I'm not tagging our bfp ladies right now (would you want to be tagged?! I've no idea) but hope they keep an eye on us and chip in often with wisdom and support ❤️

@Carol1980 worth keeping an eye on your cycles (which you do anyway) but probably nothing to worry about. Lots of women report vitamins or Pregnacare changing their cycles tho never have for me. Glad you are feeling ok x

@inkworks273 best of luck and don't worry - you won't have missed your window but also as i said to @Carol1980 ovulation pain can be a before, during or after ovulation.

DP had his vaccination this morning. I may get invited tomorrow as we are same age but different surgeries. Excited and pleased that I can get it before starting IVF again.

@Janefx40 great news about your vaccine- and for your DH too.
@Carol1980 it may be a random one off- I tend to get a short cycle once or twice a year, going from a pretty regular 31 days down to 26 or 27. I've always put it down to stress or just one of those things and it always went back to normal length the following cycle. Glad you and DH raring to go for next cycle already!

@Makingnumber2 I never thought I'd be so happy about having the 'gushing' feeling of my period first thing in the morning !!
I didn't get it at all last month and honestly thought that maybe I was peri menopausal !!
It's almost like my normal period this morning and I was honestly so relieved ❤️
Obviously gutted we aren't pregnant but I'll take a win either way x

@Carol1980 glad you are enjoying your period !! I actually do know what you mean. Sometimes I feel quite proud of my body for doing what it is meant to again !!

I got my flashing smiley OPK this morning so just one day later than normal. I am so melodramatic!! I'd already written this cycle off and was imaging a massive long wait for my period.

Quick moral question. My DP is totally knocked out after his vaccination. He's not been out of bed all day (very out of character).

Is it wrong to ask him to wank in a cup because I got my flashing smiley face today? What is the etiquette around this? What would you do? Lemsip and a sample pot?

@Janefx40 😂 I'd ask/just slide the pot in at a distance. Orgasms help release feel good chemicals - it'll make him feel better.

Bitheby im sorry to hear you've had a bit of a shock after positive results so far. I hope you can go ahead but ultimately hope you get your bfp this cycle so you don't need to think about it ❤️🤞

Just popped in to say hello really. Nothing to report. We'll SI this cycle as hubby wants to keep going. But my main focus will be weight loss. I still haven't booked a GP appointment. I'm going to do it tomorrow and hope it's a week or so away as might be ready for the conversation by then... Probably not though.

Hope you're all okay and anyone who hasn't posted in a whole is managing alright. Also hope our lovely graduates are all doing well of they're lurking after us 🥰

I hope this is your sticky bean ❤️🥰 understandable you are feeling anxious and I’m the worst for this too and I’ve never even been pregnant so I can’t imagine what I’ll be like if I ever get pregnant one day! Try to do something relaxing, listening to your fav music or reading a book ❤️ Keep us updated.

@Carol1980 it's great you're focusing on the positives and you're right that although it is shit she showed up, it is a sign all is running in there as it should be.

@Janefx40 I agree with MrsK- SI waits for no man- not even a poorly, vaccinated one. But then again I am a bit of a slave driver on the SI front grin my poor DH! Hope he manages to do it and hope he's feeling lots better v soon.

@MrsKin90 I am so admiring of your resilience- it's great you're going to book the GP appointment in. I hope they are kind, supportive and encouraging of everything you discuss with them.

@primrosechill how is being PUPO feeling? Hope you're doing well smile

@Lori23TTC thank you- I hope it's a sticky one too! Time will tell I guess. Music is such a good idea- I always feel relaxed when I'm singing along in the car because I'm not focusing on any other thoughts. How are you getting on?

Had some cramping today- on and off but nothing too major. A random tightening of stomach with some pain earlier for 20seconds but am hoping it was wind?!

