6 days late, not like the first time ! Any one else?

Hi everyone!
So I am 6 days late! Had bad af cramps like usual and a lot of extra cf for m 4 days at time of af due! But nothing happened. I have done some test thought could see something faint at start but not convinced now as can’t see anything. Very unlike me to be late!
With my first, I tested day before af was due and there was a strong clear line instantly but did have several hyperemisis untill the min she was born.
Could I be pregnant this time, with it being so different! Going a little crazy!

Hello @gigchic The waiting really is awful isn't it? What symptoms are you having? It's great that your Dr was so quick with booking a test. I have constant nausea as well and it's so annoying because nothing seems to make it better/worse. Fingers crossed for your blood test tomorrow!

@caz1319 It's less willpower and more just not keeping any tests in the house at the moment so they're not easily available, hahah. Do you have long before you have to return to work?

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 That bloating sounds awful, I hope it eases off soon! I'm not quite bloated but I have a weird heavy/full feeling today, almost like I have a really full bladder but that's definitely not the case

@EagerToKnow yeh I was surprised the doctor said straight away to do blood test. Good surprised! My symptoms leading up to AF we're pulling/ tight sensation in lower abdomen, nausea, peeing all the time, loss of appetite and I didn't even fancy a glass of cider so I knew something was up! 😂. These symptoms all kind of stopped 2 days after AF was due except being bloated and feeling a bit like AF cramps so I expected it to arrive. I was happy when spotting started yesterday but then over night it stopped again! Argh! Very confused and frustrated! As are most people on this feed I'm sure! Month 1 of ttc has been a roller coaster so far! Happy to hop off right now and start afresh 😂

@gigchic That definitely sounds frustrating. Do you ever get spotting a day or two before AF? I normally get spotting a couple days before. Still wouldn't explain why its so late and you've had symptoms for so long though. Hopefully the test tomorrow will shed some light for you!

@EagerToKnow we can re open on 12th April but lots to sort ready!

@gigchic do you think it could be implantation bleeding? Sounds around the right time.

I did talk to my mate today who is a nurse and she said with her second she didn’t get a positive until 2 weeks after her af was due, she felt very tired, kept needing the loo and went to have a beer and couldn’t face it, knew she was pregnant just had to wait for test to show up! So sounds promising for us all !

@EagerToKnow AF normally starts slow but doesn't take longer to get going so I was shocked this morning when I woke up to nothing over night. I was expecting the flood gates to have opened 😂. It's soooooo weird! And soooooo annoying! I'm having a gin this evening regardless I've decided! 🤪

Hmm I've just poured a small glass of wine, and I definitely can face it, so maybe that's me out 😂

That is interesting, I've read a few of the ones where people didn't get a positive test for one of their pregnancies for quite a while 🤞 I've also been on three different threads now over the last ten days where almost all of the ladies have either got their period now, or had a neg blood test sadly. Hoping this is a lucky thread!

@caz1319 if it is implantation bleeding the little dude has been having the grand tour of my uterus for the last week! I think I ovulated on the 16th feb (spotting). To be honest I haven't a clue what's going on now. So many different things could be going on I think I'm going to have to do the classic of wait and see! 🤯😭. Blood test will help narrow it down tomorrow at least.

@caz1319 @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Definitely interesting that you've both heard of ladies being in a similar situation and eventually getting a positive. Makes me wonder how accurate these pregnancy tests are! Fingers crossed this is the lucky thread!

I have heard that all the tests are so different too so depending on what one use and what time in cycle can make a difference.

Why this just be simple.

I bet there's quite a few women who don't get a positive test until a few weeks after because there's a few in these threads and then there will be loads who don't ever share the information too. I didn't spot at all over night but have done a little bit this morning. I literally feel like I'm broken! Body isn't playing by the rules at all! I'm hoping the nurse who does the blood test this morning might have some wise words...

Also a lot of people don't realise until later that they might be pregnant. Looking at my family and some close friends, it was accidents, and no symptoms until 7 odd weeks pregnant, when they took a test. Unless you're tracking, its easy to get caught up in life and not realise

I had a little light pink spot this morning too, and I think my period might be coming - crampy and backache

No wise words from the nurse unfortunately. Got to wait until tomorrow afternoon or maybe Monday for blood test result! 😂🤯. I still feel like my period is coming too but it's never ever been this slow to get going. Is anyone tracking their BBT? I used to do it as a form of contraception but started again now to predict ovulation.

I also had a thought that I've always taken milk thistle supplements to help PMS - it aids the liver to metabolise excess hormones. It's just occurred to me that maybe that's effecting the urine samples! 🙈

I think af is arriving. A lot of spotting and cramps 😞

Ah Caz sorry! I just popped on to update that mine is starting also. At least we can start afresh this month x

Still no sign of AF yet here, 5 days late now not including the day it was due but have had a bit of cramping early this morning so not sure if its on its way. I've ordered my tests now so will test Sunday morning if no AF

DP was speaking to a nurse he works with last night and he said his wife had the same thing a few years ago, late AF, negative tests and even negative bloods as well. It carried on for 2 months with all the symptoms of pregnancy but negative tests and bloods until they paid for a private scan and found she was almost 3 months pregnant. Really makes me wonder how accurate pregnancy tests are

Thank you. I've just ordered soy isoflavones to arrive tomorrow, so its a clean slate to start this month again. It really was the limbo for me for almost 2 weeks that was the main issue. Now I can do something again, I'm feeling better
