@AlbiMix not upsetting, it personally helps me feel positive seeing it happen for others especially quickly. Really hoping that will be me soon 🤞🏻✨

Ralala · 11/04/2021 17:41

Thank you @justwant2beamum. I will pee on these this month to use them up and get some of those other ones ordered😂

justwant2beamum · 11/04/2021 19:28

@Ralala yeah definitely still use them, but I'd just take the darkest line you get as your peak, ignore if it's not as dark as other peoples on here cause that freaked me out 😂

According to Premom that's me had my peak today on CD12 so apps now predicting ovulation tomorrow. Dtd this morning so think will do tomorrow and Tuesday and 🤞🏻 don't have a good feeling already though as I have so much stress on at work atm 🥺

AlbiMix · 12/04/2021 08:44

Thanks @KJLM @Mellous ❤️ trying to be relaxed but not having symptoms is driving me crazy like it did the first time.

@justwant2beamum glad it's encouraging, and good luck for this cycle! 🤞🤞

Badlydrawngirly · 12/04/2021 10:44

@TheHotelCalifornia thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words! I’m trying to be pragmatic about working out when we will go to Greece etc but I’ve been so down over the weekend I haven’t wanted to do anything. I’m meant to be back at work this week but only a few hours each day and I’m working from home so should be doable. I’m just feeling highly anxious about everything.

@AlbiMix congratulations! I can only imagine how you must be feeling, I would be exactly the same if I fell pregnant again. It was bad enough last time and that was after a 3 year wait which had allowed the rawness of the previous loss to soften a bit.

The advice about milestones is good. Have they said they’ll book you in for an early scan at the EPU?

I’m keeping everything crossed for you and @Neady1980 and of course all of the other lovely ladies on here xx

MiamiBeach104 · 12/04/2021 10:48

Hey ladies. Just catching up on the messages. Congrats to all BFP's and good luck for the rest of us.

I finally had my first period after MC at nearly 11wk 38 days ago. It's bringing me mixed emotions. At first it was bringing bad memories and also disappointment of not getting pregnant. But it is also a relief that body is getting back to normal. I must say that the flow is much higher compared to my normal period. Will wait for few days to see if it gets back to normal.

I also find myself less obsessed now. I want to have a baby more than anything else in the world but the idea of it is not occupying my mind. This might change again when I get my ovulation and start symptom spotting Grin Would be interesting to hear how you are dealing with it?

Will go to a hairdresser on Saturday and to the beer garden at my local pub on Sunday. Even it was snowing this morning the spring is nearly there and things are getting better :)

AlbiMix · 12/04/2021 15:24

Thanks @Badlydrawngirly ❤️ I haven't spoken to a doctor yet as just got the BFP on Friday. I have a GP phone call on Thursday and am going to ask them to refer me to the midwife and see if I can get any extra support because of the recent MC and my other health conditions. Last time I wasn't even referred to a midwife when I MCd at 8 weeks because I was moving cities and it was all very complicated. This time I really want to try and get as much support as I can. If they won't scan early I might just book a private one at 6/7 weeks (if I get that far). Last time my 8 week scan showed no HB and baby size of 6 weeks. I know hearing a HB doesn't mean it's in the clear at all but it's further than I got last time so I'm praying I can get there while trying to stay level headed...Sad

@MiamiBeach104 I was pretty obsessed 😂 really glad you're feeling positive atm and good on you for enjoying the pub. Sod's law I got a BFP just before pubs reopen 😂

CocoLoco88 · 12/04/2021 20:53

Evening everyone, hadn’t checked in for a while so wanted to come by here to find some positive posts to cheer me up and wasn’t disappointed!! Congrats to all the new BFPs, so nice to read these hopeful stories 😌

Had a phone appointment with the local fertility consultant earlier who thinks I probably have PCOS but will need more tests to confirm... any other ladies here managing this condition? Currently CD87 post-MC and still no sign of AF - send me those period vibes please!! 😂 x

EsseKey · 12/04/2021 21:08

Hi @CocoLoco88 sorry to hear you might have pcos, I am not sure but I think it is maneagable with some medications, it's great you are approaching it with a fertility consultant.
I am on CD 27 post mc, I know it's still with in reasonable range but I really want to get my period so that I can kind of close the circle. I am sending period vibes to you hopefully you can also get yours soon! Do you have any pms symptoms or anything like that? I think I am having some but I might just be making it up in my head...

CocoLoco88 · 12/04/2021 21:33

@EsseKey AF symptoms wise I’ve had a little bit of cramping today but that may have been anxiety about the appointment tbh!! Also think I could be imagining it 😂 I’m so in my head about it these days...

I can totally identify with that desire to close the circle by having a period so that things can move on! Did you have regular cycles beforehand? X

TheDaydreamBelievers · 12/04/2021 22:28

@CocoLoco88 no one involved in managing it yet but I'm guessing I almost definitely do. Mega long cycles both before conceiving and now after MC. Is your consultant private?

CocoLoco88 · 13/04/2021 07:54

@TheDaydreamBelievers I think he does work privately but this was through the NHS, at UCLH (I’m in London).

