@glowingtwig oh lovely ❤❤ it's great you are moving in the right direction. Just take it day by day and feel proud of yourself and how far you've come. I cant imagine how frustrating waiting that long will be, be kind to yourself. I do believe we will look back in a couple of years and everything that felt like a lifetime wouldn't feel that long. Sending you so much love xx

I was thinking that too @AMS19 that one day we will look back at this thread and remember all the pain we went through and look at our babies and think 'THIS is what it was all for'. And hopefully some of us on this thread will chink glasses having a nice drink next to the Thames with our prams in tow ☺️

Oh I hope this happens so much 💕

AMS19 · 30/03/2021 20:12

@glowingtwig we are doing that wine of the Thames! We've said it from the start, I'm determined! X

@AMS19 thanks for the tag ❤️ I've been keeping my distance from MN a bit and I'll be honest it's really helped my mental health! I'm not nearly so obsessive with my thinking about pregnancy and miscarriage etc. I'm really sad to say that as MN and you guys were so so helpful to me through such a hard period and I'm sorry I'm not around as much to support you all!

I've been suffering with quite a bad bladder infection over the past week. I've been on one course of antibiotics which have failed and I'm currently having a 2 day break from the antibiotics while they test my urine and see if it's an antibiotic resistant strain. I'll be honest the antibiotics have made me feel like utter shit (constant and debilitating nausea) so I'm really glad to have a break!

Got my scan on Thursday at 4.15pm. I'll be 6+6 hopefully 🤞🏻 had no bleeding or spotting and I've had all the pregnancy symptoms so I'm cautiously optimistic! If all goes well we'll be sharing the news with family over the Easter weekend (currently only our mums know!). And will hopefully have lab results back on Thursday too and a new treatment plan for this bladder infection!

AMS19 · 30/03/2021 20:42

@LauraT94 good to hear you're well. Sorry to tag and bring you back here! Keeping your distance is definitely best but obviously thinking about you. Please do pop back and let us know how you're getting on, I'll be thinking of you and keeping absolutely everything crossed. The bladder sounds rubbish! Really hope it gets sorted soon. Lots of love xx

@AMS19 that's so good to hear you've not had any spotting this cycle. Really hoping that perfect egg makes its appearance soon for you 💕 How are you feeling?

Really nice to hear you have been in touch with dippyegg. Really been hoping she is okay over the last few days.

I'm starting to feel a lot better in myself thanks. Deciding to stop taking tests has drastically decreased my stress levels and feeling like I'm allowing myself to relax into things a bit more had really helped. Saying that, today I went for a walk and came back and had the tiniest bit of spotting today, but decided not to overanalyze things and just take each day as it comes. Currently the milestones I'm looking towards is reaching 6 weeks as then can register and I've booked in a scan for 8 weeks exactly, I just moved it up a few days today actually as it was initially 7+5 and just felt it was too close to the date I had the mc and just felt I want this to be separate but didn't want to do it any earlier in case there is any ambiguity. I'm only 4+5 currently so still a little wait but think with the bank holiday weekend and it turning to Spring now time will go quickly. I did join a due date month specific thread on mn, but finding it too overwhelming to be on there as sadly I just don't feel I have the same hope and excitement as others on there that I had first time around, but accepting that's okay and that although this is always going to be a scary time there will still be those happy moments.

LauraT94 · 30/03/2021 20:44

@AMS19 don't apologise at all!! It's lovely that you thought of me ❤️

Happy to pop back on every now and then and will definitely pop back on after my scan to let you all know ❤️

Pettylamby · 30/03/2021 20:56

Hello @SuzieDeLaTour and @AMS19!

Thanks for checking in! Like @LauraT94 I've been laying low off MN but been reading through the thread every couple of days!

I have my scan on Thursday at 9am when I'll be 6+6 - in two minds about it if I'm honest! My symptoms have really ramped up since I hit 6 weeks with bad nausea and I was actually sick one day, I never got to this stage last time so I'm taking comfort in that but also know that symptoms can mean nothing!

Lots of aches, cramps and stabbing pains and I'm trying not to over analyse everything but it's really hard.

Really hoping for a good outcome on thursday because in all honestly I can't face going back to where I was in December again! 😬

Will know either way soon tho...

glowingtwig · 30/03/2021 21:08

Good luck with your scans @Pettylamby @LauraT94 💕 you're doing so well getting through each day and soon you'll get that reassurance from the scans.

