1 DPO tomorrow! Any buddies?

Hey all! Today is ovulation day, the 2WW is about to begin. Anyone else on the same cycle? Let's agonise over possible symptoms together!

I've been compulsively testing morning and night, still nothing more than a questionable shadow. Last night and this morning I've had cramps and light brown CM when I wipe. AF due Thursday. It's either implantation or a very strange and unusual start to AF. As it's brown and mucous-y I am hoping it's implantation. Time will tell!

How's everyone else getting on?

@Veronika13 according to my app AF would be expected on Wednesday so my plan was, if nothing there when I first wake up, to test then.

But having said that I've just in the past hour or two come over feeling like AF is very much on the way in the next few days so I'm probably not going to get to the testing stage.

Feeling a bit teary now. It's only my second cycle trying (first proper one with OPK etc) but I'm 35 this month and just panicking I've left TTC all bit too late xx

@Sparklestars86 I've been driving myself crazy and reading old threads where people have said they had proper AF signs and then got their bfp. Probably not a good thing as gets your hopes up a bit but you're not out until she arrives.

AF is due today for me but no sign yet. I had cramps on Friday and Saturday and was convinced it was on the way, this just messes with your head doesn't it! Have ordered some tests to arrive tomorrow so will test then

I genuinely had no idea how stressful this was going to be! Just naively thought mother nature would be ready and waiting to do her thing as soon as we decided we were ready. Here's hoping... 🤞🤞 Xx

So, I'm just all talk by saying I was going to wait. I got teary earlier so my husband persuaded me that we should test now rather than have it hanging over us for the next few days. I genuinely thought it would just be confirming my suspicions about AF being on the way. But this happened... I know there is a looong way to go yet but I'm enjoying this moment for now. 💕💕

@Violet1988 I hadn't til you mentioned it! Should be 16 or 18 December (I'm not 100% sure what my average cycle length is but between 26 and 28.) Xx

Well, AF is here. Had some bright red, stringy blood when I wiped this eve. I'm so much more upset than I thought I would be. Having a little (ok big) cry. I know they say it takes months, maybe even a year, and I need to get used to it. But we did everything we could, OPKs, BDIng everyday over 6 day fertile period, and it didn't work. Also bummed that it seems my luteal phase is on the short side, getting AF at 11 DPO. Sad times ☹️

On to the next cycle I guess...

@HopingForBabyM2021 So sorry to hear AF arrived. Mine arrived at 10DPO this time so my LP was also pretty short. I think it's ok if it's a one off occurrence!
We're pretty close in terms of CD's. This will be our cycle!!💫💫

For those that are out this month I think I'll be joining you. 11dpo, lots of negative tests, and feel af on the way. Want to get it over with now so I can start again in a couple of weeks

@Sparklestars86 ah lovely, you're not too old at 35 to have a baby! I'm 34 and ttc first cycle ☺️ where I live the majority of first mums are late 30s.

You're still so young, you've only just started trying, give yourself and your body a chance .
There are women who are early 40s and just started trying- and they're not too old either 😀
Try to stay positive as that is the good environment for us to conceive 😊 but also there is not one reason at the moment for worry, we have only started trying ttc :) It will happen eventually, just do all the required things and I'm sure we will get our positive test sooner than later 😚

Just an update from me...AF was due yesterday so did a test about an hour ago and can't believe it!
