@glowingtwig sending positive vibes hun for the results x

@dippyegg32 definitely getting darker lovely, could just be a bit early to show clear, fc and cramping could just be implantation.

Me, CD31 today, feeling a lot more like AF on its way, just want to know now, fairly sure it wont be positive news and tbh feeling really down about the whole thing now and just want to give up!

yepstilltrying · 16/03/2021 09:26

@glowingtwiggood luck with the HCG. How many DPO are you? I'm having mine taken on Friday but I'm sure my line is lighter today :-(

Mellous · 16/03/2021 09:30

Well ladies, back to CD1 for me, AF has started this morning!

@gizmo167 I'm feeling the same today :( really down and just can't be bothered with another month of ttc. Makes me want to give up xx

Hi @Quinn26 sorry you are going through this. It is super stressful isn't it.

My first cycle post mc in Dec I ovulated super late, with my peak being on cd 25. I'm normally around cd 15. I was convinced I wasn't going to ovulate that month, and decided a date to stop ovulation tests if I didn't see a change. The day I was going to stop, cd 22 or 23, I actually started getting stronger lines on the OPKs so decided to keep going, but if the lines hadn't been improving I would have stopped as wasn't good for my stress levels. I did have an odd cycle though that cycle as had spotting on and off up until around cd 17 which I never have. The cycle following this (the one I'm in now) has been so much more normal, I had a heavy period so had a good clear out, and have peaked on cd 15 as usual, just in the tww now. I was surprised that things have gone from a super weird and long cycle my norm straight after, so perhaps that will happen to you too.

I would suggest maybe setting yourself a date of when you will stop using OPKs too if you don't see a change this month to give yourself a break and then start again the following cycle when things may have stabilised a little bit more.

glowingtwig · 16/03/2021 09:44

Thanks everyone ❤️

@yepstilltrying I'm 19 DPO, had it done yesterday at 18 DPO. Then will be repeated Thursday. I know it's not going to give me certainty but it might settle the anxiety a bit if the results are ok. Prepare me if not I guess.
I'm sorry that the line looks lighter... the HCG might give you some reassurance though.

@Mellous sorry about AF 😔 on to a new cycle!!

Quinn26 · 16/03/2021 10:14

Thanks @PlantMummy87 I think I'm driving myself mad with testing! Your right ill go to the end of the week then stop if nothing appears.

I need to chill out a bit I think as its the first proper cycle since MC but that's easier said than done! Good luck with your tww fingers crossed 🤞 for you xx

PlantMummy87 · 16/03/2021 10:21

@Quinn26 I know the feeling, I was getting all sorts of worries running through my head thinking I'd never ovulate again. It's crazy how much pressure it can put on you. At one point I was (crazily) using 3 different types of OPKs as I was convinced I was doing something wrong or missing it.

Fingers crossed you get your peak in the next few days xx

dippyegg32 · 16/03/2021 10:32

@glowingtwig I'm also a teacher and had a real bad cramp one sided during a lesson this morning and I'm now riddled with anxiety whilst trying to be my normal self in front of colleagues. Hate this.

yepstilltrying · 16/03/2021 11:49

Ladies can I ask a question about the FRER test lines. I know HCG doubles every 48 hours but how much darker should the line get each day? Is it always a disaster if it doesn't? I don't want to drive myself mad but after so many false starts I can't help myself.

Last month it was faint, then got a bit darker but still nowhere as dark as the test line and then disappeared before I even got my period. Dreading the same thing happening again. So fare this month looks a bit better than that but still plenty of time for it to fade before AF :-(

dippyegg32 · 16/03/2021 12:31

Can you post a pic of your tests @yepstilltrying ? X

yepstilltrying · 16/03/2021 12:46

@dippyegg32 I think I need to load the app to my phone to upload a photo from there? Am just on the PC. Will try! There is a line, it's just definitely not getting darker.

glowingtwig · 16/03/2021 13:45

It's awful @dippyegg32 trying to keep up the act in front of them all. Hope you're doing ok. Lunchtime here and one lesson to go... just trying to make it through the day.