Also just in case anyone was wondering I asked Mumsnet to remove an earlier post because I had a long whinge at the end of it which in hindsight I realised made me seem really ungrateful and also insensitive in light of hard news a number of you on here have had recently. I think Lori saw the post but hopefully wasn't offended by it. If anyone wants to look at posts of cheapie test lines and read my anxious whinges then they'll be on the SI Grad thread for now. Will still be on here though too to keep up with everyone else's news xxx

@MrsKin90 thanks for checking in on me. I’m doing ok thank you. Just taken some time away to try look after myself a bit better, I’ve been doing ok and trying my best to lose weight gradually. We also have our wedding coming up in May so focus has temporarily shifted to that for now. We are still SI’ing and using the clear blue fertility monitor has helped with not obsessively urinating on sticks. I think I’ve accepted that for the next few months my focus needs to be the wedding and the weight loss. Obviously if I fall pregnant I’d be delighted but I can’t pour all of my energy in all 3 at once and it was making me quite poorly. Anyway I hope you are ok too and if you want a weight loss buddy the offer is there, feel free to PM me!

I haven’t read through the thread in weeks but just glancing at it I want to say @primrosechill I am so pleased everything has gone smoothly with IVF, you’re doing so amazing and making me feel positive about IVF should that be the route we have to take next. I hope your 2WW flies by & so excited for you

I’m good thank you! I’m 6dpo so let’s see. Blood test at ivf next week and I’m awaiting to hear back this week on whether round one (if needed) will be nhs funded.
I’m just waiting and seeing, letting all of this now take a back seat over me getting healthy both mentally and physically. Still getting extremely sharp head pains, which could be linked to mmr. I’m just hoping they go soon.

@Oilyoilyoilgob aww that’s so lovely thank you 🥰 I’m ok everything has hit me the last few weeks.. things just keep happening so I’m hoping things start to settle down soon and nothing else goes wrong! I’m trying not to fall apart to much, spotting today so that’s me out I expect I’ll properly start tomorrow. I didn’t think I would this month as been so much going on and been stressed out so it’s not a surprise... hoping May will be a better cycle. I also have a appointment with the fertility clinic this month to talk about next steps and hopefully IVF. The weather has been lovely - does make things that little bit better 🥰 I hope you are well, dpo6 eekk another week and you could be sharing a bfp, keeping everything crossed!
I hope you get the news you want re the ivf funding - I think everyone should get at least one surely that’s fair! My doctor told me we might not be eligible for funding as there is nothing wrong with me or partner but I argued that ED/performance anxiety in my eyes is still a fertility issue so we shall see.
I’m in a similar space to you I’m trying my best to sort myself out mentally too as it’s all completely taken over me month after month and I can’t cope anymore tbh so working on that now!
I’m sorry to hear you are still getting the sharp pains - that’s not fun I really hope they go soon!

@Lori23TTC I’m sorry everything has felt so overwhelming for you. I think it sounds like you made a great decision to prioritise your mental health this month. I also agree that everyone should get at least one IVF shot on NHS- if not two tbh. I hope your appointment goes well and makes you feel positive about future steps available to you.

@Lori23TTC aw no, I’m so sorry to hear things have been happening and causing stress. I do hope you’re ok and keep looking after yourself and spoiling yourself.
That’s so good you’re taking a mental step back in a way. I agree and that’s what I’ve done. I’ve done all the ‘proper’ stuff like opks, SI etc but I’m actually trying to switch off, not symptom spot, not daydream etc and be more in the ‘now’ it’s very hard month after month feeling so upset at a bfn.

