Ok so we need to get back to us ladies, back to fun games, POAS & getting fit, but you need to help me Cos Minster is flagging with a fuck boy body worse than the rest 🥺

Guess what...it’s nearly Easter & know what that means! 🐰🐣...We don’t want the 🐰to have the fun but bloody hell sometimes it’s a f*cling egg hunt all right 🙈🤣.

March and April we’ve got a lot of exciting times ahead with people going for Clomid & IVF as well as a lot of straight up sex for the “normal” TTC gang so let’s get shagging & FIND THOSE 🐣🌈.

We are still working on our spring challenges alongside trying to get pregnant and we’ve had great results so far- feel free to have a catch up on those and add your own.

And we are still helping each other get fitter, more positive through sharing small changes we are making in our lives and trying to inspire & support each other with these too...as well as of course being there for each other during the sad times.

@Sausage1990 I do that and compare against my 2 positives every cycle 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don't know why I do it because they're all the same symptoms I've had and you just torture yourself. I'm actually going to try and make a conscious effort not to this month 🙈 hoping for you for Monday's ladies @Haiyaa be strong!

Of another embarrassing story which I don't actually find that embarrassing anymore and we all laugh about it ...

Because OH and I were together in high school then didn't see each other for a couple of years his dad already knew me as he lived with his dad so when we went up to his i always saw his dad and he always says he really liked me. Anyway one of the first times I went up to his house again when we started seeing each other again was after a night out and we were both naked in his bed, his dad comes home from the pub and opens the door and says who the hell have you got under there and my OH says "oh it's Lucy" and his dad proceeded to say "na fuck off its not" obviously because we hadn't seen each other for a few years and then pulled the covers right up 🤣😫 why he felt the need to check who it was anyway I have no idea but to then be greeted with me naked 😂🤣

I've got so many embarrassing stories it hurts! Obviously there's one on my blog from first date with DH (that he's only just found out about) breaking the toilet in the pub where we had our first date, leaving nastiness AND a broken handle for someone to find (I have poo medical issues 😝) and I also had a horribly embarrassing period incident when I was about 17 on holiday and I jumped into a swimming pool got out and someone then pointed out my bikini bottoms had come awry, and not only was my tampon STRING hanging out but half my tampon was hanging out too, it was then pointed out by a friends mum very loudly and everyone stopped to look at me and my minge.

Thank you everyone. Took last night off. Kinda had to I was a mess after AF arrived not quietly, oh no. Full force, writhing cramps straight away. Meatily! Thinking I could help myself with wine & celebrity circle on my iPad whilst DH watched top gear I had already seen 4od wasn't working so I went onto iplayer. Big mistake. There was a programme on surrogacy. Real people, real episodes, people should watch it, it was both fascinating & heartbreaking for me having been in that situation & for a lot of us in similar situations it talked about ivf STILL in quite "it will work" ways. And there was heartbreaking stuff. I was a mess of tears so DH said "love stop watching that, bake off's on" and we had to google how old is Kelly Holmes Cos bloody hell she's fit for her age 😝

Anyway. Gotta call the clinic today see what the craic is.

@Lililou im sorry to see you back here, my friend who had an ectopic many years ago & has one tube just took 2 cycles to get pregnant with a CP on her first🤞🏻

To everyone else hugs 🤗and do we think I actually ovulated if my period was 2 days later than I thought it should have been??? Ooo conundrums 🤔

@lililou welcome to the thread lovely 😊 I'm so sorry to hear about your loss & losing one of your tubes. These girls are super supportive so you've found a good bunch to join on this journey. Keep faith darling that you will have your rainbow 🌈 a friend of mine had a similar experience to you with an ectopic pregnancy and lost one of her tubes... A few months ago she gave birth to fraternal twins, a boy & girl, which were convinced naturally without assistance!!! Even tho she only had 2 tube she still released 2 eggs! The human body is amazing so don't lose hope! Xx

