@SuzieDeLaTour thank you sweet, I even found myself crying in Morrison’s car park this morning! What a day, eh. My husband is lovely sometimes he struggles to know what to say or do to help. But plenty of cuddles off the husband and the dog and speaking to you guys always helps xx

@SuzieDeLaTour thank you il keep my fingers crossed and let you know after my TWW. Il do my research for testing for next month if not successful this month. Strange to think had I not miscarried I would be nearly half way through my pregnancy now and now we are having to start all over again.

I will say though us women are incredible just think what our bodies can do.

Sorry to hear you had a little cry today it is an emotional roller coaster.

wag1987 · 14/03/2021 20:42

The below comment was for you also @Mellous but your name didn't tag. Sorry you were upset today :(

jodielouise26 · 14/03/2021 21:06

Congratulations @Pettylamby 🤍

I'm waiting for the go ahead for me and the OH to dtd..
I've been testing with opk.
Now on one app it says ovulation 18th... and the other says 22nd.. HELP 😬 I need to prepare the other half..

Would it be best to just go with what my opk says? Or go with the app as well as the OPKs?

I've attached photos of what the apps say for
Ovulation...
I've also attached my OPKs this week ...

xx

@Mellous @DMT1982 @wag1987 @SuzieDeLaTour @Pettylamby @LauraT94 thanks ladies I really appreciate all the messages. I had cramps all day so wasn't the biggest of shocks but made me feel massively deflated. And of all days! Did what any sensible 30 something adult would do and got totally drunk on prosecco and danced around my living room and have just woken up for a 3hour nap feeling like death...😂🤦‍♀️🤢. I honestly do really appreciate all the messages. I'm going to get B vitamin complex for next cycle and take that in my LP to help. My ovulation date is fab just need to get that LP extended and stop all the spotting. Right now I want to give it all up, enjoy summer and pick it up again later in the year. Maybe I'll feel differently tomorrow...love to all xx

dippyegg32 · 15/03/2021 05:43

Hope your heads not too bad this morning @AMS19 but the Prosecco sounds amazing!!! I take seven seas ttc which has the b6 and folic acid in and tbh I think it's that that's contributed to my cycles getting longer.

Been cramping all night and af is due today so watch this space... Eughh just seen an email from Emma's diary "what to expect now you're 22 weeks pregnant". Smashing Hmm

DMT1982 · 15/03/2021 07:26

@AMS19 morning lovely. How’s the head this morning? Prosecco hangovers are the worst so prepare yourself for that. Eat rubbish food and get some fresh air, that’ll make you feel better if you are suffering with skull ache!

Maybe having some time off mumsnet and google would also do you good. It’s an amazing support network on here but equally it’s good to think about other things as well. No one would judge you or think anything of it and once you popped back we would all update you on what had been happening. Only an idea as I know you said google had been your friend and also enemy at the same time. Xxxx

DMT1982 · 15/03/2021 07:28

@dippyegg32 those emails go into my spam luckily and I found a few the other day by accident. They really hurt when you see how far along you would have been ☹️ Xxx

glowingtwig · 15/03/2021 07:55

I'm so sorry you're feeling so rubbish @AMS19 , you've been such a huge support to us- it's not fair! Don't forget that with AF comes a huge hormone crash which will make you feel worse and even though your body isn't back to normal yet, it will be soon I promise. Get some salt n vinegar chipsticks for the prosecco hangover!

@jodielouise26 I have a friend who took 18 months to fall pregnant after relying on apps that indicated her ovulation time incorrectly. As soon as she used opks she got pregnant.

I would have sex every two/three days until you get into that window and then daily opks til you see your surge. Then have sex every other day as they get darker, the day and then the day after they are positive, wait a day and have sex once more. It's sort of a version of the SMEP plan and seems to work for us.

@dippyegg32 I can definitely see a line on the bottom one! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

@SuzieDeLaTour you're one day closer now... it goes so slowly doesn't it?!