I’d been to the GP and had some tests earlier last year because of the madly long cycles, so a hospital referral was made then that luckily I didn’t remember to cancel when I found out I was pregnant, so that’s something 👍

Have you talked to the GP about the long cycles before? I was on the pill for ten years so I had no idea about mine until I came off and we started trying... x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 13/04/2021 08:05

@CocoLoco88 ahh see, I was referred to gynaecology/fertility clinic by GP after bloods. But got the appt when about 10 weeks pregnant. So I then cancelled (a few weeks before MC). My GP has re-run bloods and re-referred me, so if we dont conceive in next 6 months I'll be in a similar position then! You and I are very similar - was on the pill 12 years and since off it (well over a year ago) my cycles have been super long, some annovulatory, and have had the miscarriage too.

Ralala · 13/04/2021 11:38

Ladies these one step ovulation tests are awful. The control line is so faint all the time. My test line is now the same colour as my faint control line but still faint. It’s like they forgot to put any colour in them haha!! Anyway I’m not following them as such this month as I don’t think I can rely on them. Just a warning! Don’t buy them!

MiamiBeach104 · 13/04/2021 11:55

@Relala I bought the ones attached and managed to receive positive. However pregnancy tests showed negative after MC and first response still showed faint line.

Hey ladies, been a few days since Ive been here but just wanted to say your all on my mind every so often and sending you all happy baby dust vibes! Its so lovely to see BFP’s congrats @AlbiMix & @Neady1980 xo keep calm, relax and this is a new and different pregnancy ❤️

@Badlydrawngirly that is exciting about ivf! I’ve been looking into it lately as well because of my genetic condition I’ve more of a change of MC, and they can even test the embryo’s first to make sure there are no abnormalities. Have you looked into pgt testing? It’s not the route I thought, but hey life is what it is right, and you keep on going until you succeed, keep your chin up love!! I was so miserable last week, but I’m deciding to focus on my job, & enjoy life. We are trying naturally while we wait for our first fertility appointment, so fingers crossed we get that golden egg in the meantime xx

justwant2beamum · 13/04/2021 14:06

@Ralala that's exactly what I found - they freaked me out. Finally got a dark OPK and a "peak" using the easy at home this month!

TheDaydreamBelievers · 13/04/2021 14:09

@Ralala the one steps vary pack to pack! Some are v generous in the ink dept, some so stingy

KJLM · 13/04/2021 15:09

Afternoon ladies, So my positive vibes that I was trying to give out that lasted until about 4 dpo have very much disappeared. For what reason I’ll never know but decided to to an hcg easy@ home strip yesterday and today (today I am only 7dpo) and OF COURSE it was negative. It has put me in an awful mood- angry/anxious and disappointed really. I feel like we’ve not been successful this month now and just wish I’d held off testing until missed period rather than be in this mood which will no doubt last till AF arrives.
Just came on for a vent really as I am sure you have all been through this feeling. Ugh why is this such a hard journey- very jealous of those who get the journey so easy!

MSK1 · 13/04/2021 16:48

Hi @KJLM, don’t worry, I totally get how you’re feeling. It does feel totally unfair and at times it does feel like some people get everything really easily. The way I try to get past it is by telling myself that I don’t know what other people have been through. If my OH and I are lucky enough to get pregnant again then to everyone on the outside they’ll think it’s our first pregnancy, we haven’t told many people about our MC, when in reality it’s been awful. Suppose we don’t know what everyone else goes through too. I do get what you mean though, my brother and his wife have just had their first baby and it does sting a bit knowing how easily it happened for them.
7 dpo is still really early and you’re not out this month. I’ll keep everything crossed for you! X

justwant2beamum · 13/04/2021 17:52

Sorry @KJLM it's so tough isn't it. I feel the same BIL and GF are pregnant with baby no 2 they're due in July. They fell so easily with dc1 and this one even with BIL working away half the year. Really close friend also due in aug she's 4 weeks ahead of where I was and text me announcing about an hour after we were back from our epu scan confirming the miscarriage (she had no idea to be fair to her, so can't be helped) but they fell easily too and her DP also works away a lot. Another friend just had a baby last week and wants us to meet this weekend to meet baby and I just can't believe I'm right back at square one again :(

Puppymamababymama · 13/04/2021 18:08

Hey everyone, I'm new. I just joined last week because I found so many helpful threads on here. I just had a chemical pregnancy and I had no idea what that was until just a few days ago. I love reading everyone's success stories and for those who have suffered miscarriages I hear you and I appreciate you sharing your experience. These threads have made me feel less alone. I got my definite negative this morning that shows my hcg is back at zero. I'm waiting to try again, it hurts a lot but I'm not giving up ☺️

Ralala · 13/04/2021 19:47

Hi ladies! Sorry quick OPK question. I have been using these rubbish one step ones and loading into Premom. I just got a high with this one from this Evening. Loads of ewcm yesterday and cramps. We DTD last night . Does this look like my LH surge? Due to ovulate now/tomorrow what do you think?

Recent MC - New cycles & trying again Thread 2
MiamiBeach104 · 13/04/2021 20:24

@Relala - it looks like a positive to me. Try testing tomorrow morning and in the afternoon again just to see what happens. Enjoy doing baby dance :)

CocoLoco88 · 13/04/2021 20:29

@Ralala I’d say keep testing twice a day to see if the levels go back down, that helped confirm my peak recently - I’ve attached a pic of my OPKs to show what happened after the surge. The app predicted ovulation to have occurred the day after the peak reading but as I haven’t been tracking my BBT I can’t confirm unfortunately!

Hope that helps a bit?! X
