We're a mixed bunch of ladies ttc with all sorts of issues, mainly of the male factor kind! 😏 Though there's a range of reasons over here, come join if you've been in the ttc game for a long time and had nearly every test under the sun ☀️ and heading for interventions. @Crazydoglady123 not at all, I was an idiot for testing, I know how upset a negative makes me but I still often can't resist the lure! Im definitely leaving it until next Thursday now though

@Motherofkittens28 aww hang in there get cosied up with the pj's and watch some rubbish TV give you something else to concentrate on try to stay positive 💕

@Motherofkittens28 how many dpo are you? Must be so hard getting in the headspace to go again. Do you have embryos frozen for the next round? I'm still hoping it's just too early and you won't need the next round!
@Marvellouslymadmum I would ask for the figures so that you can see for yourself. I had to go and collect mine from the GP. Have you been referred to fertility yet? I got my amh on the nhs but only once I was referred. I did afc privately as I wanted the full picture. Don't wait if you can afford to go private.

@notyetamumbuttrying I've emailed them to ask for the results so hopefully I will get them ok, I haven't been referred to fertility she basically said everything's fine so keep trying! I may phone back tomorrow and speak to another doctor (as I know she's not in tomorrow) and just say I'm worried about leaving it and trying again because we've been trying for so long and I'm 42! I don't think she got the urgency at all 😕

@crazycatlady1981 yup. 80 days no af. Previous cycle was about 224 days. But norethistorone was supposedly going to work. I took it cd32. But I’ve struggled to get a hold of my clinic. Provera should work to give me af. Then I can take letrozole again

You’re all keeping me going. Guess I just feel a bit down about it just now. But being able to take another letrozole cycle will cheer me up!

@Yutes being in that limbo stage is hard. That's where I struggle the most and even the nurse at my IVF clinic the other day said the same thing. You just feel so much more positive when you're trying or doing something towards it. The waiting to start the next thing is a load of bull. Do you have acupuncture to help your cycles?

@notyetamumbuttrying I think they count the egg collection as ovulation day, in which case I'm 10dpo, im 5 days post embryo transfer. No, they only retrieved one egg so the embryo on board is our only chance this round!

@Crazydoglady123 no acupuncture but I was thinking of reflexology. With the way covid is at the moment I’m not sure I could face attending acupuncture sessions tbh!

@Marvellouslymadmum it’s awful when they don’t give you actual results! Can you sign up for online access to your records? That’s what I did, so I can view any test results whenever I want. You could get some private tests done through medichecks. I wasn’t offered day 3 tests by GP so I got them done myself and it was lucky too as the fertility nurse needed them the other day!

@Motherofkittens28 so sorry about your bfn, still early days so there’s plenty of time for bfp. We are all here for you, try and stay positive! 💕

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I have the same feelings towards Mother’s Day! I like your plan!! 👍🏻 I lost my mum 20 years ago so it’s never been a great day for me and now I’m struggling to become a mum myself, it’s made that day a double stab in the heart! ☹️ Mother’s Day can bugger off until I’ve got a little one to enjoy it with! Going to act like it’s just a regular Sunday and enjoy a walk with my DH and a big piece of cake!! No alcohol to drown my sorrows sadly as I’m in tww so trying to be good!

@crazycatlady1981 it's so frustrating! I emailed them yesterday and haven't heard back yet, will call if no reply in the next couple of hours and see what they say. I was thinking about medichecks but keep getting told by some people the most clinics won't take and tests done like that 😕 so I'm a bit stuck with what to do now

@Marvellouslymadmum massively understandable! I would look into private clinics if you can. I'm with care London and they're all over the country. Create is another good one.

@RobinRose glad you're ok and feeling chilled. I'm ok too and just feeling very optimistic which will prob slap me in the face when I come on, but it's nice to feel we have a chance again now that sperms improved. Just panicked that my tubes are blocked now

@crazycatlady1981 same!!! I lost my mum when I was a teen and so mothers day always was hard and now after miscarriage and I fertility it's even harder!!

I managed to get my results from the gp though they're pretty awkward to read! It's says -

progesterone is 60.5 and should be 13.1-46.3 in the luteal phase,
FSH 4.5 should be 1.7-7.7 in Lp
LH 8.6 should be 1.0-11.4 in Lp
Oestrogen 1127 should be 222-854 in Lp

Other than that just my fbc are still slightly off as iron levels are still low but much better.

So from what I can tell I have mega progesterone and oestrogen, not sure what that means and the fsh and Lh are fine 🤷🏼‍♀️
If anyone wants to know what the levels should be in any phase I have that info on there too which I thought was handy

@notyetamumbuttrying nothing wrong with being optimistic! I'm feeling the same way about my tubes, everything else that has been tested is ok so it does worry me. I'm going to mention it in the fertility consultation!

Mothers day doesn't overly bother me. I have step children so one of them usually acknowledges me but I'm not hurt If they don't. Must be really hard for some of you though.
