9DPO and fighting the urge to test

9DPO and AF due 2nd March. Fighting the strong urges to symptom spot and test. Wasted money last month with early BFNs so I am determined to wait until AF is due but the days are so long...who’s with me?

11DPO today. AF due Tuesday. I only have CB digital in the house and not ordering any other tests so that should keep me away from them as I don’t want to waste those! Keep us updated if you do test

Hi I'm due on on Monday 1st :) believe I'm 10dpo have no test at home so haven't done any yet. Just a serial symptoms checker have had sore boobs since 6dpo which I rarely have. and severe constipation sorry if tmi. But took clomid tablets this month so could have caused me to have strange symptoms. Today I'm very emotional have cried already since getting up. Cause I had a dream that I did 5 pregnancy tests and they where all positive then woke up and couldn't find them :( .. I have two D'S. Been TTC for 2.5years after a MC 3.5years ago... Wishing you all luck.

I had a massive temp drop this morn so af is on her way.. no testing for me!

@Hopefulhedgehog Honestly so happy! It took 17 months to conceive with DS! This is most definitely a lucky thread I can feel it! Please keep me updated with how you get on x

I'm 6 or 7dpo and really wanted to hold-out but I think I'm gonna start cheapies from Monday which will be 9 or 10dpo hoping I can catch some of the magic from this lucky thread!
This is cycle 3, #1. I feel like I've had a few symptoms but could just be kidding myself as it's so early.

Oh hey @glow92 I remember you from the desogestrel thread?! I’m sure it was you! Sprinkling lots of luck over your way! I took a test at 7dpo stupidly and got bfn so definitely try and stick it out for a could few days! I tried an IC today after my FRER and the IC was soooooo faint literally a squinter! But the FRERS are pretty solid!

@Sunny1986 I’m feeling the same about AF! With DS I took a test before AF arrived too and my digital said 2-3 weeks but this time around I’ve ovulated super late!

@LittleGwyneth I know how hard it is to not poas! But everything is crossed for you for Monday! Let us know! And let us know if you cave before 🤭 X

@Gigi1109 haven’t caved yet. Now it’s the weekend I think I’ll be able to last until at least Monday - that will be 14DPO. Think AF is due Tuesday but not exactly sure as I had an oddly short cycle last month and then ovulated quite early on CD11 this time.

Had very mild cramps on and off all day which is making me feel quite hopeful. AF normally comes out of the blue for me and I wouldn’t get any cramps before.

@Hopefulhedgehog totally get that. The weekend is always easier to take your mind off of it for a bit! AF was due tues/weds for me too so my fingers are crossed for you. Also, the reason I ordered FRERs yesterday was because I was cramping and had more this morning and it’s great that it’s not the norm for you so I’m feeling hopeful for you also!

@Gigi1109 ahhh yes, that was cycle 2 for me I was learning so much!
I have a couple FRERs that I bought right at the start, don't want to waste them until I think I'm onto something 😂.

Last month I only got to 9DPO before AF so I've got short luteal phase worries on my mind a bit.

Cramps are the only symptom I'm feeling at the moment - bulk bought lots of ovulation and pregnancy tests over Xmas in prep for TTC so just had to test cos they were in the house!

@glow92 number 1 for me too, have no idea what I'm doing! Haha. Any other first timers on this thread?

@Sunny1986 I'm a first timer too🥳 although pretty sure af is arriving for me this evening... on to next month!

@Sunny1986 I kinda threw myself in at the deep-end using OPK's straight away and started temping and using conceive-plus this cycle - which I thought was good but it's had the total opposite affect anxiety-wise 🤯.
It's so lovely to see things happening for people so quickly though, I really hope I'm not far behind.

Hey could I join? First month TTC, second baby. DS was a total surprise so it feels mad actually planning it this time! I'm only 5dpo so not even thinking of testing yet. Was just going to wait and see if AF arrives or not. Can't talk to anyone irl so thought joining a thread might be nice.

@BrodieKD Ah we're same dpo. Whens AF due for you? Mines 5th March. I think I'll wait til the 8th to test if it hasn't arrived though. The wait is so hard!! It was easier when it was a surprise 😂

Haha I bet! AF is due on 10th so still quite a while.I didn't realise how many things you need to take into consideration when TTC. It's all so new to me. I don't think we DTD on the right days last cycle but used CB this month and went from a circle to smilie on Saturday. What has everyone else been using to track? any tips for a newbie?

@BrodieKD Totally new to this.. what's CB? I've been using natural cycles as contraception when I got my periods back after DS so I just switched the option from prevent pregnancy to try to conceive! I take temp every morning and did use a couple ovulation test sticks but was a bit confused by them.

We DTD every day for a week leading up to what I was expecting to be ovulation day and then totally wasnt feeling it on the actual day 🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping the fact we did it on the few days leading up is enough! No tips sorry, I'm totally new to this too, weirdly!
