We're a mixed bunch of ladies ttc with all sorts of issues, mainly of the male factor kind! 😏 Though there's a range of reasons over here, come join if you've been in the ttc game for a long time and had nearly every test under the sun ☀️ and heading for interventions. @CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker thank you! I'm hoping I can get it booked for cd6 or 7 so that we don't have to miss a cycle. It'll be private so hoping I can stipulate the day. We don't have sex on my period so should be all good! It'll be end of the month so before my 6th April appointment so all good! I was losing and then gained it bk 🤦🏾‍♀️ was only a few lbs mind. Trying again but it's my bday Friday so no doubt I'll eat badly then! I've not kept up with the cardio so need to get bk into that stat!! The lack of movement is defo not helping matters, lockdown is the pits! Mines a Pinot Grigio chin 😂

@Dogmum13 but slow to catch up as still feeling crao after lap and hsg, my oh has ED which is much better but issues with morphology and count, we actually went for every 2nd to 3rd day and used artificial insemination too to take some pressure off which really helps x

@notyetamumbuttrying my lap and hsg was not in relation to my cycle as they just snuck me in on a cancellation so I had it 4 days after AF due, checked hpt then started norethisterone 7dpo, hadn't abstained as didn't know at that point! Finished norethisterone day before investigations and still negative, AF arrived today so just to be aware if they can slot you in with NHS it may not necessarily be at start of cycle although thars preferable x

Morning all, virtually certain AF will arrive today, the spotting is getting heavier and now has a red tinge. Utterly crap as you shouldn't really get a period while on the progesterone supplements, guess they aren't high enough for me. I know I'm still not totally out but I'm 99% sure i am. I just feel numb and knowing we now have to wait to start again just makes me sad. Feeling really down today 😞

@kerrym87 yes he definitely has ED issues from time to time and PE is pretty severe which I think makes the ED worse because he feels bad about it

@motherofkittens28 I am so sorry if this is the case :( that's so gutting - when do you test and stop the progesterone?

It might be worth tracking your spotting so that your clinic can up the dose for next time as it may not be high enough. I spotted on them but didnt get a full period untill I stopped. It isnt enough to raise your progesterone from zero up to the required level but if you already have some then it increases it if that makes sense

Thanks @Annny27, I've been letting the clinic know but my spotting started 3 days after the embryo transfer, basically when all the symptoms from the hcg trigger went away. 6 days of spotting just seems really off to me but they have just been saying don't worry until its red. I have been worried my natural progesterone is low, I had to have a repeat of my day 21 bloods because my first result was borderline at 22.5 I think. The second one was 42 I think so they then never looked at it again but surely there is a reason for the inconsistency?

@kerrym87 I'll get the hycosy privately rather than wait on the nhs. Then I'll be fully prepared for my nhs appointment so that they either do ivf or bring my lap forward. Sorry AF arrived hun! X

Had my appointment this morning, she never bothered with urine test she said it's not very reliable and hcg can take time especially with women with pcos, so she took my bloods & I'm back on Thursday morning for second bloods, so il know the results of the first then, she thinks that last weeks bleed was IB I'm not very hopefully as I did a clear blue last night and it was the most faintest line, like a camera couldn't even pick up 💁‍♀️ so il know for sure Thursday morning what's going on

@Motherofkittens28 so sorry I can imagine what you are going through 😔 have everything crossed for you that it is just spotting.

Guys AF isn't here yet and I've never wanted it to be here so much in my life! It's making its way and I think it will be here tomorrow which means I'll have to push my baseline scan back a day or so 🙄

@notyetamumbuttrying only take Clomid CD2-6 so last dose is tomorrow night. The hot flushes started creeping back last night. Can't wait for them full force again 🤦🏽‍♀️

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker the Letrozole caused me to put on weight end of last year 😭 I now just have no motivation to do anything about it

@Crazydoglady123 I know she is bloody annoying no pun intended 🤣 I'm feeling ok, very nervous about how I respond to the ivf meds and how many eggs we will get etc but trying to just focus on one step at a time. Hope the clomid flushes aren't too bad for you this time!

@Narwhal88 yeah I bet! How many follicles did you have on your AFC scan again? I've been following the IVF March/April thread you're on as just feel like knowledge is power haha! My consultation is tomorrow but hoping as it's private and no wait time I can start my IVF on my next cycle around due around 10th April. Have my scan on Monday to see what the Clomid is doing this time. I keep worrying if I have a load of follicles due to ovulate like last time they'll tell me to abstain. I never got pregnant when I potentially released 5 eggs last before so in my head I keep thinking just ignore what they say and go for it but not sure if that's a bit dangerous 🤷🏽‍♀️

@Crazydoglady123 yeah I used to follow older IVF threads to see what happens as well! My AFC was 19 and AMH 44 so I'm hoping for an ok number but they are putting me on a low dose so maybe not!
I don't blame you for wanting to go for it but it probably is dangerous, not sure what I would do though! Hope your consultation goes well tomorrow, what clinic is it with?

@Narwhal88 such great numbers! Yours is male factor isn't it? Has Dh had a repeat SA yet?

@Narwhal88 that's really good then! Be interesting to see how much the count varies on your baseline scan. I had 18 on my AFC. Find out my AMH tomorrow on the consultation. I'm going with Simply Fertility (part of The Fertility Partnership). Who are you with?

Thank you @notyetamumbuttrying, @Aimzie, @Crazydoglady123, @Tofu35, @Narwhal88! Clinic have finally come back and said that I can test a day early on Wednesday. They say that if the ivf hasn't worked, likely because the embryo wasn't normal. Im almost full flow AF now so I hardly see the point in testing but they make you even if you're bleeding.

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah DH has had 3 SAs, there was a slight improvement but still crap, the only thing that is normal now is the motility. Count was 4million/ml at highest and morphology between 1-2%. I think I have endo and adenomyosis but they haven't found anything my side.

@Crazydoglady123 fingers crossed for your AMH but should be fine with an AFC of 18. I'm with Care fertility but NHS funded.

@Motherofkittens28 so sorry to hear you are bleeding now, at least you can test a day early to get closure on this round, hopefully you can go again soon 😢

@Narwhal88 have you had a laparoscopy or will you not bother now you're doing ivf? I really think the proxeed plus helped my dhs count and morphology. Does he take any supplements?
