Ok so we need to get back to us ladies, back to fun games, POAS & getting fit, but you need to help me Cos Minster is flagging with a fuck boy body worse than the rest 🥺

Guess what...it’s nearly Easter & know what that means! 🐰🐣...We don’t want the 🐰to have the fun but bloody hell sometimes it’s a f*cling egg hunt all right 🙈🤣.

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far- feel free to have a catch up on those and add your own.

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

Just wanted to get in on the sandwich/toast chat. We recently got a new deep fill toasty machine and loving it. Your toastie @minster2012 looked amazing - love me a baby gerkin!!! Has anyone tried a sweet/dessert toastie? I love cooked apple, cinnamon & sprinkle of brown sugar as a breakfast toastie - used to have it lot in uni. bloody lush.
Im defo on the avo on toast bandwagon - tbh im an avo on anything kinda game... chuck it on pretty much anything and it takes it up a notch :p

Had breakfast in a cafe a couple of years ago I still think about cause it was so yum - fresh mini naan with crushed avocado, poached egg, mango chutney, chili and a bit of sourcream. So delicious!

@Minster2012 with two dogs and a toddler you could amass A LOT of poo to send to this twat of a friend! What a hag. OH and I used to live in one of FILs flats and he said we could buy it off of him for 250k back in 2013. Except he kept stringing us along whilst thinking about it, raised it to 270k and then it turned out he'd never spoken to his Mrs about it who vetoed it 😅. It was a crazy year in London property wise so in the time we'd been waiting for this to happen, 1 bed flats had literally gone up in price by like 100k...

@Dollybird89 I'm so pleased! It turns out well priced for us too and makes me try things id never think to cook otherwise which makes a nice change!

I was bullied by my boss at work once, a lady who lived in a nice village in Oxfordshire, member of the WI etc etc - I used to fantasise about having a whole lorry of horse manure or silage dumped on what I imagined to be a lovely front lawn!

Mmm also an avo fan here! And a sandwich fan, DH is much better at them than me as he's more exact whereas in all slapdash. I got a bit obsessed by the Hellman's baconnaise recently but am on a ban from buying it!

Slight diversion so sorry to put your off your cornichons but OMG I actually think that acupuncture might have fixed me, pre DS (conceived Sept 2019) I had medium-heavy periods and used super tampons at the start of my period. Since my periods returned I've had really light periods, barely even enough for a light tampon most of the time. Guess what I need today?! A super tampon! Weird thing to celebrate but I am!! It feels possible that I could get pregnant!! 🥳

@Sausage1990 and all you other pregnant girls, definitely don't want you to feel unwelcome or anything! For me it's not the pregnancy chat as such more just the shifting balance and feeling like god I'm still ttc when so many have succeeded...like being picked last for a team 😂 but in saying that it can't be easy for you girls feeling like you have to censor yourselves or be so mindful of who might be sensitive to what. I'm sure a subthread would liberate you from that 😃

@larrythelizard do you know what I thought the same, I've just had a 6 day period and thought OMG if i could actually ovulate then JESUS that's one fluffy bush for it to nestle in 🤪(ok the last weeks stresses have meant I've basically downed a cellar of wine but tomorrow is another day!) but glitterbombs ooooo that sinister and funny!

@Katao you've phrased it so well. It could be like a subgroup so we don't unintentionally overwhelm the group with too much pregnancy chat and that we also don't upset anyone who's having a tough time. I definitely get what you mean with the tipping balance. I also wondered if newbies would be less keen to get involved if they see a fair whack of pregnancy chat when this is on the ttc forums. I know our chats have moved beyond that but having been in ttc, pregnancy then loss phases of this journey I know how up & down it can be and how some days too much pregancy chat make it feel too much. 💕😘

First scan complete! Measuring bang on dates (7+0) with a fast heartbeat. OB was more positive this time vs last time when the heartbeat was slower and it was measuring a week behind.

I realise now how extremely stressed out I was after the MMC in October. Feeling very relieved

Some of these sandwich combos are quite shocking. Though, the only sandwich I used to eat (until the age of 21) was black forest ham on a roll with no sauces. Nowadays I would do terrible things for a steak sandwich with rocket and aioli. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

@Minster2012 Where do people even get the balls to do things like that? Even more so when there is a mutual acquaintance. Impressed your MIL gave them hell though. Not going to lie - I always think your house looks so nice when there are glimpses of it on your insta stories.

@Sausage1990 I like your idea of a little sidecar on the pregnancy board. I don't want to leave this group (I read everything even though I'm not great with posting) but don't want to spam it with things that might make others feel low or bad. It would be the absolute worst for people not to receive the amazing support this group offers because they are uncomfortable with loads of bump chat.

