Would you say the 3rd test down was my peak? Seems to be getting lighter top one was today. These were alot brighter irl. The picture of one on its own was the third test down before it dryed. How many more days should I DTD? And when would I class 1dpo? Thanks 😁

@Confused678866 what about the zoo? If you have one near to you. Little ones always love the zoo. Ooh maybe I will get lucky then 🤣 I hate the heat and ever since I found out I was pregnant I am roasting! Even doing simple things I sweat so much I hate it 🙈 need to do something about it 🤣 I was actually going to ring the doctors before my positive test to get my hormones and stuff checked cos I'm just always hot it's not normal 🤔🤦 xx

Confused678866 · 25/08/2021 20:27

@Skl2021 Yes that's a good idea! We have a zoo literally 5 mins from us and it's pretty decent, I'll have to take him on one of my days off.
Oh yeah just mention it to the doctor! I think that's really common, I've heard of lots of people being like that! Haha bet you're glad there's no heatwave then 😂😂 xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 14:03

@Confused678866 good luck today and hope everything goes well 💞🤞🤞 xx

@Skl2021 Hey! Here's my scan 🥰 baby put their thumb up at the end 😂 after being really awkward throughout! But we got all the measurements etc done eventually and everything seems good so far! How are you?? Xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 14:18

@Confused678866 awww baby 😭💞 looks so cute! That little thumb 🤗 guess u didn't find out the sex then 🙊 I don't know if I'm swaying back to boy now 🤣🙈 glad everything is ok!! I'm ok I'm just very tired 😩 just want to go to bed. Xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 14:20

@Skl2021 Haha yes, we got a cheeky thumbs up at the end!! No we didn't find out but I'm convinced I saw a willy on the screen 😂😂
Ahh yes I bet you are.. the exhaustion is unreal in the first few weeks isn't it!! I just used to go to bed after my little one did! 😂 xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 14:23

@Confused678866 haha it is hard to hide the willy 🤣🙊 could of been the cord or anything tho! That picture does look like a boy but your 12 week looked girl so I'm not sure anymore 🙈 🤦 will be a nice surprise anyway! Yes and I'm a bit dizzy now and then. My kids keep pestering me to take them to the beach or park and I'm just sat here half asleep 🙄😩 like give me a break 🙊🤣 xx

Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 14:31

@Skl2021 She quickly scanned past the area and said 'do you want to know baby's sex?' I just laughed and said no 😂
And I think it was definitely a willy 😂 because she struggled to get a decent shot of the cord for ages! It just looks like my little boys scan picture too with the button nose and the big lips 😂 oh gosh I'm excited either way! I think I'd be really surprised if a girl comes out 😂
Ahh really? I think low iron levels can cause dizziness and that's common in pregnancy isn't it.. get the doctors informed and get your booking appointment done and they'll do your bloods and check for all of that.
Haha oh bless them, it's hard when you're tired isn't it! My little one isn't well, he's just been given steroids and trying to get him to take them is a nightmare. 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 15:03

@Confused678866 hahah must be hard for them to get measurements and try and hide the parts especially when the willy bit stands out 🙈🤦🤣 yes I'm going to ring the doctors Tuesday. I do have iron and vitamin c tablets I mite start taking as that's meant to help with fatigue. Ohh no poor thing! I'm sure my little one got given steroid medicine in hospital and he would throw up every time he had it! Was revolting. In the end I refused it and it was pointless putting him through it and forcing him to have it for him to projectile vomit it back up 🤦 hope he gets better soon 🤞 nothing worse than a little one poorly xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 15:36

@Skl2021 Haha I know! She didn't ask straight away either whether we wanted to find out, she asked towards the end.
Yeah your iron is probably low then, definitely call doctors next week and get the ball rolling!
Yes it's not very nice for them is it. I've had to dissolve the tablets in a tiny bit of juice and basically force it into him in a syringe 😫
They're soluble tablets but he's barely drinking or eating so it's hard to get him to have anything! He really needs to take some of these steroids to gets better 😭 and start eating!!
My partners mum took him back home with her so I can actually get some work done 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 15:50

