Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

Here's my chart, we are all about the same dpo. Tbh I'm not sure what a good chart looks like, as in positive for pregnancy. Seems so variable!

The second line in my chart is my last BFP so guess that in conjunction with the lack of BD, I'm not confident it looks good.

I've had a bit of cramping and uncomfortable boobs over the last few days but I've definitely had that at the same time in previous months so I'm not placing any hope on it.

Sorry forgot to say @polkadotpixie I'm aiming not to test, especially with my current mindset but you know what it's like... sometimes it's hard to resist as the time goes on!

@ContadoraExplorer I don't plan to test either (although that's easy to say at 6dpo, not so easy to stick to at 9dpo 😂) I have a short luteal phase so AF is due on Mon/Tues so I'll wait until then. I've always found my chart makes a BFN obvious without testing so I save myself a fortune on FRER!

@ContadoraExplorer I guess you're waiting for spike tomorrow or the day after then to get more like your bfp chart 🤞

@polkadotpixie yep my chart does also, saves me money plus the sadness of looking at a blank test! Having said that I've got a potentially boozy weekend and so I'll prob try to test before. Not that I think anyone would show at 8dpo 😂

13dpo today BFN and Temps are dropping slightly which means AF will probably make an appearance on Monday 😞. Feeling a bit down about it. I've contacted GP for bloods (just waiting to hear back) and have also asked for thyroid function to be tested (I have some symptoms of under active thyroid which can affect fertility).

Sorry to hear that @LemonDrizzle44 - good to get stuff investigated though. I’m off for more bloods at GP myself this morning.

Not sure what’s going on with my chart today. Big temp drop , I did temp slightly earlier than usual but was after a good nights sleep so not sure what’s caused that.

Hi girls, how are you all? Sorry I've been AWOL but in my defense I've had a lot going on 😶
Anyways... I've had the weirdest chart this month. Probably due to stress, my temps were weird, stayed quite low until after when I would normally o so it seems like I ovulated late as my temp didnt rise like normal and FF gave me an o crosshair on cycle day 20 (normally between 12-15) which was backed up by my opk. Anyways I'm getting to the point somewhere here lol I had a vv light and a vvv light bfp yesterday at 7dpo but it's still vvv light this morning... should I be thinking chemical again? I know I shouldn't test this early, but having had two ectopics the earlier I find out the better. Anybody had similar and it turned out ok? X

@Drinksometeawithme I would be impressed to get a bfp at 7 or 8 days ovulation, so I think vvf would be normal. Horrible to wait but testing again in two days might give a better line progression 🤞

@SlothMamaToBe how early was it? I sometimes run mine through a bbt adjuster just to compare, and make a note of it on my chart

Hi @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 how are you? Yeah I would be over the moon if it had gotten a tiny bit darker, but it actually seems lighter. If I hadn't had so many chemicals it wouldn't be so bad. I'm just going to keep my 🤞

I know, it's really horrible waiting around, and worse after losses. But I'm hopeful for you it'll be okay. It's rubbish that all we can do is wait to see. Are you up to much this weekend?

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 What are your plans? I did have plans that involved a hot tub and drinks lol now it's a meal out and picnic at the beach, so still a nice wkend 😁

@lemondrizzle44 sorry to hear that, hopefully she doesn't show up but you know your own body so it sounds like you're sure she is on the way.

@slothmamatobe it's amazing the difference in temps dependent on time. DD woke us at 3am so I took it just as a precaution and it was 97.45f, I fell asleep again and did it at my normal time and it was 97.9f which is a pretty huge swing.

@drinksometeawithme what did you use to test? I definitely noticed a difference between the different types of test (e.g. BFP on FRER and nada on an IC for a good few days after). Fingers crossed the line darkens! 🤞🤞

Sounds like a lovely weekend! Good weather hopefully also. Dinner with friends tonight, seeing my mum tomorrow, and a meal with other friends on Sunday. Going away next week (UK) but can't wait for a change of scenery!

I used frer, I am 8dpo today. They are all vvv faint though x

@drinksometeawithme A faint line is definitely possible on the FRER at this poiny but it is still really early so perhaps line progression won't be quite as much due to that. Can you resist testing until Sunday, give it time to get a bit stronger.

I'm OK, 8DPO as well and my boobs are pretty sore but not testing, we only DTD twice and not on ideal days due to being away over my fertile period and looking back at my previous symptoms, sore boobs mean nothing!

@ContadoraExplorer 8dpo here too, and didn't test this morning. I've got absolutely none of my usual symptoms - no back ache, no bloating, no cramps, no sore boobs 🤷‍♀️ normally I'd have them for a few days at this point

I am hoping it's just because I'm early. But I am an early shower... if I haven't had a positive by 10dpo then I would assume I'm out (I will still test until af shows though 🤦🏼‍♀️). I am a poas addict pretty sure I would last until Monday lol

My chart still looks okay, no major symptoms...slightly sore boobs but I often have them post-ovulation so can't read much into that

Does anyone else get temping anxiety? I'm always a bit scared to look at the thermometer in case my temp has dropped

I'm 8dpo as well! (Hi a1, we're on 35+ together) I tested with a frer today and got a vvvvvfl which I thought was an indent but it's got pink at the ends so 🤷‍♀️ This is my first month of temping properly and I think it looks ok?! Like @polkadotpixie I also temp vaginally and my temps are much higher than orally. Somebody said that it looked like my chart might turn out triphasic bc of the rise at 7dpo but I'm not sure what needs to happen now for that to be the case??

👋 @Noodella18 we are! How are you feeling about your line? I got a super super super faint (most likely indent) frer and now very confused! Only tested because it going out tonight, but none the wiser!

@Noodella18 For your chart to be triphasic there has to be a sustained second temp shift. It's meant to be indicative of a BFP but mine definitely wasn't triphasic with my son so you can still get a BFP without