I hope this helps but with DD I was terrified after the early mc I'd had and as soon as I started feeling her move it all seemed so much calmer. Xx

Pettylamby · 30/03/2021 21:12

@PlantMummy87 I feel exactly the same as you about the other birth club threads... Have read a few but everyone is too excited and I just can't be around that at the moment! Literally taking each day at a time! Since I had the bleeding at the start and a bit of spotting I'm even more terrified of the scan, had convinced myself the other day I was having an ectopic as had an achey shoulder! It obviously went away the next day and is probs just cos my boobs doubled in size but can't help but panic over the smallest thing!

SuzieDeLaTour · 30/03/2021 21:35

@glowingtwig aww your vicar sounds lovely. I’m glad that you’ve found supportive caring voices. You’ve gone through so much in such a short space of time, be kind to yourself and take each day as it comes. Definitely want that vino on the Thames with you ladies at some point - hopefully when this pain is all a distant memory x
@LauraT94 oh gosh your infection sounds awful you poor thing. I hope they manage to get it sorted and good luck for Thursday - will be so lovely to tell your family over Easter x
@AMS19 that’s lovely you spoke to dippyegg, I’m glad she’s doing ok. I hope you’re ok too - what a pain if your ovulation date changes but then maybe it will be a lucky egg!! 🤞
@Pettylamby sounds like everything is going as it should at your end. Good luck on Thursday, have everything crossed for your little sticky bean x

AMS19 · 31/03/2021 06:49

@PlantMummy87 the not spotting is great, but the temps are all over the place so hormones are still not settled at all. Plus ovulation is delayed. It's like 1 foot forward to 2 steps back at the moment. I've all but given hope of it happening without some form of intervention now, I just can't see it happening naturally. I am tempted to try Chinese medicine next cycle to see if that helps. I'm landing to only track everything for one more cycle then stop tracking over the summer and start again in autumn. Obviously will keep trying, but be more relaxed over the summer and just have sex when we want.
That all sounds really positive. You're doing the right thing focusing on what you feel comfortable with but also allowing yourself to take small pleasures and try to focus on what will be will be.

@Pettylamby oh wow its going so quickly. I am glad you have the scan so soon so you can get some clarity. I tell you what, if baby is okay (and I have absolutely everything crossed they will be) what an absolute little trouper! Definitely meant to be here for sure. All those twinges and cramps sound very normal. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow and waiting for your update!

@SuzieDeLaTour It is a pain but I'm more concerned about not ovulating at all than it being late. Just hope it still happens!

Half way through the week and amazing weather! We are getting there girls xx

Good morning Cd36 for me but I think AF might come today. Heavy , achey tummy this morning.

@AMS19 I’m still the same. Hormones haven’t settled at all. I’m having night sweats which is just lovely! GP said to go back at 3 months so I have another couple of weeks to hit that point t although not sure what the gp can do to be honest

DMT1982 · 31/03/2021 07:48

Hey girls. I think it’s the same my end as well things still settling. Think I ovulated around day 18 and I’m two days late now but we’ve been using protection so I’m not pregnant. It just shows that our bodies are still adjusting which is frustrating as like you all I just want my regular cycle back and know where I’m at. Xxx

Seasalt1984 · 31/03/2021 07:54

@ams19 thanks so much for checking in. I'm doing ok thanks... this might sound a bit strange, after initial excitement and worry I think I'm slightly in denial at the moment. I'm feeling fairly calm but I think that's because it doesn't feel real. We've booked an early scan at 8 weeks and arranged booking appointment with MW, and feels positive to have some little goals to aim for. We're also moving house mid April which is a really good distraction! My symptoms are minimal but still very early days.

@LauraT94 @Pettylamby @PlantMummy87 wishing you all so much luck with your early scans, keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🤞🤞

xxx

yepstilltrying · 31/03/2021 08:33

@PlantMummy87 @Pettylamby @LauraT94 Good luck with the scans!

I'm in a really similar position to you. I have a scan tomorrow too, will be 5+6. I had one on Monday and they saw the sac but no heartbeat, which I know is normal but still stresses me they didn't see it. Since the weekend my RHR has fallen from 76 to 71 so I am worrying, and my boobs don't hurt that much any more. I am scrutinising my fitbit for when I was pregnant with DS and I think it did the same then but doesn't stop me thinking about it!