Well HCG was 276. I've checked online and the range is huge at between 5 and 426 at 4 weeks but I'm still not happy- my HCG with my one successful pregnancy was way higher at the same time. The doctor just said that you can't go off one reading and that they have to go up 60% in 48 hours. She also said that each pregnancy is different- even that boy babies tend to emit lower HCG compared to girls.

So I'm in limbo til Friday when I get the next result back... booked in Thursday morning for repeats. It just seems so low at 276 🙁 and I feel a bit sick. Not morning sickness sick, sick with the anxiety of it all, the stress.

Pettylamby · 16/03/2021 13:56

@glowingtwig sorry you are feeling anxious! Have everything crossed for you that the repeats will show a good rise and put your mind at ease! Anxiety is hard work.

I've had to remove the RHR display off my fitbit (even tho ill probs still check it) because after a small rise a few days ago its back down to what I'd class my normal RHR as, was hoping it would show a big rise and stay there. I know it's probably irrelevant but I've read so much about people's doing a gradual increase after their bfp but mine just hasn't! 🙈

dippyegg32 · 16/03/2021 15:35

@glowingtwig I don't know what my levels were with my successful pregnancies but I do no know that my mmc was 357 at 4w so really, the numbers don't mean anything. I've got everything crossed for you that you see a good rise. What year do you teach? I'm year 2, they've won today, I'm done!

SuzieDeLaTour · 16/03/2021 15:54

@glowingtwig oh love I’m so sorry you’re feeling so stressed BUT honestly the level doesn’t mean much, it really is about the progression! The doctor at the EPU told me to ignore everything on the internet as it’s so individual and they only use the number to spot a trend. A friend of mine had the exact same number as you at around the same time as you and within 48 hours it was in the high 500s and her little one is coming up to a year now 😚 she was also told there’s not much in the figure, they just want to see it double. I know it’s easy to compare everything but every pregnancy is so different. I’m sure by Friday your mind will be at ease and you and “bump” can enjoy the weekend xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 16/03/2021 15:57

@Mellous oh I’m sorry you’re having a rubbish day. Sodding AF! But try and look at it as the start of a new cycle and a new chance to capture that perfect egg!! My period is due in a week and I’m already feeling “meh” about it - I’ve almost resigned myself to the fact that it won’t happen this month which is not the right attitude at all but I completely get how you’re feeling 😘

yepstilltrying · 16/03/2021 16:34

@Pettylamby I've never thought of checking my RHR on fitbit! A new obsession!

dippyegg32 · 16/03/2021 17:40

@Mellous this is your month darling! A beautiful Christmas baby I just know it Smile

I've graduated onto a higher strength cheapy. This was my micro goal for this week so I'm pleased about that. I'm really taking this hour by hour, the anxiety is real.

Pettylamby · 16/03/2021 17:41

Oh god @yepstilltrying I'm sorry, don't do it! 😂🙈

Mellous · 16/03/2021 17:46

@SuzieDeLaTour thank you! everything crossed for you! When will you test?xx

@dippyegg32 oh I really hope so. Af has stopped now. These post mc cycles are so weird!! I’m sure she’ll be back tomorrow on her due date 😒 haha. Awww fab news, how are the cramps today? Hope you’re feeling better xx

@Pettylamby I'm loving the advent!!

SuzieDeLaTour · 16/03/2021 17:55

@Mellous thank you!! ☺️ I’m 6DPO so my goal is to try and hold off until I’m 12/13 days - that is, if my period doesn’t come first!! I’ve only got one frer left and I didn’t want to buy more yet and get my hopes up so I’m hoping that will stop me from testing too early. I say this...come day 9 I’ll probably be raring to go 🤣

Summersun001 · 16/03/2021 17:58

Hi Ladies, so many messages to catch up on so sorry for not responding to specifics!

Been a little quiet on here recently. Just anxious and trying to keep busy! @Pettylamby I have this! It’s great isn’t it :)

Hope you’re all okay, I’m sorry to those who have joined the group but honestly these ladies are the best ever!! Xxx
