@Twelvestars it is 🙁 especially when I've seen others getting nhs appointments for the same things so quickly! There must be a lot of people needing gynaecology in my area! I have my google research hat on today for the best way to get the tests done!

Kitekat81 · 02/04/2021 10:21

@Misty84 hmm yeh that doesn't sound much fun does it. Did they suggest that instead of the hycosy then? I can't remember if you said you'd had one of those already. When's your appointment at the Lister?

Misty84 · 02/04/2021 10:29

@Kitekat81 Yeah they did...I don’t know why😔
I had my LH, FSH and AMH redone yesterday and an NHS consultation in 2 weeks (there was a cancellation!) to discuss it. Figured I would have that free consultation before my mega expensive one!! The more advice the better!!
I know we have similar AMH levels, is that the case for follicle count too? (I had 10).
When are your consultations? You have to let me know how they go!🙏

Kitekat81 · 02/04/2021 10:47

@Misty84 ah that's good you got that NHS cancellation, definitely the more advice the better. Unfortunately my follicle count was worse than yours 😢 6 on my January scan and 7 on Feb scan. I've got the Glasgow consultation on 7th April, Create scan on 12th and Create consultation on 15th.

Misty84 · 02/04/2021 10:52

@Kitekat81 Ugh I’m sorry, I know how rubbish it all feels. I’m so scared to find out what my latest AMH is and if it has decreased by much in the last 5 months.
At least we are both taking action now and getting the help we need 💪
Great that your consultations are soon xx

02Carol · 02/04/2021 11:14

@Misty84

Great news about the cancellation, I hope things move forward for you sooner and positively.

Kitekat81 · 02/04/2021 13:05

@Misty84 try not to worry about your results, 5 months isn't that long really. When will you find out?x

M4v3r1ck · 02/04/2021 15:41

Thanks, ladies! 😘 Urgh so I thought that was my period starting, but she's not appeared properly! It was just the odd bit of super light spotting yesterday afternoon! My temp is back down at pre-ovulatory levels though! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ Currently CD30, and just want this over with so I can start my next cycle! I used to be around 27 days per cycle, so that MMC has definitely messed me up!

@MgW1 good to hear from you! Hope that time flies by and you get some answers and solutions! 😘

@Kitekat81 🤣 I know, although we seem to have gotten that glorious weather now! 😎 Got all my 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for your appointments in the next few weeks! 😘

@TTCat39 I really hope you can get your other tests ASAP, and then start putting together a plan to make this happen for you! 😘🤞🏻

@Misty84 glad to hear you're feeling better and have a plan in place! Where are you at in your current cycle? 🤞🏻 you'll get your BFP before all your tests!

@Geriatric1234 definitely relating to those "bodies are really mysterious" feelings! I supposedly ovulated on CD14-15, and now on CD30 and waiting for AF... 🤔 I'm wondering if our MMCs have just knocked things? This is still only my second proper cycle post-MC!

@Marvellouslymadmum is there any way you can get things sped up? Hopefully with lockdowns easing, things will pick up! 🤞🏻

All the 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 for the symptom spotters! Hopefully we'll get some BFPs soon! 😃

Happy Easter everyone! :)

My kids have 16 Easter Eggs, it's obscene! Their grandparents are literally bonkers. Mummy might just have to help eat them all up before they go bad hehe.

So 10dpo.. tested with a FRER and an easy@home FMU, both BFN but something on the test strip was catching my eye but it was like 99.5% negative.

I then POAS again at lunch time, checked it at about 4/5 mins and didn't see anything. Then got distracted with the kids, came back to it about 30 mins later and saw this! It has definite colour in real life but was obviously after the time limit and I am not in any way getting my hopes up at all!! I am however holding my pee to test again lol.

What plans have you all got for the long weekend? :)
xx

@M4v3r1ck oh that is so annoying when you just want to crack on with the next cycle! I'm not much help with the temps etc but hope it resolves one way or the other very soon for you!

How do you do all of those tags and remember who has said what? I keep trying to remember as I type replies but can't...is there a trick?!

Marvellouslymadmum · 02/04/2021 16:21

@M4v3r1ck I'm hoping that the lockdown ease will help and going to speak to the gp to find out if there's anything else that can be done

@Feanorous ooh that looks like a little
Line! 🤞🏻 for your next test!

