Hi all, just checking in and waiting for AF to finish. Start this rollercoaster again

Hi ladies just checking in - it’s been a while since I last posted but have been trying to keep up with all the posts! What an awesome thread!
I took a test yesterday at 9dpo (silly I know but couldn’t stop myself 😂) and was BFN - and crystal clear, not even a shadow or indent of a line - which I expected! I have one more FRER which I’ll do at 12dpo and then just wait for AF to arrive after that.. lots of luck to everyone xx

Thanks so much! I'm trying to keep my cool as the negative IC test has made me really doubt myself. Will hopefully get a FR test tomorrow 🤞

@mgw1 the maca sounds interesting! DH who normally doesnt have any trouble has been feeling the pressure a bit since we started TTC. I've noticed they have got it in the wellman conception tablets which I was thinking of getting him if we weren't successful this cycle.

Whats maca root? Need to get some!! 😁😁😁

I ordered him some because my friend has a friend who had suffered recurrent mc's like me and maca root helped her conceive along with progesterone. Anyway it improves sperm quality and quantity so i got him 4000mg from amazon. 2 week in and he says hes up for it all the time , had sex last 4 days and not my fertile week until next monday!!! Its doing my head in 🙈🤣🤣 xx

Well now my mind has suddenly started! It just suddenly decided having 2 cold sores in a row & possible a 3rd on it's way that could be a symptom. Probably just because of how busy I've been so therefore from fatigue

@MgW1 I'm only 11dpo so deffo too early to test! When I wake up 2-3 days left to wait..

@climbershell I've had BFPs at 9dpo and know this because I test ridiculously early every cycle, even when there's pretty much no chance. I'm at peace with it by now 😬

@Sleeeeeepy still early days for me but I'm also an early tester! I mean I got 30 tests for a fiver because I'm super impatient. I tested at 5DPO today just because I felt like it.
With my LH this cycle I tested once a day till the line started getting darker, then pretty much every time I peed until it was almost non existent. Think I just love POAS or rather dipping a stick.

@Lalala1985 aaah we must be POAS sisters 😂 The numbers of tests I must have got through over the years is crazy but I have no regrets!

@MgW1 & @Sleeeeeepy yeah you can get BFP at 10dpo, but you can also get false negatives, it's only at around 14dpo that you're unlikely to avoid a false negative

Morning ladies how are we all? Another 8 days till my ovulation window 😒 trying to throw myself into work make next week go quick then hump week and then the 2ww 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Morning all and welcome newbies!

After my weirdly early ovulation this month i think I missed the window but did lots anyway because it’s fun! Any excuse...! So in the 2ww. I find it so DULL. I think I’m out but can’t risk wine. URGH ;-D

@Bombshell85 there’s tonnes of research suggesting obesity does NOT affect fertility, it’s just part of a broader spectrum of possible (but not inevitable) health issues that can impact people, so don’t let that stress you.

Word of caution on Maca root: good for guys but I’d suggest ladies stay off it. Very mixed results on that one, including several suggesting it can eff with your endocrine system in the same way ibuprofen does. OBVS I’m relying on Dr. Google here, but unless research is conclusive I tend to err on the side of caution. Happy to be wrong on this one as i loooove maca lattes!

@Bombshell85 P.S - are you exercising? I’m not overweight and I still find it challenging in this pandemic, but that will really help blood flow to all the right areas and keep the heart healthy, which will be super important for a successful pregnancy. Xx

Get him on them!!! Prob takes about a week to kick in. My friend suggested them because her friend was struggling to conceive , had a few mc's and had been trying ages because her husbands sperm count was on the low side anyway and they tried maca and got preg quicker than previously and it was successful. It may have been a coincidence but deffo boosts libido!!! 🤣🤣
