Trying for a baby after a miscarriage

I lost my baby at 8 weeks had a d&c on Dec 31 2020. Worst thing that has ever happen to me that same year I had my daughter may 1st 2020 happies year and worst year ever..
Now my husband and I trying again for next baby. I want to try right away so we have been.
Jan 25th had my first ovulation but we did not conceived had my first af after the loss on feb 9th..
I should be ovulating on the 24th been tracking my temp and also using cheap ovulation and also clearblue ovulation ( ya I know I dont need to use all but I have them so why not ) already got a flashing smile but temp still low also cheap ones are still light todays the 18th so is expected to be like this ..
Just wanted to see who will like to do this together this month. Just sharing .. Updates .. encouragement... loving support... Also how your doing on grief on angel babies And on our ways to our rainbow babies ...our bfp ❤❤❤❤❤❤ let me know your updates much love

I'm sorry to hear about your MC. The same happened to me in November so I am roughly a month behind. I've had 2 unsuccessful attempts at ttc since but trying to keep my spirits up. It's starting to cause arguments and resentment between me and my partner and I feel awful for my son because I so want him to have a sibling. So not fully over the grief to be honest. I hope you are feeling better and I'm sending you positive vibes because I know exactly how tough this is! Xx

@Lovegirl1232 hey hun sorry for your loss. Also had a mc at the end of jan. Pregnancy test is negative just waiting for hcg to go down and my period to come back and I will try again. Its really hard. I was 11 weeks. I searched alit so I'm on folic and vd as I wasnt on this before. Heard aspirin also helps. I'm confused did u mc and get pregnant cos you put mc in dec 20 and had dd in may 2020. Lol. Anyway fingers cross we get our little one this yr. Amen

I miscarried on 7th Feb at around 7 weeks with our 3rd. It had taken a while to conceive this time so it was very sad, we had been so happy about a new baby.

We are trying again, actually think I might be ovulating today if I count the first day of the miscarriage as day 1 of my cycle. Wasn’t sure whether to wait for emotional reasons as I know I’ll take it quite hard if we don’t get pregnant again soon, but I’m 37 so don’t feel like time is on our side.

@Poplartree1 to tell you the truth I'm still very upset about the loss I'm still like how did this happen. I'm sorry trying is causing stress between y'all keep your head up love.. You using anything to track if your ovuating?
@Lizbb I too i am taking my prenatals and folic acid nothing else .are you doing the baby aspirin how dose that help ?? Did doctor tell you to take. O I had a baby on May 1st on 2020 n got pregnant again on nov something but then lost baby and had my d&c Dec 31 2020 ...
@supollard have you check your ovulation .. With a test I heard it can change after a loss be good to know if you are so you can well be sure where your at.. .. I know didnt know if I wanted to wait but time is come up and it seem I really want this .. Was this your first baby trying on ur second for me this be my 5 baby including angel baby

@Lovegirl1232 hey no not yet. Some pp take whe n they ovulate but will start with small dose when I get a bfp. 75mg. Apparently it's good for pp who has suffered from a mc and there is no harm. I have a kids already. I'm 36 so hoping to get 1 more in before 40 lol

@Lovegirl1232 this will be our third child if we get lucky enough to have another. We have two sons aged 5 and 7. Didn’t expect such a big gap but the pandemic and it taking longer than expected to get pregnant this time has ended up where we are. I’m a nurse so stopped trying for most of last year.

I don’t want to get obsessive about it, but I did a pregnancy test on tues to make sure it was negative (advised by the EPU), and I have done some ovulation tests this week to see if things have started going again. They suggested ovulation today which fitted in with a normal cycle if you take the miscarriage as day one.

@Poplartree1 is it worth maybe taking a break from it for a month? Just to reset and take some pressure off? But obviously I know that is really hard to contemplate.

