got refared after 2 cause it took a year between losses to conceive and they say if it takes longer than 6 months when ur 35 and over to speak to your gp but if I was you I was ask gp for referral all they can say is no but giving ur 35 with 2 losses they should put it through for you 💚

HHMA · 11/06/2021 13:58

That’s so helpful thank you so much 😀

Babyghirl · 11/06/2021 14:10

@HHMA
How long you been trying for and long in between your 2 losses if you don't mind me asking 💚

HHMA · 11/06/2021 14:13

Hi I don’t mind at all, it is nice to talk to someone about it who understands what it’s like. We started trying in November 2020 and I had a miscarriage in February and then again this month.

justwant2beamum · 11/06/2021 22:18

Sorry @HHMA xx

Babyghirl · 12/06/2021 08:42

@HHMA
It's nice to speak to people who has went through it and understand can be a dark and lonely place as people tend not to say anything to u incase they say the wrong thing 💚

kiwi17 · 12/06/2021 09:48

I'm sorry you've joined us @HHMA it's such a horrid and sad situation. How are doing with it all at the moment? Do you have a strong support network around you? We are here for any questions or rants!

HHMA · 12/06/2021 10:53

@kiwi17 thank you very much that is so kind, my husband is being great but is much more positive and laid back about it all than I am. Sometimes it is nice to rant about how crappy and unfair it is with other women that have been through it or are going through it. I think it’s hard for people to understand how you feel if they have no experience of it themselves although they try. Anyway thank you all for being so welcoming. What a friendly and lovely group of people you all are.

kiwi17 · 12/06/2021 11:12

@HHMA definitely!! So many different experiences here too so it's very supportive :) I've had one mc myself back in march and have a 3 yr old already. It's a rough old journey but these ladies make it so much easier!

Babyghirl · 12/06/2021 12:03

lozza2206 · 12/06/2021 12:08

@HHMA hello and welcome 😘 i am sorry you find yourself in this s**t club - but I couldn't have got through any of the TTC after 2 losses without them 💗

@Babyghirl is correct - nothing is off limits from what your boob feels like to what position we should try tonight 🤣
This is a no judgement zone and we have all experienced jealously, anger, anxiety, sadness and happiness!
We will all get our rainbow babies 🌈💓

Miscarriage39 · 12/06/2021 22:16

Hi HHMA I’m sorry you are going g through this horrible journey, but welcome to thread. I have two children, but had a MMC that was picked up at my 12 week scan in March.

I was really struggling emotionally yesterday, so DH suggested I call the doctor and just discuss what is going on. When I got through to reception it was the normal story of only having appointment for medical emergencies, and I burst into tears when asked to describe my symptoms. DH took over, and miraculously she agreed to put me on the call list! When Dr called she insisted it sounds like I am pregnant, which was again pretty upsetting as I have had consistently negative tests. When I explained this, she suggested I test again next week, then said it could be an infection. She checked the swab results from the other week and ruled that out. In the end she admitted that she didn’t actually have any ideas of what else could be causing my period to go AWOL, but offered me antidepressants (which I declined) and said she’ll call back next week. If I still have not had a period by then, she’ll do bloods and repeat some of the swabs, and if they’re all okay she’ll refer me for a scan.

Sorry to be the negative link here ladies!

HHMA · 12/06/2021 22:48

@Miscarriage39 I am so sorry that you are having a tough time at the moment and I really do hope they get to the bottom of it all for you! It is so frustrating when you just need to know what is going on and no one seems to be able to help. So lovely that your DH stepped in and managed to get a dr to speak to you. Hopefully better days will come for you and us all 🤞

Soexciting · 13/06/2021 08:10

Joining if that is ok.

I had a MMC in May at 10 weeks which I miscarried naturally a week later. I think had my first dose of my Pfizer vaccine a few days later.

I am now on day 30 so three days late. Could be the vaccine or the MC. We have been trying since I got ECWM so I was hoping to be pregnant but the tests are all negative despite me having nausea every morning, sore boobs, forgetfulness the lot.

I know that when AF hits I am going to be devastated so I hope it is not during my birthday day out on Monday.

I feel so sad about everything. I have a DD who is 18 months today and feel so blessed but the MC is a hole I don't think can be filled by anything other than a new baby. I feel like I have been permanently changed by this and everyone else including my husband gets to carry on normally whilst I am walking around with this massive pain and this all consuming obsession with trying to get pregnant again.

