Would I take this as ovulation?🤞

Would you say the 3rd test down was my peak? Seems to be getting lighter top one was today. These were alot brighter irl. The picture of one on its own was the third test down before it dryed. How many more days should I DTD? And when would I class 1dpo? Thanks 😁

@Confused678866 it's alright These things happen 🙄 it will happen when it wants too won't it. Just not as quick as I was hoping. And no hasn't made a difference. Haven't been taking them religiously tho 🤦 keep forgetting. Might try again this month then have a break xx

@Skl2021 Yes you're right, just hoping it's soon for you. Yeah maybe it's worth trying it again but then having a break and seeing if that helps 🤞🏻 what does your partner say about it all? Xx

@Confused678866 he's very supportive always says oh it will happen this month 🤣🙈 he will do what ever I choose. We don't want a summer baby tho so we will stop after this month anyway as I would be due in may. U will have had this baby before we start again at this rate 😂🙊 xx

@Confused678866 my eldest is youngest of the year at school and has struggled alot at school over the years having to keep up with the others even though there's nearly a year difference and it's not fair on them. And with it being my last I would love to spend as much time with them before school. Just want to give them a headstart xx

@Skl2021 Oh yeah that's a fair point, I've never even thought about it like that. My nephew is turning one near the end of august so he will be a young one won't he!
Also never thought about the aspect of them being at home that bit longer before they start school! My little boy is an April baby so that's not too bad and this one will be January!
You never know, the break could do you good and then it might just happen after that! Xx

@Confused678866 yes every kid is different tho some might be fine born later it's just he has struggled. I think boys are a bit slower than girls especially at maturing anyway 🤦 🤣 so don't know what else I can do different this month now any suggestions xx

@Skl2021 Yeah I know what you mean, just never really thought about it but I guess it can make a difference because like you say, there's nearly a year between them.
I don't know really.. I know it helped me to stop using the OPK's as it helped me not be too stressed about it all but I appreciate that's hard for you because of having longer cycles. Maybe you could have a month off from them and just DTD whenever you feel like it instead - lots of people say that helps them and it ends up working! Xx

@Confused678866 I would love to stop them but I literally don't have a clue when it would be and I never have sex that regularly 🤣🤦🙈 would hardly happen if it was up to me. Them positive opks make me do it 🤣🙊 just so stressful this journey I really thought it would of happened by now So frustrating 🤦 xx

@Skl2021 Yeah I get that, I'm the same 😂 To be honest, in the end I just my app and tried to work out when my fertile window was even though I knew that it wasn't that accurate and just DTD around then and hoped for the best! But I get it's harder with longer cycles xx

Can someone help me, i took this test at around 6am this morning, would you say this was my peak? If so how long after should I ovulate? Also DTD at around 6:30 this morning just to make sure we got it in there, would you recommend DTD again 12 hours later? So like around 6:30 tonight?

Been trying for 2 and a half years so it is definitely getting me down! Also taking clomid atm, hoping this is the month for us!

@Raindrop25 Hey. I'm no expert at all when it comes to the OPK's but I'm sure that the test line is supposed to be as dark as or darker than the control line and then that would your peak? I'd say it either could be your peak or you're most certainly approaching it. Sorry to hear that you've been having a rough time with TTC, hopefully it works out for you soon 🤞🏻❤️ xx

@Raindrop25 I would say your close but not peak yet! 🤞 Keep DTD and keep testing I don't think you will be far off! Hope the clomid works 🤞Xx

Thankyou all! So when I get my peak, is it 12 hours after that you ovulate? How often would you DTD?

@Raindrop25 usually say 24-36 hours so just keep DTD for a couple of days after to make sure your covered. Do it as many times as u want 🤞xx

@Skl2021 I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so I'm going to mention it to her and I'm guessing she'll check my blood pressure anyway to rule that out 🤞🏻
Yeah I really try and hold back from taking anything but occasionally I've taken paracetamol as that's all you can take!
Set a reminder on your phone for everyday and then you won't forget the vitamins! We'll just do as your normally do and take the vitamins and let's see 🤞🏻❤️🤞🏻 xx

@Raindrop25 I think you should be DTD frequently now to cover all bases and they do say that you can still conceive the day after ovulation as the egg will be viable for 24 hours xx

@Confused678866 yes definitely mention it! Hope the appointment goes well. Lovely to hear the heartbeat on the doppler 💕 how far are you now? Seems to be flying! Yes I don't know what I will do if it doesn't happen this month. Last month was depressing enough. But then having to wait to start trying again will kill me 😩 need to order another batch of opks 🤦 xx

@Skl2021 Yes I will, they're driving me mad when I get them! I'm 17 weeks on Wednesday, it is going pretty quickly so far! Hopefully will hear heartbeat, not all trusts do it though at the 16 week appointment I don't think so I'll see!

Hi again!

I tested at 7:30 lastnight and it was darker so dtd at around 11. When I tested again this morning, it's now lighter than it was lastnight.

So, does this mean I have already ovulated with it now getting lighter? Or am I still about to ovulate?

We havent dtd this morning as my boyfriend has gone to work so we can't do it until around 5 ish. Does this mean I have missed my chance if I have already ovulated?