@Lizbb I’ve heard about people taking aspirin but also am cautious of taking it unless recommended (the nursing side of me, unprescribed worries me!), have heard some pros and cons and would hate to take it and cause a problem. Maybe look into it a bit more? I have a good friend who was recommended it after three miscarriages but that came from a fertility specialist

@Lovegirl1232 yea I know what you mean at prescription. I have restarted my period yet, if I was checking ovulation would I start the first of my period from the day I started to mc? Didnt no that

@Lizbb what I did was test .. I actually only tested when I got a bad bad headache and thats how I knew

I've been using ovulation sticks but I'm one of those strange people who can feel when I ovulate because I get pains. I'm not sure I'll use the sticks next month because it's making me obsessive and causing a lot of pressure for my partner. Are you tracking? X

@Poplartree1 hiya yea I no what you mean with the ovulation symptoms. I've just set up flo app. And have just counted my period from day 1 of bleeding. As I dtd on valentine's day this would mean it was done 3 or 4 days after my peak. Still waiting on my period once back will track properly.

Good luck everyone and keep us updated. I had positive ovulation test Monday and think I ov on Tues but not holding out much hope this month because we bd on Sunday - Valentine's and nothing after so that would be 2 days before ovulation. Wishing everyone the best ❤️

I did a clearblue ovulation test and still got a flashing smiley. It makes me happy to see it. Husband and I baby dance every other day when I get a flashing face. How many times y'all baby dance if y'all dont mind me asking onces I get the solid face we do it every day and 3 days after .. Its alot of us time lol

So question what do you lady's do to cope with the lost of your baby. I'm just lost I been doing what I feel is right for me at the time I feel sad. I got to buried my love at my church so I still visit every days since I buried it. I miss it very much still? If its to hard to talk about it please dont feel the need to respond 🥀

Hard to answer the second d part. I didnt plan my last mc however I did feel sad for a while. Hot stuck into work and I have a 3 and 5 and building going on. So really busy its keeping me preoccupied. I also spoke to my pastor. It helps to talk to someone. But now that I am planning this one and if I did loose it I will be heartbroken. God knows what or how I will feel. It helps speaking to someone and if you need to cry dont hold back. X

No not more than once but every other day once at night.. And after I hit peak is once but every night for 3 days in a row

Also update I think I'm getting close ovulation. Line is starting to get dark so exciting.

I went for my 12 week scan on the 15th Jan, to find out baby stopped growing at around 7 weeks. I was in total shock first pregnancy first baby, I had surgical management on the 29th Jan. And got my negative on the 19th feb. Just waiting for af to start so we can't trying again.

@Waterb0ttle hi hun so sorry for your loss. It's so.hard. had mines at 11 weeks but it happen natural. First time so it was a shock and very painful. I'm like you just waiting on my period and hoping ttc asap. Just order the prom app test and will use that. Might also use cb, as my ovulation might be messes up at the moment. Stay rested and keep in touch

@Lovegirl1232 hiya congrats on hitting peak lol. Do you use cb to test? 2 week window should be after the 2 peak period I assume or count back from when your next period is. Nit to sure. Anyone else. Or try to goggle it. That's what I've been doing alot of. Loool good luck. Let us know

Me and husband have decided not to track ovulation this time, because I literally got obsessed with it wasn't good for either of us 😊 we choose the relaxed root this time round 😊

And yeah it's horrible to thought something like this but it's so common and I didn't really know to much about it until it happened to me

@Waterb0ttle yea that's a good approach tbh. That's the way I had my other 2. Calm and relaxed. My hubby saying the same with this one lol. I think cos I had the mc and I'm 36 just wanna make sure. Lol! I doubt I will get obsessed. Dont have time to, with work, kids etc lol

I was diagnosed with a PUL in mid-January, ended up being back and forth there for around a month. They thought I had an ectopic, so I had a laparoscopy but found nothing. My HCG was rising, though, at surprising levels. Countless scans etc., and eventually had a D&E end of Jan which was 'successful' and levels started to drop. I got my negative test last week on the 16th. Hoping I start to notice signs of AF/ovulation soon, I have no idea which will come first.

@danielleb97 sorry to hear of your loss and what you have been facing. It's good that you got the negative test back that's a good sign. I'm waiting on mines but had a bit of bleeding this morning. Hopefully will come fully back soon. I've never bee so excited to have my af back loool

Yes exactly I have to much to worry about right now without tracking aswell, I am only going to track when we have dtd, so for a rough guess that's all 😊🙏

I'm so sorry you went through all of that it must have been so terrible 😢. What would you like to see more signs of af or ovulation?
