So our valentines treats did the trick & we’ve got some BFPs for February...HORRAY!! 🥳♥️😘

We’ve picked up some newbies who come armed with a flesh light for horses, 🐴a penchant for McSteamy & 2 extra Sausages 🐶🍆for us to add to our rowdy bus.

If all else fails we can send our dogs round the country...stud them to each other cos they don’t understand social distancing and get a hella cute bus loads of pups instead, they can then teach us how to do it!

Grab your popcorn for Married for at First Sight, your briefcase for the horse spunk & make your decision on whether you are McSteamy or McDreamy...🩺

We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we talk like it’s a WhatsApp group so be prepared...but don’t worry cos long as you pop in and out & say hello once in a while you can sit on top, we’ve got room for you to chill out if TTC gets too much.

We are a rowdy bus of newbies, oldies with history, excited ladies going forwards for IVF & pregnant mates we can’t get rid of and we are now OWED BIG.

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@lucyrp no, just this morning.
@Tornado2Inc indeed you are 😂
@Minster2012 did you love it?! X

Justanothercyster · 18/02/2021 10:29

@Juno231 yeah we told them around Xmas as we just felt we needed a bit of support from them if we go through ivf etc. They were all lovely and happy for us, but sad about the situation I think. They'd been wondering why we hadn't had kids yet and it helped them understand. It's funny because my dad and stepmom actually started ivf and then my sister was conceived before the egg harvest! So it's nice to know they understand. It's just a shame we can't see them in person because of lockdown 😭
I friggin hate those comments, it's so painful, like a knife stab to the heart. My wider family does that a lot, but it's nice knowing my mum and dad understand the reasons why now. Do you think you'll tell them?

larrythelizard · 18/02/2021 10:31

Ah yeah fair enough @Dollybird89 I used to banish DH to the other room, I find him quite off putting...now I just use the garage!

JustMouse · 18/02/2021 10:31

@Kirky658 - About an hour or so from where OH family are from. We've spoken about a move up there a few times, once he has finished playing action man. But until then I want to be close to my family for the support when he isn't around.

@Minster2012 - I'm so tempted. It's all open on the page to book, just need to put my card details in. It's only £60, so not too bad. I would also like to do a 4d scan about 24-26 weeks and then the NHS will scan me every 4 weeks from 28 weeks, so they tell me at the moment.

Meredithgrey1 · 18/02/2021 10:35

These period pains today are really making me rethink my decision to go through labour again 😭

paintfairy · 18/02/2021 10:36

@Juno231 yes I wondered if it was just a standard thing and it'll probably change.
75 minutes? Wtf?
@Justanothercyster I nearly told my mum just before my phonecall last week. Then decided to wait. Haven't seen her since. Now I think maybe wait until my next appointment when I know what's happening? I dunno. But yeah you are right and it'll stop comments. Although my mum tends to go on about stuff, so if she knew, I wonder if she then would constantly ask and that would be even more annoying! 🤣

lucyrp · 18/02/2021 10:40

@notyetamumbuttrying can you request me again I deleted it by accident ! Sorry wasn't on purpose I promise 🤪

@Justanothercyster I'm not sure really! I think she was just shocked she'd found me and I'd mentioned her but not her name or anything. I felt a bit embarrassed to start with because I obvs wouldn't speak to her like that but do speak to my other friend like I speak on here but I got over it. She uses mumsnet now as a new mum x

@JustMouse mine just popped suddenly! Saturday I was flat and then Saturday night I had a bump!

@Meredithgrey1 sorry to hear you are having a painful af

@Minster2012 have to admit I’m tempted to buy a load of cheapies to keep peeing on as really have no idea whether to expect af or not.

@Justanothercyster aww glad you have a support network around you for your journey.

Florence13 · 18/02/2021 10:50

@Sausage1990 how are you doing?

Juno231 · 18/02/2021 11:04

@Justanothercyster ah and it's handy that they could relate to the ivf part too! I'm an oops baby and there were no problems conceiving my brother so I think my parents are oblivious to what TTC could look like. I doubt they'd ever heard of a fertile week! I'm not actively planning on telling them but if the opportunity arises I will as I think it would be a good idea for them to know.

