@Ralala I agree with @CocoLoco88 keep testing for a few days and log them in Premom to see them go back down and Premom will then log your peak. I think ovulation is 12-36 hours after peak. My peak was 3pm Sunday so my apps marked ovulation as Monday. I also don't bbt so I just go with that.

Ralala · 13/04/2021 22:11

Thanks all. We will DTD again tomorrow afternoon. We don’t do every day because hubs sperm is just above average. When we struggled to conceive our little one the fertility clinic advised against every day and advised every other day to help build his sperm. I’m just relieved I seem to be ovulating this cycle!!!

KJLM · 14/04/2021 07:46

Thank you @MSK1 and @justwant2beamum your words certainly helped me yesterday evening where I took it easy and just had dinner and watched tv with my husband which took my mind off things. Today I’m going to busy myself with work and go a run this evening in the hope it continues to distract me into the weekend!

AlbiMix · 14/04/2021 08:35

@Ralala your one step tests look the same as mine did - I assumed that it was a surge and kept testing for another day after I got the darkest lines (again they looked just like your darkest, so still quite faint), they went down the next day. I got a BFP so clearly those faint lines on one step can mean ovulation is coming.

AlbiMix · 14/04/2021 08:37

Stay strong @KJLM, it is so hard but I really think being cooped up in lockdown has made the MC worse for me, as I'm never distracted (even while WFH). Hopefully bring able to see people more will help us all cope better...

MSK1 · 14/04/2021 10:46

You’re welcome @KJLM, pleased to hear that you had a nice evening.

I couldn’t agree more @AlbiMix, lockdown has made things so much harder. From having to go to the EPU on our own, to not being able to see anyone, the whole MC has been hard enough without all of the pandemic stuff on top. I honestly think I’ll have some sort of PTSD from the whole experience. Sounds dramatic but it’s honestly been awful.

justwant2beamum · 14/04/2021 14:31

Aw @MSK1 it's awful isn't it. I found out about my mmc at a scan on my own. Worst girl gang ever pod cast is good and one of the first few esposides is with someone who was diagnosed with ptsd following loss, maybe worth a listen. I've liked listening to the podcasts sorry if you already know about them xx

MSK1 · 14/04/2021 16:06

Thanks @justwant2beamum, I’ll check the podcast out. So sorry to hear that you had to go through it on your own, it’s just awful. Here’s hoping our luck will change soon and we’ll join the BFP gang!

Badlydrawngirly · 14/04/2021 17:08

Hey @Jujujuberry it is quite exciting although I am really scared IVF won’t work. I’m trying to take one step at a time and have my scan tomorrow to see how I’m responding to the Letrozole. I find it hard not to skip too far ahead and I keep working out if I fall pregnant when my due day will be. I think I’ve actually lost the plot!

At first I thought PGS/D testing would be the answer but having read up I’m not sure it is for us. I’ll wait to see what the results are from the recent miscarriage and if it was chromosomal and go from there. I know the clinic in Greece aren’t overly keen unless there’s a specific genetic concern but I will discuss it with them when I’m out there. I would like to save myself the heartache of putting back embryos that will miscarry but some of the tests detect a mosaic abnormality which in some cases can correct itself as the embryo develops I think. It’s so hard to know what to do!

birdbybird · 14/04/2021 19:17

Hello, just popping by from the other thread... congratulations @AlbiMix.
Your posts on the other thread helped me so much. Congratulations! :)
This is my second cycle after MC and working out when I can test... I had a positive opk on Saturday and Sunday.

Ralala · 14/04/2021 22:05

Thanks ladies for all your opk input. It’s been super helpful. So we DTD on the evening of cd13. I got my peak about 7/8pm on cd14. We DTD at midday on cd15. An opk on cd 15 morning and cd 15 evening confirm peak on cd14. Opks are getting fainter and CM starting to dry up. I think ovulation has occurred! Will DTD again on cd17 in case delayed and hope we have covered all bases.

