Hey ladies! Just catching up all the messages over the past few days! Massive hugs to all who have a shit time and feeling low, honestly can’t imagine how heart breaking it is!! Hopefully the Gp referrals will happen quickly!! 🥰🥰

Nothing much to report my end, just finished my break through bleed, don’t think I ovulated between coming off the pill and bleeding as I just got flashing smileys! Gonna start using OvuSense tonight but I’m so nervous!! Is anyone else using theirs? I’m scared that it will show I’m not ovulating as I didn’t prior to break thru bleed! Xx

@Springflower3 Don't be too scared, I think it is likely you will ovulate on your next cycle, but if you don't then having a record will be important if you ever need to speak with a doctor about it. Its always a bit of a bumpy ride when we first come off the pill, hopefully the road will smooth out for you soon

Aww @Kay00 thank you so much!!! I’ve 2 kids from a previous relationship so at some stage I was working ok 🤣🤣 I’m just scared as now I am a bit older that’s things will be more difficult! my DP has no kids (although his ex had several miscarriages god love her) so I’m assuming he is grand in that respect!

I have been off the pill 11 months, but properly trying about 9 months, and I think I have only ovulated 6 times in that 11 months. I'm 35, nearly 36, so my next step is the fertility clinic .

@Kay00 will this be your first?? Xx

@Springflower3 yes, my first, and my partners first. And we haven't had even a sniff of a second line from the 6 ovulation's I have had.

In our CCG (Devon) you have to have been trying a year before fertility referral, or trying 6 months if aged 36 and over, so I have self referred privately to the fertility clinic. I'm hoping nothing is wrong of course, but my ovulations are sketchy at best and it would be good to know if my OH has any issues too!

Awww @Kay00 I really really really hope that either nothing is wrong and you guys have a healthy baby or if there is something, it is easily fixed! Have you just used opk’s? This TTc is like a full time job sometimes! I couldn’t cope with the dehydrating for OPK I just had a headache! I’m really hoping the ovesense is easy to use....
my DP was previously told he produces above average amount of sperm 😳 but that this can affect the quality apparently (this was me googling) he wasn’t actually told that the quality was poor but ye know us women we other think 🤣🤣 xx

@Juno231 how did your laparoscopy go? It was today wasn’t it?

@Springflower3 from what I have read sperm quality can really change from month to month, even more so from year to year, so often a guy will be asked to repeat a sperm analysis 3 months after the first to get a better picture.

I am 2 hours into be 'clear liquids only' diet before my hospital procedure tomorrow and i'm already STARVING!! haha!! this is going to be absolute torture!

After 44 days since stopping Cerazette, I'm finally having some sort of withdrawal bleed. Embarrassingly overjoyed. 😆

Oh I wasn’t aware of that? I think he was checked every 3 months ( they went through several rounds of ivf) but I could be wrong! I suppose we all try to cling to positives don’t we 🙈

@chillysT oh I hope your okay I'm sending you so much love ❤️ TTC is bloody hard. I so hope it's good news but if its not we are here. When I came on the other day I was straight on here as I knew everyone understood❤️
I think DH is nervous about his results. Seeing as he has dc I'm sure it will be fine. I know you never know so he seems a bit certain it's him for some reason.
Egg chair is great. I'm in it right now 🤣 my dog has taken a liking to it 😁

@springflowers3 good luck. Hopefully it is just where you are first coming off the pill and it will settle down into normal cycles soon. The pill totally messes with our bodies.

@Lovebug06 I’m not sure i enjoyed the whole not tracking tbh! I’m pretty sure ovulation has been and gone over the weekend will BD tonight just incase but my cm is back to creamy so I’m guessing my flood of watery cm over the weekend was the sign. I could definitely drop the temping but i may retreat to OPKs! Glad your enjoying the egg chair, how long have you got to wait until OH SA results?

