Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

There's another thread on Mumsnet, I noticed last night, talking about periods going weird and it seems like a lot of people, not necessarily TTC, are having random spotting/late periods etc. I think it might be partly due to covid, being out of a routine, maybe not getting as much Vit D as we should be etc. Perhaps causing problems with testing too.

I've had my rise this morning so think I ovulated yesterday/last night. DTD Thurs/Fri and will try again tonight as well. No crosshairs yet but presume FF will confirm in the next few days. Chart against last month cause I like a comparison!

Having really weird pains in my pelvis this month though, weird way of describing it but feels like my ovaries are bruised and it gets more noticeable when I first sit down (TMI but it did not make for a particularly comfortable BD last night!) so not sure what's going on with it.

@ContadoraExplorer - that’s interesting about people’s periods going weird - definitely something I can relate to since ttc.

Do you think your pains are ovulation pain? I’ve been having similar last couple days and presumed was that - quite low down on either side? Had ewcm with blood in today too so thinking that egg must have been released.

Still got positive opk- 3rd day in a row ! Does that mean I need to continue DTD? 😫 I don’t know if I can any more!!

@slothmamatobe is that on an IC? I find I get a result on them for a couple of days but can't say I remember having three days of result. I'd probably try to DTD though cause I'd be worried about missing it!

We didn't DTD last night, couldn't be bothered! FF updated though so got my ovulation day confirmed.

I have I'm going try really hard not to think too much about it this month as it only leaves me disappointed. AF due 6th-8th (between FF and Ovia) so will try to just wait and see what happens at that point. Hopefully being able to see people will be a nice distraction.

@ContadoraExplorer same! We couldn’t be bothered either! It looks like you dtd on your ovulation day though anyway so that’s great! Hope your tww isn’t too long and drawn out! AF is due around same time for me too. 🙏🙏🙏 for everyone!

Thank you @SlothMamaToBe, all the well wishes mean so much to me - I don't think I've stopped blubbering today over anything and everything!

I've had quite a few symptoms (Im not sure I would have noticed them all if I wasn't symptom spotting like crazy though!)

I definitely felt ovulation this time around and I had an off stomach that night.
Since then I've been full of a cold that came on without warning, been waking up every morning with a really stuffy nose!
My lips have been dry and sore which was also a symptom for me in October with my pregnancy loss.
I've had niggly pains and twinges in the last few days that feel a little like someone is poking me slightly on the left.
Today I felt flutter type feelings in my stomach and I've been very moody recently (according to DP 🙈)
Since my MC in December I've had literally no cm at all during my cycles. However a few days ago I had thick lotiony cm for a day which was unusual for me, now its non existent again.
Oh and my boobs are feeling very heavy and my nipples are huge - sorry for the TMI. My DP was quick to point them out!

This cycle I used preseed, evening primrose oil and magnesium oil.
We also tried to Bd for the 2 days leading up to ovulation instead of relying on when I got a static smiley. Although I can't be sure of when I conceived.

My temps have started dropping. So AF will definitely make an appearance tomorrow 😞 onto next cycle x

I still haven’t got cross hairs on my chart, despite the fact it looks like I’ve already had 3 day temp rise. I’m convinced I have ovulated by now. Maybe there is something I don’t understand as still getting to grips with monitoring bbt. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Morning @SlothMamaToBe - looks like you did ovulate but maybe it’s because your temps are not above pre-O temps that it doesn’t count them?
AF arrived for me this morning but my temps had been coming down so it was expected and I feel ok about it. Sometimes I weirdly find it a relief when AF arrived and I can just plan the next cycle instead of the endless waiting and symptom spotting.