Babyghirl · 13/06/2021 11:00

@soexciting
Sorry your joining us but glad u found us for support, so sorry bot your loss its an awful thing to go through I have had 4 miscarriages trying for my first baby and my period has been different after each of them last loss in February took 43 day for my period to come so could just be your body is a bit all over the place and can take a while to get back to normal, or fingers crossed you get your bfp and you just ovulated abit l8r, but not everyone ovulates after a miscarriage either how long after your loss did it take to get a nagitive test 💚

Soexciting · 13/06/2021 11:39

@Babyghirl thanks for your message. I have really related to lots of your messages especially about not wanting to breath anymore at times. I am glad you are in a better place now Flowers

I know it sounds stupid after a miscarriage but I think my body is very efficient at these things. My DD was born after 4 hours of labour and ONE push. I only bled for 2 weeks postpartum and had my periods back straight away.
With the MC I woke up to go to the loo in the night passed a massive clot, got in the bath had a couple of paracetamol and the passed the sac. It was all over in two hours or so and I had period like bleeding for maybe 5 days. I am incredibly thankful for this as I know a lot of women have it much harder and it made a horrible thing a bit more bearable.
I had a negative test within 20 days of the MC and started trying again about 2 weeks after the MC. I was waiting for MRI results since they saw a mass in my womb but they say it's nothing to worry about so I cracked on with trying.

It feels weird that a MMC would affect my cycles when a full term pregnancy basically didn't...

But they also diagnosed me with adenomyosis during the MRI which might affect my cycle so it's just a mystery.

Fingers crossed that I ovulated late and am having a super quick rainbow.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 13/06/2021 14:53

Hi ladies how are we all doing??? Sorry it's been a while loads going on and I feel like iam running at 100mph atm... so today got my positive ovulation test since my ectopic in April I didn't do them in may didn't see the point... I am kinda gutted at I cannot have any unprotected sex until my tube test in say under 4 weeks time!!! Do you think I should get a pill to delay periods or do you think I should be ok?? Period means no test can be carried out and another 2 month wait xxx

Babyghirl · 13/06/2021 15:45

@sweetbabydust1989
When is ur tube test for if its under 4 weeks your period just be here and gone by then as your period should be here in abot 14 to 15 days if you got the positive lh test 💚
@Soexciting
I have learned r bodys r strange things with my first loss I took my period 18 days after it 2nd and 3rd at the right time and 4th was longer if you where getting a positive test up until 20 days after the loss it can take up to two weeks after that for ovulation to occur and then 14/16 days after that for your period to show what date in May did you start to loss baby 💚

Sweetbabydust1989 · 13/06/2021 15:52

@Babyghirl my tube test is on the 8th July so not long I am kinda hoping my period hurry's up and goes lol then I will most likely ovulate again a week after the test so wasn't sure if I am allowed to try or wether I have to wait a month never had one before I am bracing myself for it to be be painful I cannot bare the speculum it actually makes me gag and my body then starts trying to reject it I had one smear were I actually pushed the thing out and it hit the nurse 🙈😂 xx

Babyghirl · 13/06/2021 16:09

@sweetbabydust1989
I can just imagine the nurses face 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you should be OK for the test to go ahead your period should be here and gone by then and hopefully it's ur lucky month and u catch I have heard people catching after them can't see why nt you could nt try tbh it's just a dye they using 💚

Soexciting · 13/06/2021 18:25

@Sweetbabydust1989 I hope you can get your period out of the way so that you can have your dye test. I don't think I would be doing anything to mess with my cycles at the moment.

@babyghirl you are right I think I just thought since I had some CM I was ovulating but actually I wasn't temping and my tests were still visible then.
I had my miscarriage on 15th May so not long ago at all. Thinking about it my maths is all over the shop.

I am so sorry for your losses. I feel so upset after one I don't think I could handle multiple ones.

Sweetbabydust1989 · 13/06/2021 20:13

@Soexciting thanks hun yeah sex is pretty much nonexistent atm we don't want to chance anything going wrong it's mad I have been doing castor oil packs for a few weeks and I usually get horrible ovulation pains a week before and this cycle I have had nothing no pains no cramps I feel really good.. I am petrified my tubes are really damage if so we might consider ivf but I would have to pay xx

kiwi17 · 13/06/2021 20:31

Welcome to the new ladies 😊🌷 I am getting frustrated over here.. started spotting last sat, thought af was on her way, spotted til weds when it kicked in properly for a few hours then literally tailed off to nothing on Friday and then today bam spotting again!! I'm so fed up and have no idea why this is happening but I'm guessing it's not a good thing as is not normal for me and this is after 3 normal cycles after the mc so can't be that. Anyway grrrrr!! Hope everyone else is doing ok.

justwant2beamum · 13/06/2021 21:24

@kiwi17 have you tried a test? I'm 8dpo and I don't even think I ovulated this month, so Expecting AF this week. It's now taken us longer this time post mc than to conceieve the first time which I just find so hard to come to terms with and feels so awful. We went for bbq tonight at OHs DM and DPs and I've ended up drunk so even if there was any tiny chance this month It'll be gone now