AMS19 · 15/03/2021 08:12

Morning @dippyegg32 @dmt1982 @glowingtwig. Thanks for the messages this morning and sorry for being such a Debbie downer last night! I've ordered lots of B6 vitamins for next cycle. I think you're definitely right @dmt1982 about stepping away from things for a bit. I do like watching everyone's journey as it gives me hope. Just need my body to play ball. But maybe I'll take some space from it all for a bit. I'm filling my summer up with lots of trips and plans, of which pregnancy wouldn't be ideal, so I'm giving myself a silver lining and assuming it won't happen. If my body needs time to repair so be it.

On other news, I had more acupuncture yesterday and found it a lot more effective than the previous one. She said it was only a light one because of where I was in my cycle but definitely felt quite light afterwards!

Hope everyone has a good week xx

PlantMummy87 · 15/03/2021 08:13

Oh @AMS19 lovely, it sounds like yesterday was really hard for you. I hope you are feeling ok today and not too hungover. As the other ladies have said, your body has been through a lot and it's completely normal for it to take a moment to stabilise again. I think there is so much pressure for everything to snap back to normal after a mc but often our bodies don't get that memo. I've also heard vitamin B helps with lengthening the LP. But if you do want/need to take a break from TTC or here we also completely understand and as @DMT1982 said we will be here for you when you come back if you needed a break. Sending you lots of love 💕

@Mellous I'm so sorry you had a hard day too yesterday. How are you feeling today?

Neady1980 · 15/03/2021 08:16

@AMS19 hope your feeling better today, I had a bottle of prosecco and a Chinese last night followed by a karaoke with my mam and SIL 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I really enjoyed it. Paying for it now though

AMS19 · 15/03/2021 08:26

Thanks @PlantMummy87

Ha @Neady1980 I feel your pain. My mum and I had 2 bottles of prosecco and a bottle of wine between us 🤢 I feel pretty terrible! Having my yoghurt and seeds for breakfast though because I've done enough damage for one weekend 😂😂

jodielouise26 · 15/03/2021 09:33

@glowingtwig Thankyou !

This sounds like a plan 🤞🏻 x

gizmo167 · 15/03/2021 09:33

@AMS19 big hugs hun, its rubbish isnt it not knowing what our bodies are doing, mc are just so traumatic without all the fallout, really isnt fair!!

CD30 for me today, not sure where I am tbh, just waiting on AF, hate this part! A tiny bit of cramping but absolutely no sore boobs and no skin breakouts at all that I would usually get before AF, happened after the first mc too with the boobs etc, I've no idea if or when I would have ov'd, I dont temp or anything, trying to take a relaxed approach to it all, I got my bfp on this day last cycle but I had implantation bleed that one and had all the preg symptoms of the day so definitely 100% sure its not going to happen this one!

dippyegg32 · 15/03/2021 10:11

Glad to hear you're sounding so pragmatic @AMS19 great about the acupuncture!!

I keep running to the loo assuming af has started as I'm cramping badly. I just want it to blinking start if it's going to. I can't bare the limbo. Faint but not a squinter yesterday and now cramping. Can't deal with it all!

DMT1982 · 15/03/2021 10:26

@AMS19 I definitely think planning stuff without pregnancy in mind is a good thing otherwise you just won’t make plans and a lot of pregnancies can happen when you’re not thinking about it which I appreciate isn’t easy because it’s always on our minds however if planning things and doing things takes priority and pregnancy takes a back seat you may well find you fall pregnant as your mind is on other things.

It won’t be long before we are able to start socialising again even if just outside to begin with it’s better than nothing. You’ll still be taking all your vitamins and remember the 20/80 approach so don’t kick yourself if you have a couple of days off with your head in a box of wine and filthy food, it won’t do you any harm or your eggs any harm.

Thinking of you xxx

DMT1982 · 15/03/2021 10:29

Ps acupuncture sounds brilliant and if it makes you feel lighter then it’s doing something and at a fraction of the price of the fertility one, even better.