DMT1982 · 31/03/2021 08:54

Good luck with everyone’s scans xxxx

Jujujuberry · 31/03/2021 09:05

Hi Ladies,
I think I am 7 dpo, and today when I wiped I had a few tiny pin pricks of pink on the paper. I’ve never had IB but wonder if this could be?

Also, I got my blood results back & my GP has said that I have some genetic irregularities, I don't really understand, but I think, it means I have a higher percentage of having a MC... I’m still confused, he was absolutely lovely to my husband and I but I feel so scared for the future.. He is going to refer us to a geneticist & fertility clinic. He said we have no problem getting pregnant, but I just feel a bit hopeless and robbed of that excited experience when getting a bfp, because I could have another MC

TheDaydreamBelievers · 31/03/2021 11:01

Hello all, sorry I've been v absent from the boards. No updates here as not really TTC but I'm 1) waiting for my APS bloods results next week and 2) my GP is referring me again for the fertility clinics because I seem to ovulate very irregularly. They're also sending me for bloods again next week (thyroid, hormones, androgens).

@Jujujuberry I'm so sorry to hear there might be something underlying MC for you. I think we can all resonate with not being able to be excited about BFPs in the future.

AMS19 · 31/03/2021 11:01

@yepstilltrying best of luck!

@Jujujuberry definitely could be IB! Although I had that last cycle and wasn't pregnant, but think that was unusual and more likely IB. Really sorry on the testing result, that's really tough and can completely understand why you are concerned. I find it so hard when you get a result but no answers or support for what it means. Hopefully clarity will show you everything can be okay for you in a future pregnancy

Jujujuberry · 31/03/2021 11:39

@TheDaydreamBelievers It’s really good your getting blood tests done, I felt really upset when I got my results, but also knowledge is power and it means that you can move on to the next steps in your journey. Sorry you may be ovulating irregularly, but the fertility clinic will be able to help. Urgh I know its like if we can all just get past the 12weeks after our bfp’s things might start to feel better :)

@AMS19 oh I think I remember you saying you had spotting last cycle, so could be the same for me! I’ve been temping this month and last 7days have been around 36.5 - so not that high I dont think.. Who knows what our bodies are doing, its a complete mind f* 🤔

Do you ladies sometimes feel isolated from the rest of society? This fertility journey is so isolating.. but I want to say I’m soo grateful for this thread and chatting to you all, its helped me so much. Also the worst girl gang pod cast someone on here recommended is great!!

SuzieDeLaTour · 31/03/2021 11:49

@Jujujuberry could definitely be an IB! Fingers crossed 🤞 I’m sorry to hear about your blood results, must be so frustrating not being able to make sense of it. Are you able to speak to your GP again now you’ve had time to process things? When they first say things, it can come as a bit of a shock and you don’t always ask the questions you want answers to later on. Hopefully your referral comes through quickly XX

Jujujuberry · 31/03/2021 11:54

@glowingtwig it sounds like you have alot of great support around you at the moment, its so important to have those special people in your life to help you through these tough times! I also totally understand watching animals and nature reproduce makes me feel melancholy, like how come it seems so easy for some and a struggle for others. Anyways, onwards and upwards!

Jujujuberry · 31/03/2021 12:01

@SuzieDeLaTour I was just sitting there a bit stunned, but luckily my husband was listening and taking it all in. He has been so positive and he explained to me after that most people have a 99% chance of carrying to full term but we have a less chance at 65%.. but I guess thats better than nothing. Your right, hopefully the specialist will be able to help and soon.. it sounds pretty dismal when I type it, but Im going to remain positive and have faith xxx

justwant2beamum · 31/03/2021 13:48

@Jujujuberry sorry about your results - hope they are able to give you some clarity/guidance on the way forward.

I got AF today, so my first "real" period post ERPC which was 5th March so today was CD27 for me. Before mc I was 28/29 days so hopefully I'll go back to fairly normal. I didn't catch ovulation on opks post ERPC so I don't know if I did or not. I only stopped bleeding from ERPC on 17th which was 2 weeks ago - has anyone else bled so quick?
