@Babyghirl that looks dreamy 😍 I'm glad it's cleared your head. I've been over at the parents in law today with my lg and it was nice just to sit in the sunshine in their garden. Tbh @Miscarriage39 I'm feeling a bit better thanks. It helps that I didn't spot for 6 days before af this month and can just start counting cd1 again. Was kind of not wanting two birthdays in Feb anyway so I guess if any cycle wasn't going to work this would have been the one I would have been ok ish with if I'm trying to be positive about it! Going to be tricky though as we've had a family holiday planned for May (was 2020, then postponed to 2021 and now 2022) which is now going to be tricky in terms of either possibly having a tiny baby or being v pg so not sure whether to pause after the next cycle for a couple of months or carry on anyway and deal with it if it's an issue. Argh I hate trying to plan life around such a massive unknown - hate that ttc becomes so all consuming 😖 good luck with your test tomorrow - I know what you mean you need answers!

Annny27 · 06/06/2021 21:03

Glad you had a walk and cleared your head @babyghirl

@kiwi17 yeah its definitely like life is on hold isnt it either thinking oh I cant do that if we have a baby or if I am pregnant when we should just plan things and then cancel them if we need to

@miscarriage39 that's so frustrating- did you ovulate later or something?

OP posts:
Babyghirl · 06/06/2021 21:16

@kiwi17
Go for it won't be all bad If yous get to holiday as a family of 4 or be very pregnant and have a relaxing holiday before the new baby comes along 💚

ButtercupBlue · 07/06/2021 09:32

I know just what you mean @kiwi17 We're engaged and every time we talk about our wedding plans it's hard not to think 'will I be pregnant then?' plus I'm bridesmaid for my sister next spring so I'm thinking will I be heavily pregnant or have a baby by then? It probably sounds terrible but I've always envied those women who can plan a pregnancy and have it happen when and how they expect it to or get pregnant and don't even realise it until a good few weeks in. For me the 2ww and the first three of months of pregnancy always go at a snail's pace waiting for something to go wrong.

I finally got my letter through from the recurrent miscarriage clinic and it's an absolute joke. The sample from my most recent loss was inconclusive as apparently it was mostly my tissue and not baby. I was absolutely heartbroken when I read it. We've waited over 6 months and I've had numerous blood tests to be told it's been a total waste of time. The only other thing the letter mentions is that my 'sticky blood' test was negative. It doesn't mention any of the other blood tests I had or the ultrasound scan or my PCOS or suggest anything at all. I don't even have a follow up appointment. I've requested my GP refer me to Professor Quenby at Coventry as I've read some positive things about the clinic there. It's so bad that it's such a postcode lottery though.

In the meantime I'm on CD17. According to my app I ovulated over the weekend but this is only my first proper cycle off the mini pill so may not be accurate. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but next weekend would have been the due date of the baby we lost in November so it's hard.

Babyghirl · 07/06/2021 10:07

Well CD1 for me today lol 29 days bang on woke up to it which is strange cause mine norm starts in the evenings 💚

Babyghirl · 07/06/2021 11:20

@ButtercupBlue
Sorry you never got any answers from the last loss 💚 only thing that came up in my bloods from the rmc was that my vitamin d is really low so on supplements to bring it up they have said I will get progesterone from my nxt bfp so hoping that helps 💚

27DONFIN · 07/06/2021 12:22

@Babyghirl how are you feeling today? Iv been there many times I sit and cry to the dog he always give me a cuddle when I cry makes me feel better.

@Annny27 no sign of AF? I know we were around the same tome mines has been and gone. Back trying this month x

Thank you. It's so hard isn't it? I know that there aren't always answers but I think I was expecting a plan or some suggestions at least!

I've had testing before back when I was with my previous partner and I'd had 3 losses and that showed low vitamin D and PCOS but I'm now on supplements for the vitamin D and trying to lose weight to help the PCOS (1 stone down, 1 to go).

No one has ever suggested progesterone to me and I'm not sure whether to request or not. Only one of my miscarriages has started with spotting/ bleeding, the other four have all been MMC found on scan so I don't know if it would even help.

Do you mind me asking what dose of vitamin D you're taking?

@27donfin because of my chemical last month my ovulation was delayed so I am only about 8/9dpo right now so not due for another week!

@babyghirl sorry she arrived:( i hate waking up to the cramps!

@buttercupblue yeah I think if low progesterone is an impact then you bleed before whereas mine was still holding on weeks past the baby died so much

@stardust17 welcome back- so are you bleeding at 6+5?

Thanks ladies it's just so rubbish not being able to plan anything - a wedding must be even harder. I proper envy people that 'just don't realise' they're pregnant until they're like 8 weeks I don't get how that even happens! @Annny27 I didn't know that about spotting? So do they reckon if you spotted before the mc it's low progesterone? I started spotting at 10 weeks but the baby only measured 7w6d so guessing it had gone a while before I spotted..? I'm really starting to worry that there might be an issue with one of us and dh randomly burst out last night that he doesn't want to do ivf but wants 3 kids and doesn't want a massive gap between them?! So now I'm feeling even worse - and trying to not feel guilty because I already have my little girl and feel like maybe I just give up and be grateful for what I have.. Argh. Sorry! Anyway @StarDust17 I'm sorry you're going through the mc again it's just horrid. Hugs. Sorry @Babyghirl that af got you too 👎

Hello all 💕💕💕 my lovely girls who helped me through every anxious moment and helped with every intimate detail xoxo

So today I had my 12 week scan 😬 there was my good bubba jumping around and heart beating away. I was in absolute bits the last few days with worry... I was having racing thoughts and just couldn't keep the negative away. It went amazing and I am so happy!

There's some newbies on here and I'm rubbish at keeping up to date but for those of you looking for any advice, I had 2 miscarriages - one at 6 weeks and one at 12 weeks which I had surgery for. If you would like to pick my brain about anything let me know cause I know every gory detail from hours of research 🤣

Girls how are you all doing?? 💕💕💕

lozza2206 · 08/06/2021 11:15

@kiwi17 @ButtercupBlue thank you 💕

@Babyghirl you will get your rainbow 🌈 what's the update with you sugar... any news on the appointments?

@27DONFIN thank you! Hopefully I can calm down a bit! What's going on with you xxx

Annny27 · 08/06/2021 11:32

Morning ladies :) fairly sure my pre AF spotting is starting so that's me out for this month - not surprised as ovulated from the "bad" ovary

@babyghirl it's nice to have a pain free period isnt it! Catches you by surprise though 😂😂

@lozza2206 amazing news lovely! Glad to hear everything is well for baby!

@27donfin do you have any tests or appointments coming up?

@kiwi17 yeah I definitely think it's worth asking GP for a progesterone/day 21 hormone test so you can assess progesterone level. Mine was optimal but obviously it can fixate by month so perhaps some months I have issues - might ask for another one this month (next cycle) so that they have two months to look at

@stardust17 it really does suck but I know what you mean, they will take you seriously now after 3!

27DONFIN · 08/06/2021 11:42

@Annny27 @lozza2206 no appointments as yet was 4 weeks ago I was referred to the fertility unit at my local hospital but after speaking to them and them saying Iv been vetted as a routine appointment it’s going to be months before I seen due to them catching up on last years routines. I might phone again in another 4 weeks. I’m on the short notice cancellation list but I’m sure most are happy to go on that. X

Babyghirl · 08/06/2021 12:00

Sorry your spotting has started Annny27.

So glad you scan went well lozza2206.

AF is now 5 days late but tests are negative. My DH thinks my cycle has been disrupted by the COVID vaccines. So not helpful!

@miscarriage39