I have a massage booked in today so looking forward to that. I went running twice over the weekend so need it. I am going to look into reflexology as having pressure applied to my feet I find really relaxing although my hubby moans that it hurts his hands!! Xx

Mellous · 15/03/2021 11:05

Thanks ladies. I'm feeling a bit better today but still questioning 'why'?? Why didn't we conceive this month? Is there something wrong with me?! I know I'm being ridiculous but as I say we were lucky enough to conceive month 1 last time (albeit with a sad ending..) xx

OP posts:
AMS19 · 15/03/2021 11:08

@DMT1982 a blow out was definitely needed. I'm working from bed today eating hula hoops 😂😂 I really should try and act like a mature 33 year old woman more often! Also... reflexology is amazing! I love having my feet rubbed too! Xx

Thanks @gizmo167 really hoping for get a good period to clear everything out for you!

@dippyegg32 I'm so crampy too...it's just the worst! I've got everything crossed for you

Tamalama · 15/03/2021 11:12

Morning ladies, I am so crap at keeping track on here 😕
Today is three weeks since I had my scan where I found out about my MMC, so a crap day already. I took a pregnancy test this morning (I've been taking them every day since last Tuesday) and it's finally negative. I had squinters on Saturday and Sunday but still enough to class as faint positive I think. I'm relieved that it's finally negative but feel sad as well. I've had positive opks since Tuesday as well, it was 200% Tuesday and has been in double figures all week. Today it's still peak but at 92% now so I have no idea if I have already ovulated, if they were high due to still not having a negative pregnancy test or if I'm still in with a chance.
We haven't dtd yet, I've not felt like it, plus I've still had brown spotting, but I don't appear to have any today which I guess makes sense if I've had a negative test.

SuzieDeLaTour · 15/03/2021 11:45

@wag1987 oh I had that thought too - I would be 19 weeks today gearing up for my scan 😔 fingers crossed this is our lucky month!
@AMS19 oh love I hope the head is ok this morning! Waking up from drunken naps is hideous, the hangover starts there and then. I’m so impressed you managed your yoghurt and seeds this morning, I would have been loading up on stodgy carbs from the moment I opened my eyes!
I’m not saying anything new here but just wanted to say I agree with the other girlies - your body has been through so much and we all take different amounts of time to recover. I think planning stuff is a great approach, will give you something to look forward to and it’s healthy to focus on something other than TTC (says she counting down the hours until AF is due!!🤦‍♀️) we are all here for you xx
@Mellous oh my love, it’s so tough 😢 I know I’ll be exactly the same if this month doesn’t work out. It all seems so unfair but I’m just holding on to the hope that it might be a bumpy journey but we will all get there in the end! Xx

SuzieDeLaTour · 15/03/2021 11:53

Ps you girlies have made me desperate for a foot rub!! X

yepstilltrying · 15/03/2021 12:06

Hi everyone. I hope it's ok to join this thread. I got pregnant this time last year and had a miscarriage in June that took FOREVER to sort itself out. Couldn't start trying again until January and then had two chemicals in a row. Trying to conceive again this month so really hopeful it might work out but dreading the lines getting lighter and another chemical :-(

glowingtwig · 15/03/2021 13:08

@SuzieDeLaTour @wag1987 I was thinking this the other day too... I stopped all the notification but my due date for the lost pregnancy in August is coming up- April the 14th. Crazy to think I could be just a month away from another baby if it had worked out.

Now I'm trying not to think too far ahead with this one. It's so hard though, thinking about if I'll be wearing maternity dresses in the summer and things. @dippyegg32 I've had some mild cramps today but trying not to worry as I don't really get AF cramps ever, it just starts. Hoping it's just everything starting to stretch. Maybe the case for you too?

Well ladies, I had my first beta HCGs done today. Aimed for exactly the same cycle day as I had them done with DD so I'll only be happy if they are similar or higher numbers. Then another one Thursday where I'll be hoping they've gone up the right amount. My GP said she would do progesterone too if I wanted on Thursday but I'm unsure... if it's nice and high obviously that's great and indicates all is progressing well, but if it's on the low side it doesn't necessarily mean a failing pregnancy but then obviously I'll be really stressed.

What do I do..? Go with the progesterone or just stick to the beta HCG? 🤷🏻‍♀️