@Lovebug06 Well, Tuesday PM and still no sign of AF yet. Still the usual cramping period style, and I did not want to wake up at all this morning so my fatigue is still there too! I took a PT this morning to make sure and it was a BFN, which I totally expected but just wanted to rule that out. So now it’s just a waiting game of when AF will show. Today is CD30 so there’s still a fair few days yet for her to be classed as ‘regular’ so I’m not too downhearted. Oh bless him! It’s totally natural to be nervous so I can only sympathise with how he may be feeling. We almost forget that it affects them quite hard too sometimes I think! I hope you get the answers you want. 😊 Ha, sounds like a typical pooch attitude. Mine loves a fluffy blanket, she claims every bloody one! Haha.

@feliznavidad2 Oh yay, we were almost the same amount of time with our waits. It’s such a weird feeling waiting for that first one knowing that in reality, soon you won’t want AF to show after that! It’s all such a confusing mix of emotions!

@Cams50 I'm still spotting. It keeps stop starting and is still pretty light at the moment but I've had a couple of cycles now where it doesn't turn into AF for a week..I'll be 14dpo next Tuesday so I'm guessing itll start properly between Sunday and Tues. So frustrating 😪

@ChinChilly I've been looking at the NICE guidelines about subclinical hypothyroidism and it says if the patient is trying to conceive with this, they should be referred to an endocrinologist. I'm going to push my doctor to do this after my next bloods in 2 months time if it's a similar result. Might be worth you looking at if you think it could be affecting you.

@FlyingGiraffe I have tried to push my GP they’re not having any of it, she said my TSH is normal for me and primary care wouldn’t treat it because it’s in the normal bracket. She said they don’t routinely test pregnant women for TSH so it shouldn’t have a massive effect.

10dpo today and my temp dropped this morning (chart attached just for how much it was trolling me) and I've been having cramps the last few days, so I'm in one of my miserable moods and no doubt will be reaching for the chocolate later! Hope everyone is doing ok.

Hey All, I'm new here and was wondering if I can jump in?
Me and my partner decided to try for out 1st in December 2020.
I came off my pill (microgynon) on the 1st Jan and had my withdrawal bleed as normal. I then had my first period 40days later. I had read it could take 3 months for everything to get back into sync so was happy with this. However, now nothing. I am now 74 days in to my cycle and no sign. I have done pregnancy tests and all negative, I've had blood tests and they have come back with 'no action needed'.... not sure what's meant by that at all.

I've been having a read through all your messages and its just reassuring that I'm not the only one who has experienced this. I'm 30 but feel like I've left it too late to welcome children into our lives

Well I'm out.
AF has arrived.
Not too shabby though tbh, came off the pill on the 28th March, didn't have a withdrawal bleed.
However, definitely ovulated & Lutual Phase has been bang on 14 days.

Secretly happy that I wasn't successful as DP has two children who's birthdays are either side of Christmas.

Raise a glass of wine tonight for a proper calculated month of TTC!

Spotting from post ovulation to period, pink, brown and red. Then a few days with nothing before period starts. Really bad pms, fatigue, nausea. I've been to GP and I have had bloods, scan on ovaries and uterus, smear and now due a colposcopy but due to focus my appointment was cancelled and have just been left on a waiting list for months. I'm convinced that this is hormonal but GP won't do bloods on hormones before colposcopy, even when I rang to push for it. They said just wait for colposcopy first. Stopped pill last August so don't think it's that. Trying to conceive for 8 months and I don't think it's a good thing for that either. Long story short, I'm sick of bleeding for 2 weeks of the month and feeling rubbish. Anyone experience anything similar ? Anything that would help get my GP on board ? Thanks !!!

@Stresshead129 We are almost in the same boat. Came off the patch in February 2021, had my withdrawal bleed and then my proper AF 6 weeks later after a 42 day wait. I’m now on CD31 and no sign of her yet, FF thinks it’s expected today so holding out for tonight. Hoping it’s not a long wait. Only positive is I need have a positive OPK on CD15, so at least I know I’ve ovulated. But I’m hoping this one won’t be a long wait even though I’ve been cramping for about 5 days now.

You’re younger than I am, so 30 is still a relatively young age to conceive. I know of people a lot older than I am too that have managed to fall pregnant, so keep your hopes high.

Are you having any symptoms or any cramping etc?