@Confused678866 that's a bit odd isn't it should be the first thing they ask before they show it by accident 🤔 poor thing have u tried ice pops just to get a bit of water into him. Aww glad u have some help it's draining working and looking after little ones and growing another 🙊🤣 when's your next appointment/scan if u have one xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 15:59

@Skl2021 Yeah I think she must have forgotten! 😂 then I was going to tell her but then she asked us. I just said no and didn't give my partner chance to answer 🤣
Yeah I will try those actually, we have some in the freezer. He's just so so stubborn! Hopefully these steroids start to work soon and he'll be back to eating and drinking.
Yeah he goes nursery 3 days and partners mums every Friday.. so she just said she'd take him back with her today as he enjoys it anyway and it's been a big help! 😴😴
No more scans booked, but think we may do a 4D one around 27/28 weeks possibly.. we did it with our little boy and I loved it even though I thought they were strange 😂 midwife appointment at 25 weeks and I've got my whooping cough jab next week xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 16:12

@Confused678866 it's a good job she didn't just tell you what it is! You would of been gutted! Haha you should just have a nap and skip the work 🙊😉 I always thought the scans were creepy aswell but I'm coming round to it now and would like one this time didn't have one with the previous two! We are thinking of having an early scan! As I don't think I can wait 🤦 xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 18:19

@Skl2021 Haha I know I thought that 😂
Oh god I'd have loved a nap this afternoon, sounds great 😂
Yes they are a bit weird but mine was fab in the end and I'm glad we had it done!
Oooooh are you? When do you think you'll book it for?? Xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 19:27

@Confused678866 well I would do one asap but it's pointless isn't it 🙈 so was thinking around 7-8 weeks maybe. I don't want to wait but I also want it to be worth it. There 70 quid 🙈🙄 which I thought was dear 🙈 xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 19:44

@Skl2021 Yeah you're best off waiting until around then as you'll see more!
That does seem expensive 😳🙈 mine was only £45! Xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 19:49

@Confused678866 yes I thought that it's dearer than the gender scans! Crazy prices. But I'm not driving 2 hours to the next closest one so I'm pretty stuck! Only a 15 Min appointment aswell. 🤦 Xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 19:53

@Skl2021 Yeah that does seem weird! I wonder why it's more than the gender scans, that's bizarre! No I don't blame you, I wouldn't drive that far either!
Yes they're very quick aren't they at the reassurance ones, ours were too! Xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 19:56

@Confused678866 were u over 8 weeks with yours? Think there's appointments for when IL be around 7+3 or 8+2 not big difference in time but wondering if u can see more 🤣🙈 want my money's worth 🤣🙊 xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 27/08/2021 20:23

@Skl2021 I was just over 8 weeks I think.. I originally had one booked for just over 7 weeks but I put it back as I started to worry in case they didn't see a heartbeat with it being early and it would stress me out so I just decided to wait a bit longer! I think around the 8 week mark is always good! Haha I don't blame you 🙊 need to see ad much as you can for £70! 😂
I'd love a scan every couple of weeks, even now 🤣🤣 xx

Skl2021 · 27/08/2021 20:42

@Confused678866 yes I might book one for after 8 weeks and yes I want every penny it's daylight robbery 🤣🙊 haha get that 3d one booked. 😉🙊 Xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 28/08/2021 07:24

@Skl2021 Haha yes I don't blame you 😂
I think I'm going to! I'll check with my other half that he wants one and book it. It's only £79 I think, only £9 more than yours! 😵😂 xx

Skl2021 · 28/08/2021 18:29

@Confused678866 I know i just think it's mad 🤯 but they know people wil pay for peace of mind!! So they can charge what they want! Half of me wants the scan and the other half begrudges paying that sort of money 🤣🙈 xx

OP posts:
Confused678866 · 28/08/2021 18:45

@Skl2021 Yea that's very true.. people would pay anything within reason for peace of mind wouldn't they!
Haha 😂 I know what you mean, it is a bit annoying, but it will be worth it! 🥰 xx

Confused678866 · 31/08/2021 19:27

@Skl2021 Hey! How's everything going? Xx