All the food talk made me go to bed with a rumbling tummy last night 😋

@Minster2012 wow she sounds like a witch, so sorry you've been treated that way but the poo sounds a good idea, maybe MIL will help? But Bovril on toast? I'm mortified 😂 DH and family are from Yorkshire but I've never heard of that one.

Morning all

I don't know who it was that asked about acupuncture sorry!! But actually I'm starting to feel like it is really doing something..! I've done four weekly sessions and then I am going to do a couple of every other week then maybe once a month.
The last couple of days I've noticed a significant increase in my energy levels, mood and motivation... whether that is related or not I don't know but it feels like it could be. Won't jinx myself yet but if I carry on feeling these benefits I'll be over the moon!
Interestingly like @larrythelizard I also have very light short periods and a lot of what she says she is working on is like nourishing the body. So I am interested to see what my period is like this month!
Anyway for anyone wanting something to give a try, I'd recommend giving it a go! But you want somebody that is properly qualified and not a got it off the internet type !! I think there is a college of acupuncturist website you can search for proper ones...

@Sausage1990 it's so kind of you to suggest another thread, I do see where you are coming from and actually I do think in a way another just prego thread might help those that feel a bit uncomfortable BUT not on the proviso you all leave 😂 I do understand what you mean and I think if / when I fall pregnant I would feel the same! Equally I am lucky to have DD so maybe feel it less than some of our other ladies 💕

When I was pregnant first time round I had an obsession with pastrami and sweet cucumbers and mustard... I hate mustard usually!
I'd definitely go for @Minster2012 over @Hopeful110 sandwich though!

OH woke up at half 5 with a huge nosebleed, he's now snoring and I couldn't sleep so went downstairs and did the coffee and just waiting for DD to wake up. Enjoying a coffee in bed.,, what the fuck is this sorcery??? Two days in a row I've been up before DD who gets up at 6.30😂

@Vil10 funny you should say that, he actually asked me if I'm actually pregnant 🙄 I mean.... how can I answer that? So I showed him the tests and he said yeah the 1st one is defo there but the others are so faint he would say negative. Tbh we have briefly talked about the results and think its a mmc, I still have no AF but ic are stark white... so yeah...I think we are back to ttc and tracking. Hopefully my backache etc goes away though! It's torture. Xx

Question please, anyone who's had a mmc, did you all get AF first? Or ovulate again before AF? Some stuff I've read says you can ovulate before you actually have AF after a mmc :/ not sure what to believe? And my temp dropped again today too. Xx

@larrythelizard just saw your update about period being stronger.... yayyy to that!! So does acupuncture really help? I know you and @blackcurrantqueen do it don't you? Can it help with pcos xx

@Hopeful110 Sorry, I also just saw your question re:MMC and ovulation. After I had my MMC and things ended naturally I went in for a scan a week later and the OB made a comment about seeing my ovary preparing to release an egg. I had not had a period so it does seem that ovulation can happen after a MMC/MC and before your next period.

@TTCAbroad ahhh so it's literally a fried egg, and 2 pieces of toast buttered and then squish the egg in between the slices so the yolk splurts and drips out for a bit of dipping haha! Oh has brown sauce in it too 🤢 lol. Ohhh so it is possible then?? Better start my CB digi opks just incase then. I was so hopeful this egg would stick (not the toastie one 😜) but I guess it wasn't ment to be this month. Xx

@Hopeful110 OK, take away the brown sauce, and that sounds pretty tasty. I feel like Brits have an excellent array stodgy breakfast options👌🏻When I first found out that a bacon sandwich (bacon+butter+toast) was a legitimate food item my mind was blown... Then proceed to eat them every Friday at work coughhungovercough

I do think it's possible - get those strips out and find that egg!

@hopeful110 You should expect a bleed before you ovulate again. When your body recognises the pregnancy isn't viable you'll bleed and then you will start your next cycle. Some people ovulate again sooner than others but I would have your opk tests until after you've had a bleed if i were you.

@ttcabroad a toastie is a toasted sandwich. You can make one like a sandwich an just toast it 1st or you can get a machine that's a bit like a waffle maker, and you put filling between the bread which then seals all the way around... Like crunchie on the outside, pockets of delicious warm filling in the middle 😍

@TTCAbroad yeah we have random breakfast choices lol! Although I have to say I've never had avocado on toast... it seems a popular option with the other girls so may have to try it lol. What's the craziest combo breakfast you have had? I auifd like a sausage and bacon sandwich or toastie 😋 making myself hungry now lol.
And yeah il have to get them out and order more for the next month! Hopefully its not gonna be another 132 days til ovulation xx

@Hopeful110 I have always had bleeding / D&C and then had normal cycle but a bit longer than usual, circa 5 weeks instead of 4!

I am so hungry reading all the toast, avocado, egg combos...that with bacon is my favourite....yummy....