Jujujuberry · 15/04/2021 10:17

Hey @Badlydrawngirly yeah I agree It is exciting, but also scary too, but just think hundreds of thousands of women have done ivf and have been successful and you can too!! So I was just reading it starts with the egg, and in chapter 9 it discusses DHEA, it talks about how women with low ovarian reserve who took this supplement 2-3 months before ivf were more likely to have a successful pregnancy. Please dont be offended, I have no idea if you have low reserves or not - but its really positive for women over 40. If you haven't read it already I recommended it Smile I’ve just started taking Ubiquinol as its supposed to help energy production in my cells, which helps with chromosomes. Aww try not to think about due dates, whatever date your future baby comes will be perfect, so try not to dwell on it! Big hugs xox

justwant2beamum · 15/04/2021 10:21

@birdbybird I'm on similar time scale to you got positive OPK on Sunday. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 for you ✨✨

Brightspark12 · 15/04/2021 11:29

Hi ladies just been catching up! Good luck to everyone who currently in the 2ww. Had my period about 33 days after my MC which surprisingly was normal!
CD9 today Boobs feeling a bit sore this morning which is normal for me around Ovulation so did a CB advanced ovulation test and got a flashing smiley! Never had one before so I’m buzzing 😂
Does anyone else reel really anxious at the thought of being pregnant again? The constant worry if you see blood or have pain.. it’s exhausting! Xx

MSK1 · 15/04/2021 13:19

Hi @Brightspark12, CD9 for me too. Going to start on my CB OPKs tomorrow morning. Yes, I’m absolutely terrified about being pregnant again, although I’m also worried about not falling pregnant. There’s a whole lot of worrying going on here! Fingers crossed this will be our lucky cycle. X

AlbiMix · 15/04/2021 15:59

Thanks @birdbybird and I'm glad I could help, I hope you're doing well.

Good luck to everyone in 2WW & getting opks.

@Brightspark12 I'm living the fear and anxiety as I'm now pregnant again...i do feel so worried but also I have no expectations of a positive outcome since the MC, so just trying to cope milestone by milestone on the advice of these amazing ladies. Good luck!

Brightspark12 · 15/04/2021 16:09

@AlbiMix massive congratulations 🥳 I suppose in a way it’s good that we will be slightly apprehensive as we know what can go wrong and not be completely oblivious which in my opinion is worse x

birdbybird · 15/04/2021 16:39

@justwant2beamum I’m now confused as to whether I ovulated when I thought I did. As have got a darker opk yesterday and today.
I think I’ll go back to temping and CM checking next cycle. These opks with lines are too confusing.

justwant2beamum · 15/04/2021 17:13

@birdbybird oh no! Did you temp at all this cycle?

Elsie2021 · 15/04/2021 18:12

Hi everyone 🙂

Is it okay if I join? I am 2 and a half weeks post medical management of missed miscarriage at 13 weeks.

We discovered at our 12 week scan that our baby had stopped growing at 11 weeks and there was no heartbeat. I am currently still getting very positive pregnancy results so hoping for them to be negative soon so we can start trying again!

Badlydrawngirly · 15/04/2021 18:15

@Jujujuberry I’ve heard lots of good things about that book and think I’m on most of the supplements. I’m not on DHEA as I think my testosterone is a bit high. I might be getting it confused with another supplement though as there are so many!

I had some good news today in that I have two follicles (12mm and 13mm) on the right side which is where I have a tube so that is good. It’s CD7 and my lining is a bit thin but he wasn’t too worried. I’m going to monitor with OPKs and hope I ovulate!

justwant2beamum · 15/04/2021 18:23

@Elsie2021 so sorry for your loss xx

birdbybird · 15/04/2021 19:33

@justwant2beamum I didn’t temp this cycle. So no idea where I am at this point.

JenTTC · 15/04/2021 20:22
