The girls have swapped their checked shirts for pastel dresses and it’s time to sit back and relax after a stressful few weeks (months…years!!)

When I have my first cycle I had very strong opks for over a week and then finally a positive. As it can be so different for everyone best you can do is keep testing and the other thing that could help is taking your temperature as you can surge and not ovulate temperature will confirm ovulation

I started bleeding at 10dpo then got a positive and at 15dpo yesterday it was still very faint. I'm holding now to test in a bit to see if there is any change today (also been ill - tmi but toilet which apparently is a sign as started at the same time as the bleeding)

I was thinking of getting the ovesense? It’s down to 80 quid atm but I’m gonna try and hold out for my period coming... I feel it going in to too serious when I am just at the start of the journey and my body is up the left xx

@Springflower3 I've had multiple early losses but no ectopic, my gut is that this is just an early loss but with everything else would rather get checked.

I've not see that but I take my temperature every morning and that tracks it quite well for me, the thermometer was only £5 but if you feel it will help or take away stress it would be worth it :)

@Springflower3 I have ovusense and love it. Takes the stress out of temping as I never wake at the same time. I got it as waited 2.5 months since stopping pill to first period and I wanted to know what was going on with my cycle - gives me piece of mind each month to see the higher LP temps and know I am ovulating. Expensive, but worth it if temping might stress you out each morning..

@abi555 if the lines on opk aren’t getting any darker by the weekend I think I will bite the bullet.... I am holding some hope that I will ovulate soon and catch first time 🤣🤣🤣 even though the chances are completely against me!! Xx

@abi555 I bought the ovesense 🙈🙈 it says it will be here in 2 days so hopefully I can get using it before my surge and track things a little better! I’m guessing I don’t need opk if using it?

@Springflower3 haha, love your willpower - it's just like mine!
I used OPK's in addition to ovusense for the first few months just as I was getting used to my cycle, but have now ditched them as can reliably tell when ovulation is coming and I couldn't be faffed with peeing all over my hands repeatedly haha! It's really nice to know you have ovulated, and once you have used ovusense for a few cycles it will very reliably predict when your ovulation day is.... the past two months has got mine bang on, so you can plan fertile week accordingly. Only works this well if your cycle is regular, but I find all the extra info reassuring!
I started using it before my first AF off pill had arrived and realised pretty quickly that I was actually in my luteal phase and so AF wouldn't be long... which helped to destress me quite a lot!
There is also an ovusense facebook group called 'ovusense users group' which is really useful which I think @MissC07 introduced me too and you can ask to join... lots of helpful tips and advice on charts!

I’m very excited to get going now!!! I know this sounds stupid but do you just pop it in when your going to sleep?? My DP is gonna think I’ve lost the plot!! I will have to nip to the toilet and hope he doesn’t feel frisky in the middle of the night 🤣🤣🤣

@Springflower3 Yep, just pop it up before getting into bed, it's very simple to insert and you can't really feel it once in. I hid it from my DH for a while as well before he found it and we had a hilarious conversation. It's shaped like a sperm so he's taken to asking me how my sperm is the days when I'm wearing it haha!

And no to the amazon order! I obviously have a delivery man who fancies a snooze... they advised it would arrive my 1pm and still nothing. I am going slowly insaaaaane!

I’ve had my peak!! Need to DTD but hubby isn’t home from work until 11pm so it will be a late one tonight!

@abi555 flipping typical!! Hopefully he won’t keep you waiting to much longer! I would have drove to a local chemist.... I’m too impatient!!

Well that’s me disheartened! Came home from work, tested again and my LH is now 0.14 after being 0.28 this morning 😕

@Springflower3 I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry too much. My OPK's are darkest at 11am and get lighter throughout the day. I highly recommend temping so you know whether to bother with OPK's or not.

Thanks @MissC07 I’ve actually just today purchased the ovesense cause I think it will be easier? I am hoping it is easier 🤣🤣
I’m actually sick of dehydrating myself just to take an opk! I drink a lot during the day....and if I don’t I get headaches! How do people get darker lines in the evenings after drinking all day!!

I don't even know what's going on in my house, I work shifts so one week 6am-2pm then the next 2pm-10pm so on 2-10 we very rarely have sex, just sneak an episode of something in and then go sleep.. but last week he said he doesn't want to make it the normal to not be DTD on 2-10 so we had sex, once hahaha then was supposed to have sex last night but he started sneezing so didn't feel up to it 😂 someone find my sex life please It seems to have got lost 😂

@CaptainGT pre baby we would usually wake up earlier and do it in the morning as was too tired at night 😂

So an update from me... waited all day and amazon delivery FINALLY turned up about an hour ago. Could have kicked myself when opened the packet as realised I'd bought a first response rapid test rather than a FRER and packet said not to use prior to missed period or it might not show up.

Decided to test anyway and I think it's fairly safe to say its a BFP!!

Feels so unreal! Think me and OH are in a little bit of shock. Also slightly nervous about the spotting I've had on and off all day. AF due on friday according to FF, so we have decided to celebrate properly at the weekend when I'm officially late!

Fingers crossed for a sticky bean! And thank you so much for all your support on here ladies, you are all amazing
