Oh wow @AlbiMix huge congratulations!!! I totally get how terrifying it must be. But symptoms are no correlation on success of pregnancy. In my pregnancy my symptoms picked up from 7 weeks and got worse and worse, up until my mmc scan at 9+5 which showed the baby had probably died at 7 weeks. So my symptoms were worst after the miscarriage. Also all the stats are hugely in your favour for this to work. As I said to the other girls, break it down into milestones. First milestone is AF due date. Then milestone is 5 weeks and past chemical stage. Then next milestone would be a scan with a heartbeat. These are all only a week or so apart so definitely doable. Write them day in a countdown app and focus only on the next milestone. You've got this xx

@AlbiMix I feel exactly the same way, I got my positive last night on a cheapie, due AF today. I keep going to the loo thinking AF has arrived, I'm even wearing a pad just incase. I've very little symptoms except mild back ache and a little bit of nausea, no tender boobs either. I wanted to do a digital today but OH is visiting his parents again as his Dad isn't well so promised him I'll wait till he gets back.
I wish I had of just waited a few more days before I took a test. We just have to try our best to stay positive and hope for the best. Congratulations on getting your BFP

AlbiMix · 10/04/2021 13:27

Thank you so much @AMS19 your advice is always so helpful. That plan with the milestones sounds very sensible and it's made me feel better already. I think partly why I feel so concerned is that with the first pregnancy I had a gut feeling that everything was going to be fine, like the baby was ok, so when I miscarried I felt like it can't have been an issue with the fetus so must've been me. I know this all sounds a bit crazy.

@Neady1980 I get you, I know you tested also as you were planning to have some drinks, I think it's fair enough if you suspect there's a chance you're pregnant and you want to check before you hit the booze!

As AMS19 says we just need to look for the next milestone (AF due) and see how we go. Sorry to hear your OH is unwell but I bet when you take that test it'll cheer him up.

Let's both try to take it one step at a time. Thank you so much everyone for your advice and support ❤️

AMS19 · 10/04/2021 13:31

If I ever get pregnant again can someone remind me of my own advice please 😂😂

Neady1980 · 10/04/2021 13:35

@AlbiMix honestly I don't think I can believe it until I see the words pregnant on a digital. It's the OH Dad who is sick and getting alot of tests done so OH wont be home until Monday. I was 6 weeks gone the last time I found out but I did have alot of cramping and backache a few days ago.

The milestones are the best and each one is an achievement

AlbiMix · 10/04/2021 14:11

@AMS19 we will be here to remind you, don't you worry! It's easier to give good advice to others, but the thing with your advice is that it isn't just empty words, it's always rational, helpful info - so it absolutely will apply for you when the time comes!

@Neady1980 sorry I had meant to say OH's dad, that sounds stressful. Yes let's try to focus on milestones and just be as chilled as can be...ha!

Badlydrawngirly · 10/04/2021 14:13

Hi @Neady1980 I just realised I misread your post when you said ‘mediation’ and not ‘medication’ Grin

I swear this is frying my brain!

AMS19 · 10/04/2021 14:15

@AlbiMix ❤❤ I'm not holding out any hope of it happening anytime soon so surenill forget everything I've said xx

Neady1980 · 10/04/2021 14:36

@AMS19 you never know, I was 100% sure I was out this month between OH away for most of it and ovulating earlier than normal and honestly we knew it was going to be like this with OH dad being sick, so we said we just take a relaxed approach not timing anything and then in a couple of months we would focus on it 100% but for now just enjoy the days we have together when OH is home. I know its disheartening when AF arrives but I just kept thinking it was a bad egg and heres to another month closer to getting a BFP

AlbiMix · 10/04/2021 15:28

@AMS19 as @Neady1980 says it can happen when you least expect it. Even if it doesn't happen right now, the odds are that it will in the next few months when the right egg comes along. You can enjoy a lovely relaxing summer ahead of you as I know you're planning a break from tracking etc. and when it happens we will be here for you!

Willow1982 · 10/04/2021 15:31

I feel like crying, just seen pregnancy announcement on Facebook for October! That’s when I would have been due!! Does it get easier 😢

wag1987 · 10/04/2021 16:10

@Willow1982 I wish it did, I've had lots of announcements after my MC and each one felt like a knife. When I was pregnant a close friend said to me I had a dream that you would be pregnant along with 2 other people she named and since my MC both these other girls have become pregnant and I'm not anymore. But trying to stay positive that my time will come.

Has anyone got success stories using SMEP, I'm trying that this cycle

SuzieDeLaTour · 10/04/2021 17:40

Hi ladies!! Wow so many messages to catch up on and new BFPs!! 🎉🎉 @Neady1980 amazing news - you are literally defying the odds!! So happy for you ❤️ @AlbiMix congratulations- that’s a very strong positive! It’s natural to feel worried, you’ve been through an emotional rollercoaster and a New pregnancy brings with it lots of anxiety. You need to just take each day as it comes - I think @AMS19 suggestion of working through milestones is great way to do it. I’ll definitely be following that advice if my time comes (fingers crossed!!) xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 10/04/2021 18:17

@TheDaydreamBelievers amazing news about your test results! Really happy for you - time to get cracking on that rainbow baby 😘 x

