A thread for the ladies from the recent MC/MMC group and for anybody else who wants to join us as we discuss getting our cycles back on track after MC and starting to TTC again x

@dippyegg32 dying at the usual sex like comment we've been doing the SMEP for what feels like forever and just so flipping tiring 😂 between dtd, pineapple cores and Brazil nuts it's a chore sometimes

@AMS19 I'm having my first drink in 2021 and lord help my husband bc I missed wine. I'm not even a big drinker. Since my mc I've had so many coffees and sushi and keep telling him I gotta live it up for the next couple weeks bc we're going get good news

Morning lovelies anyone else an early bird? I've been waking anytime from 4am recently DH thought it would be a good time to try it on - no love, shop's firmly shut!

@dippyegg32 I'm up too! But I would be equally appalled if OH tried it on at this time 😂

What do we reckon of these tests then? 😜 They're extremely faint but they would be at 9dpo! I can definitely see lines on both. And here's proof that the Wondfo '20mIU' track lines at the same rate/sensitivity as the FRERs! Temp also went up this morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@dippyegg32 yeah im usually awake 5.30am most morning. Its when I take my temp so my body annoyingly wakes me up that time now everyday.

I'm incredibly hungover today 🤢

Morning All,

Would it be ok for me to join? I had a MC 12 days ago doctor confirmed MC as I had a negative test in a&e. It started with spotting around 16 days ago.

We are ttc for our second child and MC was on cycle 1. Doctor said we could try again straight away so that's what we're doing. Not sure how accurate my dates are going to be but we're dtd when we can. Trying to take a much more relaxed approach as ttc DS I was a nightmare with symptom spotting and dtd everyday through FW.

@Sugarskulllover yes of course! Sorry to hear about your recent mc, how many weeks were you? I found out end of dec at 10 weeks that mine had stopped growing at around 6 weeks. I had a d&c in January. We did try the cycle before my first period but no luck, tbh I didn’t really know what was going on with my body so this is our first “proper” attempt this cycle! Wishing you so much luck, how old is your first? xx

Ahh ok, thank you @Mellous it's all so confusing because I was told to wait for my first period so as not to cause confusion regarding dates but to also make sure the lining of the uterus is ok.

I'm a bit confused regarding baby aspirin and when to start taking it. I've read so many conflicting things. Some advice is to start taking it at 12 weeks but if it's to help prevent a miscarriage then surely that's too late, especially as I had my MC at 5.5 weeks and my MMC at 10 weeks? I feel like if I were to wait until 12 weeks it might be too late by then?

I'm still bleeding after my D&C and I'm just feeling very impatient!

Tbh I'm terrified!! Don't get me wrong I'm excited at the idea this one could stick, but obviously given previous experience I'm convinced it won't. I'll book an early scan for 8 weeks but it's going to be a long 5 weeks to get to that point!!

What cd are you @LauraT94 ? It'll feel a long time for sure but every day that passes will be closer to your rainbow.

@LauraT94 I would be the same. Getting a BFP feels me with dread now rather than excitement. Not entirely sure how to shift my mindset at all!

@Tamalama from the research I've done on it you start it from when you get a BFP. Taking it from 12 weeks is to prevent pre eclampsia I believe. But if you're taking incase you have sticky blood it's from BFP

@dippyegg32 I'm CD24, or 9dpo. Or 3+2 haha! 🤞🏻🌈

@AMS19 it's such a weird feeling. I'm sure once I've had some scans etc I'll feel better? I didn't even get to see my little beans heartbeat last time so I'm looking forward to that moment ❤️

@AMS19 thank you. Yes I thought it was from getting a BFP too. There doesn't appear to be a reason for my miscarriages (although they were going to be doing tests on my 10 week old twins) and I have to call the EPU for the results in a couple of weeks, but I have been warned they may not find any reason as to why it happened) so I'll try anything, including the baby aspirin.

@LauraT94 it's natural to feel nervous and hopefully if I get a BFP within the next couple of months I know I'll feel exactly the same, but I guess you just have to try and treat this pregnancy as a brand new one where it's all going to be ok 😊

Mine was a proper BFN today which i kind of expected, damn stupid tests with indent lines giving me false hope the other day! 🙄 I'm resigned to the fact this isn't my month and hopefully get the beast period to sort things out and start again fresh!