@bez91 ohh I'm so glad I'm not alone in that. Yesterday I was like well i had a headache & migraine at 6dpo & 7dpo on that cycle so my head being bad today maybe a good sign 🙈 but I've also had them pre af and around ovulation so there's so pattern really. I mens I don't tend to have them in the TWW usually but i have. It's not a sign woman - take a chill pill!!! (this is me saying to myself, not at you in a fairly aggressive manner ahaha)

@Minster2012 I've got bad cramps too. It's bound to make a bad situation feel extra shit. Its miserable. Maybe your OH is right and you need to stay away from the tv programmes. I do find it bizarre that that make out these things are so easy. I actually had a good chat with DH last week. But I had to set him straight. He was under the impression that IVF (or any other help) equals instant baby. And had no idea the stats are not that high. I've set him straight now but why on earth it's portrayed that way I'll never know!
@DKDK123 I think I manage to move a reasonable amount because of the dog and horses. Otherwise I literally would be sat on my arse all day. I struggle with incentive to move. Especially if I'm feeling low or this week with bloody AF and cramps.

@lucyrp that’s really made me laugh this morning “nah fuck off it’s not” I can really imagine it!

@Minster2012 sounds like you really needed a night off, glad you took some time for yourself. The first day of AF is always horrible but it’s especially heartbreaking in a situation like yours with so much hope/emotion pinned on it! Hope you’re feeling better today.

@Lililou so sorry to hear about your loss.

I’m CD29, due on tomorrow and had been feeling really hopeful with high temps (36.7/8 up until today) but this morning BBT absolutely plummeted to 36.3 so I think I’m out. Now the cramps have started so I’m just waiting for Cycle 9 to begin. Looking forward to starting acupuncture!

@paintfairy sorry I’m sure you must have already talked about it but the bus moves so fast! Were you prescribed progesterone by your GP? As I’ve said before my LP is only 8 days, really hoping the acupuncture will lengthen it but if not I’m hoping my GP can prescribe progesterone as I think that’s the problem.

@Asthenia my lp is standard length but I spot. The gp was never interested- I went in 2019 with it. But now I've got my fertility referral- they gave me some to try. It did work. But whether the issue is really egg related/early ovulation, I've no idea.

@paintfairy ahh I see! I’m glad it worked at least even if you’re not completely sure that’s the issue. It’s so interesting but also SO frustrating how many factors there are in our reproductive systems that means things could go wrong. Hopefully more answers for you with investigations!

@Asthenia the progesterone is definitely the issue. But the progesterone comes from the corpus luteum. So if there's an issue with that- then the issue is really at the beginning of the cycle. Possibly supporting the progesterone on its own might work. Only trialling that would tell. But it might not be enough if everything else just isn't good enough. The whole thing is just far too complex. 🤣 Why can't my body just work? 🙄

There is a surrogacy thing on BBC late tonight if anyone is interested.

@Asthenia & @wicketbasket we had my son through a surrogacy arrangement with my best friend btw when I was on chemo that's why I'm interested as no one knows much about it 🤪

Finally on the new bus and enjoying the embarrassing stories 😂 I was definitely mortified at my fertility appointment yesterday when I had to have an internal exam whilst on my period 🙈 ew. Had more bloods done, hsg lined up and sa for OH so lots going on and will be called back in a few weeks to discuss results so feel like something is happening at last.
Will try to catch up fully later hope everyone is ok.

Amazing news @Minster2012! Moving forward is great! I've just got off the phone to my IVF clinic and I'm now really confused. Yesterday he wanted me to go off this cycle and I was the one almost in two minds almost begging to see what happens first on my scan Monday and if I have to abstain anyway to start now but now the nurse said he's said that to only do this cycle if I have more than 2 follicles on the Clomid if not, go next cycle 🤷🏽‍♀️ So now my life is all up in the air again until Monday 😭