TheHotelCalifornia · 10/04/2021 18:39

Hey girls! Sorry I haven’t checked in for a couple of days, I’ve been back on the post-pill thread to try and calm my anxiety a bit. I’m currently 10DPO and trying not to think about how I’m feeling too much which is very challenging. I’ve had AF cramps the last few days but also needle-like cramps on my left hand side. Not going to test until Monday or Tuesday I don’t think as my post MC cycle AF came on 12 DPO. So just going to try and wait and see. Happy Saturday everyone, I hope everyone’s doing okay xxxxx

@thedaydreambelievers I’m so so happy for you guys. Such good news and means you can hopefully just focus on the future with the rest of us now. Welcome back to the game xxx

@neady1980 ahhhh congratulations darling I’m so happy for you!!! Such fantastic news. I hope you’re doing okay xxx

@Badlydrawngirly I’m really sorry to hear about your results and I totally understand why you’re feeling the way you feel. I would try to focus on the fact that your consultant said it’s okay and don’t let your mind tell you otherwise. It sounds like you’re being very pragmatic and I think you should be really proud of yourself for that. Sending you so much love and hoping you do get your miracle sooner rather than later. Please keep checking in and talking to us as we’re here to help xxx

@willow1982 oh lovely it’s so hard isn’t it, when Zoella announced her pregnancy I honestly had a full breakdown. Hope you’re okay and sending so much love xxxxx

@Albimix I totally understand where you’re coming from and I think every single one of us will feel the same/are feeling the same. All I can say is please keep checking in here with us and we can do our best to support you through it. Don’t ever feel bad for feeling negative – your feelings are completely valid and normal and it’s going to be a tough journey navigating them. But try to focus on the fact that at this moment you are pregnant, and how absolutely fantastic that is 😊 @AMS19 also has some great advice re: symptoms – I think as hard as it’s going to be, just trying not to think about how you’re feeling is the only way you’re going to get through these next few weeks. But CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sending so much love xxxxx

@TheHotelCalifornia my query is... when will you crack and test?

justwant2beamum · 10/04/2021 22:29

Ahh gentle congrats @Neady1980 and @AlbiMix ✨ hoping for a happy outcome for you both 🤞🏻✨ can only imagine how it must feel, I want it to happen so badly and at the same time dread it as I know what worry it will bring! I've had so many pregnancy announcements, and my childhood best friend (don't speak to now, just drifted apart but have her on fb) is due 6 days after I was 🥺

Ralala · 11/04/2021 06:55

Congratulations @AlbiMix and @Neady1980. Hoping it’s a sticky bean for you.

Quick question. I’m cd12. Usually ovulate about cd15-17 as I have longer cycles. Cycles have been even longer since MC. This is my second proper cycle. I did an opk last night cd11 and got a line. It looks fainter than control line and pre mom says low. It’s one step brand. Sooooo does this mean my LH will build up over the next few days ? We DTD every other day from cd10 anyway so cd12 is one of our days .... oh the romance !

AlbiMix · 11/04/2021 12:09

@SuzieDeLaTour @TheHotelCalifornia @justwant2beamum @Ralala thank you so much for your encouragement ❤️ I'm not telling anyone I know (apart from OH) about this pregnancy yet as I'm too scared, so to have the support of you all on here is just amazing.

Sorry if sharing BFP news here is upsetting for anyone, I hope instead that it gives everyone hope that they will get their BFP soon. It's such a rollercoaster we're all on.

@TheHotelCalifornia good luck! I cracked early and tested 3 times Grin

@ralala my second cycle post MC (when I've had this BFP) I used the cheap one step ovulation tests and they were quite faint (I was told by other ladies this is normal as they're cheapos). I got negatives for a few days and then a super faint line so I thought maybe it was a hint the surge was coming. The next two days I got much darker lines so assumed ovulation had happened and BFP confirms it was right, but they still weren't mega dark. Other ladies recommended easy@home tests which I will use in future if I MC again..

Sending positive vibes to everyone and hope you're having a sunny weekend!

KJLM · 11/04/2021 12:29

Congratulations @AlbiMix !! Lovely news!! It’s totally expected to be anxious but like everyone has said with each milestone that passes hopefully it provides you with some reassurance. Take time now to relax and do things that distract you from worrying any more than you need to!

Neady1980 · 11/04/2021 13:01

Thanks ladies for your support, @Albimix like you I'm not telling anyone, and just taking each day as it comes. Dreading going to the loo though that's the only time my anxiety really kicks in but thankfully no sign of AF even though I was due yesterday. Ah I'm super excited to see who is next to get their BFP, I'm keeping everything crossed for you all xx

Ralala · 11/04/2021 13:51

Thanks @AlbiMix. Definitely the start of something but planning on DTD every other day just in case! Xxx

Mellous · 11/04/2021 14:05

Congrats @AlbiMix and @Neady1980!!

@TheHotelCalifornia your chart is looking good!! Temps staying nice and high!

I’m 8dpo and stupidly tested with a frer this morning. BFN of course. I feel really fed up. xx

justwant2beamum · 11/04/2021 17:13

@Ralala I used to use the one step ones and nearly thought I wasn't ovulating because of them, I never got a "positive" with them (line as dark as control) - attached from January where I fell pg so definitely ovulated - I marked it as peak myself on Premom it only ever read them as low and I was down wondering if I was ovulating.
I also recommend the easy at home that's what I'm using now I'll also attach current cycle to show difference. One step had me thinking I wasn't ovulating or had low LH or something!