That’s wonderful news the ball is rolling on the clinic. ED/male ejaculation issues I’m fairly sure can count as a reason for nhs funding. It may (unfortunately) depend on the area. I strongly believe at least 1 round should be given. I don’t begrudge anyone healthcare but it’s certainly frustrating to know Saturday night fights/drunks etc etc get catered for and we could be told no, it feels very unfair. Rant over!
I hope you’ll start to feel a bit better soon, and that taking the next step of the clinic chat makes you feel good regarding different available choices 💚

@Makingnumber2 it’s annoying and concerning (and painful!) I’ve never had anything like this, along with mild tinnitus 🤔 I sent my Medichecks back today so let’s see if I’m lacking in any vitamins/iron/b12.
My husband is adamant it’s down to having both mmrs and the first Covid over a 4 week period 😰

@Oilyoilyoilgob same as me I weirdly like doing OPK and actually makes me feel less stressed doing them - I’ve tried months doing nothing and I stress even more with the not knowing! But I’m not symptom spotting and trying not to overthink things. I know life is so unfair at times but that’s just the way it is I suppose even tho it’s stupidly annoying! Rant away! Thank you 🧡

@Makingnumber2 thank you lovely and about your previous post - no offence taken - I completely get it... I’m stressing because I’ve never been pregnant and I don’t even know my body can do it (despite being told by doctors we are all good) but I know when I am I will deff feel the same as you so now so i completely get it, no judgment here ❤️

@Lori23TTC I remember so clearly TTC and IVF before we had my girl. I just didn't really believe I could ever be pregnant. It felt like such a distant dream. It did happen to me despite all of that. I've every hope it will happen to you too soon and hopefully we'll all be here on this Thread to celebrate with you

We did our first SI since IVF last night. Was all fine but I've a feeling my ovulation is a way off even tho my oestrogen has started to rise. We shall see.

@Lori23TTC I like opks too and seeing the line get darker, it’s one thing I can cheer my body on for like ‘go ovaries’ 😄

There are so many ways now with technology for getting a bfp, so I’m so hopeful for you that one day this will happen for you and you’ll get the bfp you deserve 💚 xx

CD17, no closer to ovulating, faint OPK and flashing smiley on clear blue digital thingy. I had flashing smiley for five days last cycle I think and ovulated on CD24. I'm sick to death of my long cycles 😤

That is all. 😂 A little rant.

I feel like my friends and family don’t know whether to ask as it’s been postponed so many times 🤣 but we are very excited and frantically trying to plan everything.

My dress is a big satin ball gown- nothing like I imagined but I feel so beautiful in it 🥺!! I will def share some pics 💕 we are getting married in a big Manor House type place with picturesque grounds. We have a singer, a caricature artist and we are only allowed 28 guests. Colour scheme is dusty sage and golds, lots of foliage and blush pink!!

According to my fertility monitor it is 2nd day of peak will SI again tonight hopefully! Catch up properly with you all soon, thinking of you all & feeling confident I will return to reading some of you getting your BFPs 😌

I’m cd25, due to start 7/8th May. Awaiting private bloods back from Medichecks, like a lady MOT 😁 got my blood test at ivf clinic next Tuesday too-with that and acupuncture I’m like a little pincushion!

Hello ladies! Just checking in. @MrsKin90 hope your opks pick up soon. I used to love my shorter cycles thinking it gave me more chances at pregnancy, but after a while I started feeling like they only made me feel disappointed more often... We can't win with our bodies 💔

Not much to report on my side. It's been 5 days since my embryo transfer. I'm oddly not obsessing with symptom spotting yet and I cant quite figure out if I feel hopeful or not. I think something about knowing that there is/was an embryo inside you and that there is a very tangible chance you might be pregnant somehow makes it scarier? It's like the more probable it seems, the more my body goes into a self preservation mode and tries not to get my hopes up. I can't quite explain it. Anyway! My blood hcg test is scheduled for tuesday to see if the little marble decided to stick around... let's see if I can resist the urge to poas before then! xx

I’ve been thinking about you and your little bean. I think you’ve explained yourself very eloquently ☺️ It’s pretty amazing there’s an embryo in there and I honestly can’t imagine the feelings that must invoke as you are waiting. I strongly believe that at some point (hopefully this one) you will get your pregnancy.
