Bing Bing the BFP bus is back!

Last bus we got some great results and now it’s a REAL Easter 🐣hunt so let’s make like 🐰s and jump on the 🍆

Oh but we’ve packed up the 🥪🌭🌮Cos we can do that soon! A picnic, and in our sandwiches we’ve got some weird things...little 🍆conchions, pickles, crisps, KETCHUP?? Say what?? Whatever you want in your bread bring it to the bus!

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

Hop on the bus, give us your best embarrassing story and grab a ticket, we are TTC in very weird ways and usually talking about most other things 🍞🥨🥞🍔

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

9dpo here and trying hard to ignore my chart/not to symptom spot. But I was quite achey on my right ovary side at 6dpo and have had both rhr and temp jump up since to 36.99 and 73 today 🤞. Also had so much creamy cm yday that I had to change my pants halfway through the day 😅

My rhr remains as interesting as my life. 🤣

@Juno231 you'd think they'd rule it out though? If it takes 40 years to even get pregnant, i can't afford to have another issue happening after that. Chart looks good!

@paintfairy yeah although I think it's rare enough for them not to bother to test pre emptively for it? Thing is where do you draw the line? If you test for that then why not also for NK cells and a dna frag for OH? I know what you mean though.

@DJmum83 that's shocking about the leaving her in wet clothes! No matter how short staffed or busy things may get, something like that should be a priority. So glad you've made a fuss about it hopefully things will improve.

DS is obsessed with babies at the minute and keeps asking me to go to the baby shop and get a baby sister put in my tummy. He's just after shouting across the garden there "Mummy, do you have a baby in your tummy?" When I said no he said "Yes you do mummy, stop telling lies!" No idea where that came from, if it wasn't for the fact I'm in the midst of full flow AF I'd have gotten my hopes up that he's psychic but by god now all my neighbours who were out enjoying the sunshine are going to think that I'm pregnant and just to early to tell them as he wouldn't drop it he just kept asking over and over about the baby in my tummy and saying that I was lying till I brought him indoors to stop it! I have decided that your toddler insisting that your pregnant actually feels worse than someone asking you when you're planning on having kids when you're having trouble ttc in the background........I'm just going to go and sob in a corner and quite possibly tax him another half an Easter egg 🤦‍♀️

I'm hanging today, not fun! Prosecco in my mates back garden, that was fun tho! Saw two houses today, one show home, one just finished so just white walls. They'll do part exchange too, which is great as ours doesn't seem to be shifting. It's a new development so they have a new phase launching as soon as these last two are sold, so thinking we'll wait n reserve one we really like instead of settling. These last two left all had north east facing gardens which was a bit of deal breaker for us.

@DJmum83 what did I miss about wet clothes? Doesn't sound good?

@Juno231 ohh what do your charts usually look like? Fingers crossed it's a good sign! I'm only using mines for confirming ovulation now as it looks different every month and has teased me with high upward lines only to drop at the last minute before AF.

Yeah that's right about the gardens. They're also right at the back of the development and over look a factory and are semi detached. We'd rather wait and get a detached one in a better spot. Although we could get a good deal on these ones, one to mull over for a few days!
@2020mission ooh nothing like a teasing body right! I'm glad I never started temping. I bought a thermometer and just never ended up using it. I think I'd get obsessed 😂

My wee girl has adhd and bladder problems the school have been leaving all day in wet clothes, sometimes she can pee up to 6-8 times in a day and when I get her home she is either soaking or it's dried in so she is stinking.
I took pictures of her red raw and sporty bun and showed to the headmaster asked if he would like to walk around like this. Needless to say the next day she was changed 3 times and it better stay that way. We are waiting on her appointment to the urologist.

@Juno231 that chart is looking very promising. Please please let this be your month.

I've had a look at all my charts since I started bbt tracking and I've never had a temp as high as 36.99 before and if my temp remains high tomorrow it'll be the first time I've got anything vaguely resembling a triphasic chart. Saying that, I'm still fully expecting AF to show right on time.

@Juno231 blood tests can't cost that much? Seems a bit bonkers them paying like 5k for ivf for you, and not a blood test to check for issues?

@Juno231 @paintfairy which blood tests you on about? I can perhaps help with the cost?

@paintfairy @Minster2012 looks like dna frag is £500 ish to test for, and then reproductive immunology testing for eg nk cells, sperm antibodies etc could be a couple of grand? I reckon these things can quickly rack up!

@Juno231 @Minster2012 yeah probably not cheap. But I just think it's silly the nhs blindly paying for ivf you when it might not work due to some other issue? Because they could save themselves some money if it wouldn't work anyway or if your problem might be easily solved?
Like- ok, they've ticked the box that they've helped you and you are then written off (private then being the only option), but actually they didn't work out what was wrong? And it could have been something that could easily be fixed, but ultimately the outcome is you'll never know and end up childless? Or going on to have miscarriages that they could have foreseen.

I suppose they can't do everything but I do think they should look at more than they do?

On the ivf tests, I know someone who went through a few rounds and then had testing done which showed her progesterone was so low she never would have gotten pregnant. Started taking injections for it then got pregnant! Took years to get to that point.

I'm not very knowledgeable about charts @Juno231 but that looks v promising to me. Let's hope it keeps rising 🤞 I've attached rhr - not as flat as yours @paintfairy! My apps all say I was due to ovulate 10 days ago but I didn't track so not a clue. I feel like AF is on her way already tho, feel kinda crampy and weird vag feeling (not my best description 🤣). Can you use rhr to track ovulation?!

Ahhhhh I see what you are talking about now @Juno231 @paintfairy, yes you raise a fair point but my clinic have said that embryos have to be a certain quality level for testing even which is past the level for putting back in fresh and often the testing can harm an embryo more. Same as I was talking to them about the scenario that if we had only 1 or 2 embryos then would it be a better idea for us to not transfer them to me in the fresh cycle but instead freeze them for potential surrogacy instead like we did before. Their answer was they would have to be frozen on day 3 again if that were the case because an embryo has to be deemed even better quality to freeze (to then stand a chance to survive the thaw) than they would transfer in a fresh cycle, so if I were all prepared then we might as well just transfer one or both instead of run the risk of them not being good enough to be frozen IYSWIM as the freeze/thaw process can be detrimental to an embryo in the same way testing can. I've read an awful lot about tested embryos still failing so we decided the odds don't make it any more worthwhile for us. 🤷🏼‍♀️