My children used to be like that with grandparents and aunts and uncles they would have enough chocolate to last a year! Now they're older they get a mix of chocolate and money so not too bad lol

It's pretty crazy isn't it...My Mum and Dad just have no self control whatsoever. At Christmas they turn up with SACKS full of presents, much to our dismay. I mean, not in an ungrateful way, it's lovely that they want to spoil them but we just find it a bit much.
We used to get one or two small things from the grandparents when we were young. Don't get me started on this I could go on all day!

Yep I'm off to go test again. I am a POAS addict and I don't mind admitting it lol.

thislittlebird · 02/04/2021 16:47
@TTCat39 as you are the same age as me I would recommend checking that you have had 2x MMR jabs. I just assumed that because my parents aren't anti-vaxxers that I must have had it, but turns out for our age group they only did measles not the other two (I actually had mumps as a kid so would have got immunity from that, but hadn't had the rubella jab). It wasn't a massive deal but did hold up our fertility clinic referral by a couple of weeks as I needed to get a booster as they wanted to see evidence I'd had it twice. Just another check to add to your list!
I had mumps as an adult in my 20s.....I assumed I had had the vaccine but maybe I did not after all based on this 🤔

Marvellouslymadmum · 02/04/2021 16:51

@Feanorous my ex husbands parents used to be like that with mine when they were little, I'd have so many toys they would t finish opening them all properly by the next year 😂 luckily they're not as bad now they're older as everything is more pricey
Good luck for the test!

@Feanorous my BFP last yr on that brand looked exactly like that! Fingers crossed for next test!! 🤞🏻
TTCat39 · 02/04/2021 17:34

@M4v3r1ck Thank you. You don't think the GP will just write me off with a bad FSH? That's what I'm concerned about. But from reading others' experiences, some have had several shots at the blood tests to see if there had been an improvement, am I reading that right?

Pamparam · 02/04/2021 22:11

That’s exciting @Feanorous! Keep us posted.

I’m behind on the thread, nothing to report here. CD6 and awaiting first opk testing day. Same old routine! Hope everyone has a lovely Easter weekend x

MgW1 · 03/04/2021 08:44

@M4v3r1ck
Morning , how are you getting on with things?

Misty84 · 03/04/2021 09:13

Happy Easter weekend @Pamparam (and everyone!). What day do you start testing? I’m on CD5.

@TTCat39 The reason I’ve just had my bloods redone is so that I have up to date results for the private clinic (saves me a bit of money!)

Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning!

Kitekat81 · 03/04/2021 10:08

Morning everyone! @M4v3r1ck how are you doing, any sign of your period?

Well yesterday was cd1 for me so ended up being a complete write-off for me. My sum achievements for the day were having two naps, eating a massive pizza and a whole tub of chocolate ice cream, and watching about 6 episodes of the office. Thank goodness there are still three days left of the weekend, and the sun is shining! ☀️

Loladoodle · 03/04/2021 10:53

Happy Easter 🐣 everyone! Enjoy the long weekend! 😄 as much as I’d love a fertilised egg this Easter... after a stressful week for a number of reasons I think we’ve missed the boat 🚣‍♀️ there’s a very small chance of an egg being around this weekend if I’ve ov late but haven’t done opks and haven’t been up for it! Things have settled and we will dtd tonight/tomorrow but I do feel it’s too late. Oh well, chocolate eggs over fertilised for me this Easter! (Looks like I’ve avoided that Christmas due date after all)

Loladoodle · 03/04/2021 10:54

@Feanorous hoping it’s a bfp for you! Keep us updated 🙏

02Carol · 03/04/2021 11:00

@kitekat81
They sound like good achievements to me! I love ice cream! I have had to many days like that recently and decided I needed to start exercising yesterday, my hamstrings hate Me today!

I'm on CD8, good luck to everyone starting a new cycle, l hope someone gets a BFP this month.
Also does anyone else do really confused shopping? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Asking for a friend 🤣

Sleeeeeepy · 03/04/2021 11:49

Happy Easter ladies!

We're almost certainly out this month, only dtd once and probably far too early. Work has gone crazy for both of us. I'm starting to wonder whether I really want this any more, I can't visualise being pregnant again, a friend just had a baby and I didn't get that jealous pang which really surprised me. Maybe I'm just knackered and it'll come back once I've had a bit of sleep!

Kitekat81 · 03/04/2021 12:34

@Sleeeeeepy I know that feeling. I think most people go hey, let's have kids! then within a few months they are pregnant, then they are parents and just get on with it. Because we've all been trying for so long, we have so much time to think about it - Is this what we really want? Will we be good parents? How will we afford this? What about no more lie ins and romantic holidays? Yeh babies are cute, but teenagers are freaking scary! - does everyone else have all these kind of thoughts?!
