@Marvellouslymadmum hahah I'm the exact same the only thing I think I've learned from it is that I must be ovulating if it goes up in the second part of my cycle. Other than that I have no idea why I bother. 🤣

@crazycatlady1981 I know I've read the same thing, 18 days of high temp is a good sign. Yeah sometimes mine doesn't even drop before AF, not very reliable 👀

Just got the call, all your crossed fingers paid off as its now an 8 cell embryo and developing great. Apparently they look for it to be between 6 and 9 cells at this stage. Hurdle 2 passed! Apparently they will only call me Saturday morning if it hasn't progressed otherwise I'm heading for embryo transfer at 11:40 on Saturday. Praying not to hear from them!

@Aimzie mine doesn't even do that! I'll attach this month so far and last month, they're so irratic that I don't even get a cover line amd I take it at the same time every day etc 🤷🏼‍♀️ but last month I never got a peak opk just highs and lows and highs and lows lol this month I got a peak bit from looking at the temps it doesn't totally agree I've ovulated 😕

@notyetamumbuttrying I've just managed to move my scan and bloods to a bit earlier as that was 2.15pm and the consultation the week after they haven't got any earlier appointments but I've just arranged with my mum to take him to school 🙌 I'm in the same boat as you now trying to get my history off the hospital or my doctors to take with me Tuesday. Getting real now isn't it! 😬

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker ahh he really needs to get that seen to! It could literally sort it all 😬 I feel the same as you with knowing we have to go through it all and they get the easy part! I've already said I want a push present too 😂

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker loving "Wine-Tuesday". You'll be fine, honestly. WTF is it with men? They're so fine about us going through hell and back but even them having a blood test endures a total meltdown 🤷🏽‍♀️

@notyetamumbuttrying hahaha I'd be on his case constantly to ring them 😂 That's the sort of thing mine would deffo put off.
So I spoke to the IVF clinic and the hospital hadn't sent them my history as they promised last week 😩 The nurse had said they would fax them but turns out my IVF clinic doesn't have a fax! They said last week too she couldn't give them to me (which is strange) and the IVF clinic said they can and is safer than faxing/emailing/posting them! Spoken to my doctors to see if they have the history and they have had the odd letter forwarded to them from my consultant but none of the test results so trying to find out what's going on 😬

I know this is a tad unprofessional but my consultant is on Linkedln and Instagram... could I send him a message for my history...or to even get the phone number for his secretary...?

@CreativeThinkerTequilaDrinker I've got mine next Friday! I'm being knocked out though as they're having a look inside my abdomen (which people have told me is sore after mainly cos if all the gas they pump in you!), I've asked people who've had hyscosy alone and it wasnt too bad, just have painkillers after I was told not to have any before as they'll give me them during so they don't overdose but if you haven't had your pre op appt yet you can ask about taking painkillers beforehand or ring them x

@Motherofkittens28 fingers crossed for you! @Aimzie I tried to stop temping in run up to hsg and laparoscopy as on norethisterone to delay period and it makes your temps rise. However, despite no alarm I've woken up the same time every day anyway so I've taken it! I have 15 day luteal phase, once had a 16 day with spotting for 3 days which wasnt normal , negative tests. So now I temp to predict when af will arrive for my preparation and wont do a test unless af late by at least 2 days as my temp doesn't drop till after af arrives. Fingers crossed for you x

@kerrym87 is that a laparoscopy you're having? My Hycosy they told me to take painkillers 30 mins before my appointment but you have to take antibiotic tablets in the clinic with them before you leave.

Panic over, I found someone in gynaecology who can help and my consultant is actually taking phone appointments at the min so he's going to call me- what a ledg!

Hey all, so randomly my OH has been contacted by our dr for his covid vaccine and he has an appointment on Saturday morning! He is only 41! I dont get it

@Motherofkittens28 I don't get half the way NHS works!

My consultant just called me and he's getting the nurse to email my history tomorrow. I then was like "so I've been reading up on this stuff which I can't really pronounce so I'm going to spell it" 😂 long story short he's never heard of it but he had a quick google and said as it's natural and can help with the hot flushes then go for it 🤷🏽‍♀️

@notyetamumbuttrying 👋 hey all hope you don't mind me popping in mid way through this thread but I've reached 15 cycles TTC and really want to join a group of ladies who're experiencing a long journey too. Should be starting tests at the GP later this month to finally get some answers on why it's taking so long!

I'm 33 (in just over a week) TTC my first baby and started trying in January 2020. I have quite short cycles so that's why I'm already at cycle 15.

@Motherofkittens28 That's strange about the vaccine... does your OH have no medical conditions? My husband just got his invite through but he's type 1 diabetic so that makes sense. I have heard some areas sometimes have surplus so those without conditions have been invited to use them up when that happens 🤷‍♀️ maybe that?

@Crazydoglady123 I rang and then threw the phone at him when they answered 😂 couldn't get the result. She wasn't the right person n didn't know who to put us through to 🙄 and said to email again! So will try again tomorrow as we were both busy with work today so couldn't go on hold again. Oh how annoying that the hospital hadn't sent it over! Glad it's getting sorted tho n u got through to someone!
