So our valentines treats did the trick & we’ve got some BFPs for February...HORRAY!! 🥳♥️😘

We’ve picked up some newbies who come armed with a flesh light for horses, 🐴a penchant for McSteamy & 2 extra Sausages 🐶🍆for us to add to our rowdy bus.

If all else fails we can send our dogs round the country...stud them to each other cos they don’t understand social distancing and get a hella cute bus loads of pups instead, they can then teach us how to do it!

@Kirky658 aww good to hear bless you. I’m alright thank you had a major wobble not long back but just trying to work out what my body is doing. My loss started on the 8th Jan and no period since did a test a week ago which was negative.

@larrythelizard @Florence13 @Kirky658 yes and based on the amount of Q&As at the end there's lots of people in my company struggling with it atm! One of the guys was asking about clomid which I thought was sweet - what an OH!

@Crazydoglady123 a "cycle" will start on calling in on day 1 but by that stage you will have had to have all your tests done before so then you are geared up & ready to go & phone up and "leave dates" on CD1 and that's the cycle you go on and start taking drugs on certain days like day 3, day 7 then scan, depending on what protocol you are on

@Florence13 it was just a bit "can you tone it down a bit as this is getting a bit ridiculous now and we don't want to have to watch you"

@minster2012 my mum asked me what I was giving up for lent yesterday, I said stuff all, as I'm already giving up alcohol, coffee and my body for 9 months 🤣 tea is my vice right now

@Crazydoglady123 snap babe! Feel nuts with all this. We're less time than you though at 17 months ttc. Bloody Sod's law that the cancellation was at the same time as the nhs appointment!! Just weeks to go now hun, you can do it xx
@Juno231 wow interesting on the tsh...need to go check what mine was now!

So finally had my call after she was 30 mins late 🙄 she asked all the questions that were on the questionnaire and in my drs notes but did say she'd sort out the funding so that's good. 6 months to be approved and then 1-2 months to start once approval in so not as bad as what that lady told me but still a way off. I think we'll go private still as I'd like my afc scan sooner rather than later. As long as we don't go over two rounds we'll still get our nhs funding so that'll be our back up should private not work.

@notyetamumbuttrying oof 8 months is still long so I'm glad you're able to go down the private route in the meantime!

@Justanothercyster @paintfairy and thank you both btw, my family are shits unfortunately. OH hates how it affects me :/

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah that's a fair wait. God I hope the IUI wait isn't that here. I'm going that's shorter than the IVF wait. Who knows. But it's hard isn't it.

@notyetamumbuttrying that's perfect! I'm gonna try and get the day 3 test done tomorrow morning (I say try because you never know what happens on the NHS) and then the HSG next Friday. OH hasn't received a letter about his SA yet though and another Londoner I spoke to said that in her area there's a 10 week waiting list for those so I am concerned that will be the big hold up this spring. What's the next appointment for you after today's one has been sorted?

Something to make you laugh if you've been following how rubbish my midwifery csre has been, rang up to make my 16 week appointment today which I didn't know I had to do and was only told by W different midwife who isn't mine yesterday and she booked the appointment then said "bring your notes with you" .... HA👀

@Juno231 & @paintfairy, I just saw your messages about FSH levels. I had my fertility appt yest & mine is above that and the consultant wasn't concerned about it. My overall thyroid results are within the normal range so no medication needed. It's so frustrating hearing one doctor say it's too high and another saying it's ok. They should all be singing from the same hymn sheet!!!

That should be TSH!!

@lucyrp thanks ❤ lol u think ur care is bad? I haven't seen a midwife since my 12 week scan when I saw the consultant. Scan at 19 weeks was literally just that and nothing else 🤷‍♀️ I'm apparently 'high risk due to age and various conditions including kidney disease ffs. Have nurse 2morro to check urine and BP as I've been having headaches for 3 days and some swelling in my hands but it was my own gp who has organised that xx

@Catherinettc omg !! So rubbish! Telling me to bring my notes when I should have had them 7 weeks ago and still no sign of them 🤣 that's terrible! I thought this being my second I'd have less appointments but I've had my booking appointment then my 12 week scan now my 16 week is in two weeks and then my 20 week scan is ay 20 weeks too but actually trying to speak to the midwife is ridiculous. Can't believe they're being like thay with you!

@paintfairy it's pretty shit in terms of ttc defo! That'll see us over two years trying then 😩 never did I think at 33 that I wouldn't have a baby by 35...bdays next month! It's all to with funding approval and as iui isn't as expensive, I doubt the wait will be as long. 🤞🏾
@Juno231 that SA sounds really long! You can't move ahead until that's done either. Hopefully some movement starts! So next up is repeat SA and amh on Monday and Dh has an appointment next weds (we don't know what for). We're speaking two different units within the hospital now so I reckon it's an overlap and he won't need it. They want him to go in and today for me was just a call so I reckon weds will get cancelled once we go in Monday. Then after that I have my afc scan booked privately for 8th March and our initial consultation for the 10th March with a view to starting privately end of March 🤞🏾

@Minster2012 just read your blog, can't believe how reduced those monitors were, that's madness!! They defo work after the sell by date as I was poas out of date advanced ones and they worked perfectly fine!