@Meredithgrey1 I'm so sorry AF is killing you! Is nothing helping? Painkillers, baths, hot water bottles?

@Minster2012 6??? It's tripled?! That's fantastic! Def got some eggies waiting to be harvested then

Justanothercyster · 18/02/2021 11:33

@paintfairy I think if you do tell her just make it clear that you don't expect her to want to ask how you're getting on all the time but if you need her you'll let her know. That's what we did and it's really helped a lot.

@lucyrp awkward!

@Florence13 thank you, it has been really nice to not have to work so hard hiding it all from them!

@Juno231 ahh yes, like so many people who have no clue what ttc can be like! Especially if you're young I've found, although my dad and stepmom were going to do ivf I still had to explain how our fertility issues affected us because we're young, they just couldn't comprehend how young people could struggle with poor sperm and ovulation haha. They were supportive though once I'd explained it all. My dad still thinks we won't need ivf though and I secretly hope he's right 🤞🏼

notyetamumbuttrying · 18/02/2021 11:38

@lucyrp haha re requested you now :) have sent smileyT a msg as spotted her too. Didn't want to just add her without saying hello first.
@Vil10 any updates yet? X

Sorry I'm being a bit shit today and just jumping on reading tagged posts as works quite busy. Will be better at lunchtime, promise! ♥️

Franklydear · 18/02/2021 11:41

Ok, let's try again, Mumsnet is broken
@Minster2012 for what @Juno231 says, your eggs are good🍾🎉
On the tell family for support, my mum would probably put a timetable to measure me against, support is not her thing
I am way more open here than real life, just because I don't feel judged, bestie excluded ,there's no many people I can be honest with

Florence13 · 18/02/2021 11:45

@Minster2012 sorry completely missed your results but yay to levels being good!!!

@Franklydear I feel you my mum would be the same so also a lot more open on here than IRL

Kirky658 · 18/02/2021 11:47

@justmouse what a lovely part of the world to move to!!! ☺️ Agree on the family support part though, we are glad we moved to be near my parents they live 10 mins walk away and dad is going to be chief childcarer so it's worked wonderfully. He is so excited he says he is gonna go to mum and baby groups and everything bless him 😂

@franklydear I know exactly what you mean. I feel I can be totally open with you lot and not be judged at all but can get some genuinely good advice. I think for me it's easier as you don't know who I am and have no preconceptions of me or what I am like as a person (or maybe you do now, haha 🤣). My bestie is great, but she has another bestie who she always supports that bit more. I get a bit jealous sometimes as I do so much for her, always there for her, this other friend of hers only wants her so she can brag about what they get up to on social, winds me right up

Juno231 · 18/02/2021 11:48

@notyetamumbuttrying oih thanks for mentioning smiley - I hadn't spotted her. Embarrassing to say but I never put two and two together to realise her name started with a T 😅

Minster2012 · 18/02/2021 11:48

Sorry no I'm confused @Florence13 @Juno231 @Franklydear I don't have my results yet?
They took 6 vials of blood for my AMH I said? Really confused?!

Minster2012 · 18/02/2021 11:49

Am chasing today

OP posts:
Juno231 · 18/02/2021 11:55

@Minster2012 ah I totally read that as a test update that you got a 6! You didn't mention vials so we got our wires crossed. Sorry! Go chase them though - it's been two weeks xxx

Dollybird89 · 18/02/2021 11:55

@minster2012 🤞maybe we are all being psychic and it's at 6 now lol :) hope it's positive news for you! If not I think we need to sit and have a chat with these ovaries and tell them what a wonderfully mummy you are and life is gonna be full of rainbows! Give em a nude in the right direction eh? If you can pull through this after all your been through there's deffo hope for the rest of us here ! Inspirational Minster!!

Franklydear · 18/02/2021 11:56

Oh @Minster2012 I took that 6 , as being a wonderful result, sorry, back to waiting
