Hi all,

A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@LauraT94 ahhh I can see the lines!! Amazing!! Our second BFP! Congratulations my darling! This is definitely turning into a lucky thread 🤗🤗

@LauraT94 scans will definitely help ❤❤ my only hope is if I fall pregnant again it measuring right will help a bit as mine was always measuring a week behind, and obviously I knew the exact day I ovulated so seemed odd to be behind. Unfortunately given I saw a heartbeat that won't help me 😔 but I think even getting past the time when the last one passed away would be a huge milestone. Just take it week by week and break down each milestone. First milestone is period due date, and that's a day or two away. Then next milestone can be getting to 5 weeks and past chemical territory and that's not too long either!!

@Pettylamby still early days lovely. But...I must say I feel so much better trying after my beast of a period. I'm pretty sure I'm out this cycle, temps are all over the shot and I'm still randomly spotting. But I'm hoping next cycle my body will be back to some sort of normality!

@Pettylamby aww sorry to hear it’s a negative for you lovely. It’s horrid when you get false hope but like @AMS19 said it’s still early days. I still haven’t ovulated (first proper cycle since MMC after beast period!) and I’m growing so impatient. I just want everything to get on with it and be able to join that BFP ladies too 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ladies excuse my thickness but what does DPO mean? I’ve seen it loads but never actually worked out what it means? Xx

Ah @AMS19 I only have a 10day luteal phase so really not expecting anything now! Period is due on Tuesday! I'm actually okay with a BFN this month, I'm just glad to be in this position of being able to try again! This has been such a long drawn out process since my last BFP in November.. But I have to be thankful that I'm here and through the worst and not where I was even a month ago or two.months ago stuck in horrible limbo land!

Aww @Pettylamby it’s awful seeing a bfn but you’re not out yet. Is this your first cycle after first period?

@Pettylamby honestly i totally know how you feel. My BFP was 9 Nov and here I am in limbo still. I had such a perfect cycle given I'd just come off the pill and now the miscarriage has messed it all up 🙄 but we have to trust our bodies to do it with the right egg/sperm and at the right time. I'd rather wait a few cycles for the perfect embryo ❤❤

@Mellous I was 5 weeks. I'm sorry you found out that way :( it's been so hard to deal with but my last MN group for DS were the best support I could have asked for. They've been amazing and really pulled me through.
DS is 2.5, will be 3 in august. Thank you I'm staying positive now but not expecting anything to happen this month. Glad I've kind this thread xx

@Mellous tbh I have no desire at all for early testing. If it's a positive I don't want to endure the is it/isn't it going to be a chemical so I really want to hold out as long as I can until after af is due. When do you plan on testing?

@dippyegg32 ah yeah I remember you saying! I’m already eyeing up the tests so it’ll be a miracle if I hold off until af due date. I’m probably going to test at 10-11dpo so Friday or Saturday x

@LauraT94 congratulations, I'm so happy for you. Did you have any early symptoms?Fingers crossed it's a sticky baby. That's two BFP so far its gives everyone else so much hope 🌈🌈

@Dippyegg32 I'm the same as you, im 6DPO today and really want to hold of till AF is suppose to be due. I will struggle to hold of till then but thankfully I've no tests in the house. Last time I was a week late before I took a test so I was nearly 6 weeks when I found out.

@laurat94 Ahh yay!! Another BFP! Will keep everything crossed for you lovely, that's amazing!! Hoping early the weeks fly by until early scan and it brings reassurance! 🤞🤞That's my plan too when/if my BFP comes.

@dippyegg32 I'm the same after my mini meltdown last cycle🤦🏼‍♀️Will hold off until AF due date i think. I'm only CD6 so got a while to go x

@Mellous I’m CD16 today if I count from the very first day of spotting but period didn’t properly start for two days so not sure whether I should count it from them!? In which case I would be day 14 but either way...no bloody sign of ovulation arrrghhhh!! I was quite good the first 10 days or so but now I’m SO impatient!! And according to the Premom app my OPKs go up a bit then get a bit lighter then go a bit darker again...driving me mad ha ha.

@LauraT94 congratulations, such lovely news to see this morning on this thread 💕🌈 I can completely understand the anxiety and will definitely be going for some early scans when I get a BFP too.

Seeing the BFPs coming through is definitely bringing so much hope 💕

@SuzieDeLaTourim either CD12 or CD17 😂😂 I think I'm more like CD12, so I'm going with that one. I've got all the signs of ovulation (increased sex drive, more energy, EWCM) but so far nothing on the OPKs. My LH surges do come out of nowhere though and usually go to and from 0 within 36hours. I'm testing twice a day now so I hopefully don't miss it...

Sorry for my random excitement but think things are finally evening out for me, can't really explain my excitement to anyone else other than my partner and you lovely ladies. Got a flashy, high on my clear blue advanced opk this morning. Didn't get that until cd 22 last cycle and on cd 13 now. Didn't ovulate until cd 25 last cycle which was super late for me usually being around cd 15-16. Hoping that I'll get a static smiley the next few days, I was predicting ovulation would be late next week, but looking more like early this week now 🤞

Placemarking - I'm still awaiting testing so technically we have paused TTC but I am still temping and using OPKs

Not sure what I want to achieve by posting but just read through and your comments gave me some comfort.

Currently going through chemical mc after MC last November at 7 weeks. Really feeling low with it all and wondering what I could do next. I'm coming up to 36 and wondering if I am just too old now.

Going to ring GP tomorrow but not sure what they can offer as I have just had 2 losses.

@AMS19 glad I’m not alone in not knowing which day I’m on! 😂 I don’t have EWCM and haven’t had any ovulation pains so it’s definitely not happening right now. Sounds promising for you though!! Do you ever do the digital clear blue ovulation test? I know they are stupidly expensive! I’ve started testing twice a day now too and cracked into my digitals yesterday...it’s getting desperate ha! X

@MrsNo2506 I’m so sorry you’re going through this now, it really is awful ☹️ But please don’t worry, You’re not too old at all! Lots of women in their mid-late 30s have successful pregnancies. The GP normally refers for testing after 3 consecutive miscarriages but your GP might be more helpful and put you forward - definitely push for as much help as you can get! Have you had any blood tests etc done? How long have you been trying for? X

@SuzieDeLaTour my only concern is STILL haven't stopped really spotting. Really annoying. It is much at all, but most times when I wipe it's there. So I'm not sure even if I do ovulate there is anywhere for the embryo to go! I'm drinking POM like a possessed person 😂😂 I've never tried thr CB ones, I find OPKs work really well for me so haven't really felt the need yet. But let's see. Hopefully after the acupuncture my cycles will be more settled xx
