We're a mixed bunch of ladies ttc with all sorts of issues, mainly of the male factor kind! 😏 Though there's a range of reasons over here, come join if you've been in the ttc game for a long time and had nearly every test under the sun ☀️ and heading for interventions. I had my AMH in jan and afc in feb and sonographer wouldn't tell me anything on the day of afc. Just waiting after tests then follow up with clinic where I think they're just gonna chuck all the info at is at once....fingers crossed for everyone, excited to hear! Get annoyed with others but cheer for you all on here 🤣

Sooo I went into tescos on my break lol and yes did it in tescos couldn't wait to get home. The line is blue, so I just rang the doctors they said they'd take me in on Monday and decide if I need bloods after urine test 🙄
I checked my other old clear blues and I've never even had evap lines like this.
Just worried tho that levels aren't going up very quick. Now it was mid day very diluted but still 😭😭

@kerrym87 Yeah I didn’t find out my afc until I got the consultant’s letter about it all a month later! Although I didn’t know to ask at the time of scan so he may have told me on the day if I’d asked him! 🤷🏻‍♀️ When’s your follow up due?

@notyetamumbuttrying ooh fabulous! I'm good thank you, currently 8dpo not much hope for this month but looking forward to my blood tests tomorrow and getting the oh to get booked in for an as too

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker yeah it's not the cheapest but like you say worth a try and the fact you can re-use it for a number or cycles is definitely a plus

@Aimzie definitely looks like a positive to me! Let's hope it's a sticky little bean!! It can take a while for hcg to increase so try not to worry

@Crazydoglady123 you have your tests tomorrow too don't you?

@Crazydoglady123 mine counted them out loud 😂 I have 4 on one ovary and 8 on the other so 12 in total which she said didn't correlate to my Amh which was 5.4 🤷🏾‍♀️ so I've come away quite confused! I have a consultation on weds with her so that she can see our whole history and dhs results too and suggest a plan for us.

@notyetamumbuttrying that's a good afc I think, which means your afc is higher than what your AMH would indicate which is why they are confused?

Hi everyone! Hope you’re keeping ok! Had my first appointment with GP. She’s referring for scan for me and SA for DP. Bloods also booked. DP was a bit taken aback about having to provide sample in the hospital , I think he thought he could just do it at home... the GP said that because we already have children from previous relationship we wouldn’t qualify for IVF on nhs 😔. There’s no way we can afford to go private. GP sounded hopeful that maybe it was just a matter of time ... I hope she is right.

@Narwhal88 it was more me that was confused rather than them lol! I guess they don't see that too often but I'll find out more on weds then. As long as somethings good, I'm happy lol! How are you?

@SlothMamaToBe oh I didn't think you'd have to go to hospital for the SA! How soon are your bloods and scan bookings? Has anyone else here had to do the SA at hospital rather than GP?

@2020mission yeah we have a maternity/fertility hospital here which is where we are being referred to. Apparently there’s a little room with some optional ‘material’ to help (this caused a little upset but that’s another story 😒) . DP is worried he won’t be able to do it in such a clinical environment. 🤞 he doesn’t have to ! In my 2ww now!

@SlothMamaToBe aww yeah giving a simple in there isn't ideal as it's not exactly a sexy environment 😅 I was hoping if my husband needs to do it he could do it at home then quickly get to the GP within the hour to drop it off! Suppose it's more accurate if they can provide on site and get it looked at ASAP though. Still beats the bloods etc that we have to do 😆 our tests are definitely less fun!

@2020mission I know right! Apparently I also have to have a swab for chlamydia too - just to rule everything out .

@notyetamumbuttrying oh good! I hope mine does! Have you found any explanation online? Surely a good thing though, right?

@SlothMamaToBe I'm not eligible for NHS ivf but I had things like a Hycosy and Letrozole and Clomid on the NHS.

Bloody AF is playing tricks on me atm. Been spotting since Friday and today thought would start properly as felt crampy and sore boobs but it hasn't got to what I'd call "normal flow" yet but when I've wiped a few times there's been a lot of blood and then the next time I'd go to the loo absolutely nothing 🤷🏽‍♀️ There's a bit of blood enough I've worn a pad but not like normal. I've always been told to count my day based on first day of "full flow" but not sure if this is and need to start my Clomid on day 2...

@crazycatlady1981 no follow up appt yet but my consultant is doing my investigations Friday so hopefully I'll be lucid enough after GA to ask if she can give me any results of what they've seen while they're in there and when to expect follow up. Should be able to remember.....

@Aimzie that looks a little darker than the previous one you put up so fingers crossed! Never even had the faintest hint of an evap myself so if I can see it it must be there!🤣

On a humorous note my OH has previously done all his samples at home but obviously for the ivf he had to do it at the clinic. On the way home he was telling me it was very funny because they gave him a cup big enough to put his whole willy in so nothing would get spilled! Highlight of the day I think!

@2020mission yeah my Dh went to the hospital for his.
@Crazydoglady123 I can't find anything that explains it. 😆 Will just try and patiently wait for the consultation! I'm hoping it's a good thing, literally no idea though?!
Hmm frustrating with the odd period, not sure what to suggest really.

@2020mission yep my DH had to do his first SA at the private clinic as it was 1 1/2 hours away! He was so nervous! But he’ll have to do it there again for the ivf so at least he’s been through it already!

@notyetamumbuttrying that sounds like a good afc! 😊 I read somewhere that between 3-8 on each ovary is good! Did you get SA results yet?

@Annny27 nooo 😭😭 I said I'd patiently wait on the frers coming, still no sign of them 🙄
Woke up and thought I had AF, there was just a tint of light pink, but it's gone now the last few hours and I've no cramps and temps still up 🤞 don't know what to make of it, but as long as she stays away il stay hopeful 😘😘
OH is really hopeful now too, I'll feel so bad if i let him down😩😩 he just couldn't stop smiling at me yesterday 😭 probably should have waited to tell him about it all until I was sure 😪
