6 days late, not like the first time ! Any one else?

Hi everyone!
So I am 6 days late! Had bad af cramps like usual and a lot of extra cf for m 4 days at time of af due! But nothing happened. I have done some test thought could see something faint at start but not convinced now as can’t see anything. Very unlike me to be late!
With my first, I tested day before af was due and there was a strong clear line instantly but did have several hyperemisis untill the min she was born.
Could I be pregnant this time, with it being so different! Going a little crazy!

@gigchic I’m really sorry the test was negative, was hopeful for you. It’s great you’ve had a good experience with your Dr tho and he’s being so thorough, that’s amazing.

I don’t think my doctor will be anywhere near as good. I did try to call earlier, they said they’re too busy to give an appointment or phone consult and to try again next week!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 oh wow that's quite a difference to my surgery. How annoying for you! I went on the Livi app first of all- not sure if your surgery is supported by that service? GP consult over video call. Handy at home. We live in Cornwall so maybe less pressure on the surgery... x

@caz1319 true! I've learnt so much this first month of trying I really hope I can remain much more chilled out this time! I can't cope with all that stress again! 😬🤯

@gigchic .... it’s so hard to switch it off isn’t it. Go with the flow and enjoy all the sex 😂

@caz1319 ha ha definitely! And I have no idea what my cycles doing now so it's gona be a few weeks of regular sex just incase! Damn it! 😂😂👏🤪

Yes to being around to try again!! What're we doing? I've ordered a thermometer, soy isoflavones, Proceive vitamins, and going for pomegranate juice also to thicken lining - basically throwing all at it that I can 😂😂😂
Any more tips let me know

@gigchic Sorry to hear about your negative test result. Its good that you've got such a brilliant doctor though!

Still no AF but the nausea has subsided a bit today which is nice. 7 days late now so I'm going to test first thing tomorrow morning. I hope you all have better luck with the next cycle!

@caz1319 I did, yes. Still negative and no signs of AF so I'm going to leave it a week and test again if no change. Very frustrating because if I'm not pregnant I just want AF to arrive so I can move on to the next cycle and try again. I think I'm just going to keep myself busy/distracted and try not to worry about it too much

@EagerToKnow what a pain! I think you'd be best trying to just carry on and see what happens. Easier said than done mind! Hopefully if symptoms not too bad then you can forget about it all for a bit 🤞 x

@gigchic I think so too. Thankfully the nausea has eased off a bit the last couple days so its quite easy to ignore and I spend 99% of my time with my 2 yo DD who definitely keeps me busy, hahah!

Its just so annoying not to have a definitive answer, isn't it? I've accepted that its most likely I'm not pregnant so I feel like I'm wasting time waiting for AF, but what else can you do. Whatever happens I'm just going to focus on enjoying my time with DP now we have a reliable sleeper and planning a few trips away over the summer.

I'm awful at remembering dates when it comes to my cycles and normally track everything on the calendar on my phone so I've asked DP to keep track of it for me so I'm not constantly working out how many days until I can test, when I'm due AF, how late I am etc and getting stressed from it all as that really doesn't help and could be contributing to my nausea. Fingers crossed we all have a spot of good luck soon!

@EagerToKnow that's a good idea to get your partner to keep track. My AF started when I rang doctors and ask for appointment Friday... Sod's law! But I was glad something was happening! I feel your pain!

@EagerToKnow you never know anyway, yours cld feasibly be a late ovulation. But your plan sounds good to ignore it!

@caz1319 I know, I feel like I'm not being relaxed about this at all now 🙈 just resenting any lost / wasted time or cycles, and I know its not healthy at all!! But I'm 36 and I want two, which is why I think I'm not being very chilled.

I'm on CD4 now, second day of soy, will do SMEP plan this month again and 🤞

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I've just turned 38 and want two really as well so I know how you are feeling! Plus if I don't conceive by September then I won't have maternity leave as my PhD scholarship ends next year. 😬🤯🤪.

That's awesome you're doing a phd scholarship, but yup see that it adds an additional layer of pressure with the timelines.

My partner and I are both staying in current jobs even though new offers have come along, because we want maternity and paternity leave. So its putting other areas on hold also.....ugh

My daughter is nearly 3 and I really didn’t want a too big age gap, each month I’m not pregnant is month bigger age gap! But am trying to ignore that at moment!

Looking forward to crazy symptom spotting again very soon 😂😂🤞🤞

I'm beyond stressed trying to figure my body out! So frustrating! Me and OH have been TTC since Jan. I was on the pill for 10 years and stopped at the start of December last year. I had 2 cycles of 22 days and now im on CD26 with no AF and BFN :(

I'm trying to convince myself i'm deffo not pregnant, but i just want AF to arrive! I've had mild cramps on and off for a week or so now. So keep thinking AF is on the way then nothing! I also had a huge wave of exhaustion on Monday, i slept through for 13 hours sunday night! And had no energy to even get out of bed! I have my sleepy days but this was really odd. (have also just moved house so could be that catching up with me lol)

I'm driving myself crazy with constantly second guessing every single twinge and symptom! :(

I've also been taking the seven seas TTC pills so no idea if they're doing anything or not!

Hi @Ivy99! I'm in the same boat, AF 11 days late now and various symptoms, most recent being tender boobs since yesterday morning. Its so frustrating isn't it?! I've been trying to relax a bit and keep myself distracted so I don't get too stressed but it's not easy. I last got BFN on Sunday so waiting until this Sunday to test again. Is this your first?

@caz1319 I'm the same with not wanting too much of an age gap. My sister and I were just under 3 years apart and that's what I'm aiming for, my daughter has just turned 2 so really feels like the pressure is on to conceive before she gets too much older.

@Ivy99 just s thought but when did you start taking the seven seas pills? I've heard a lot that they extend cycle length

@EagerToKnow it’s so frustrating! On my first proper cycle I was convinced I was pregnant as I had every symptom under the sun! So then told myself not to over think every single thing (way easier said that done!!) but this month I’ve only had the mild cramps here and there for the past week. So no idea what’s going on 😔

Yes this will be our first, I’m trying to stay chilled because I know it’s still really early days but it’s horrible to think we have no idea what our bodies are doing 😔

I think I’m going to wait until Saturday morning to test again if AF doesn’t arrive. That will be 28 days Saturday. I got my last BFN yesterday afternoon.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I started taking them at the start of Jan. This is exactly what I’m thinking as I’ve read a lot about that, but 22 days is too short I think so would be happy if they settled them around 27/28 days but I have no idea what else causes AF not to show up 🤷🏻‍♀️
