We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We thought we might make it to Valentine’s Day ♥️💓 but oh no we talk too much! If you want to talk most things other than TTC we are the right bus, tv, (married at first sight what the hell?!), pets, annoying DHs, good food & exactly how many orgasms should we be having?

We’ve got a rowdy bus of newbies, oldies with history, excited ladies going forwards for IVF & pregnant mates we can’t get rid of...& February is gonna be BIG!

@notyetamumbuttrying , my first. TTC 3 yrs but the first 2 yrs was Seeing what happens. Then I did some research, pushed for referrals and understand my body a lot more.

It took me a long time to build up the courage to go in the styrups for tests.
Looking back I think what's the fuss about but looking forward I have to pep talk myself.

So now I'm on clomid and learning about IVF

@Katao I always have short cycles too 24-28. I feel lucky sometimes as at least a fail and BFN is out of the way sooner and you can start again but then it also feels bad in a way as I wonder is there enough time for the egg to mature for a CD 10 ovulation? 😅

@Ronnii oh wow so a good while then! I take it you don't always ovulate then if you're on clomid? Have you got any ivf appointments lined up? I have our first one 22nd feb. We have male factor and I reckon I might have endo. Hoping to start those investigations ASAP as the pain is getting unbearable recently.

Sorry I've been absent. My 16 year old ds has been so ill (still is) absolutely convinced it was the dreaded covid but alas negative test 🤷‍♀️ think it might be tonsillitis or something. No covid symptoms tbf but temp shot up go 38.8 so I panicked. Hes a trooper tho the poor boy hasn't complained once ❤

Plenty of fluids and soothers etc and hopefully be back to normal in a couple of days.

Will get proper replies to u all when I get a minute to do so ❤❤❤

@2020mission that's exactly it! Feel lucky to not be hanging around with nothing to do and its more chances but then I wonder are they quality chances! Did you ever ring your gp? If I remember rightly you were considering it but hesitant?

@notyetamumbuttrying I wish I could. She does more than the 3 hours a day she's paid for but at what health cost? I want him to move up near me into a home because I think he would benefit the routine etc but he's insistent he wants to stay where he is and stick with what he has in place as be don't want a change. I can't force it atm but at some point I will have to as I do hold power of attorney. Maybe it's good that I'm holding off actively ttc atm lol

AF arrived today . Felt like it might be coming though as I had leg aching/pain last night like normally comes with AF. After the initial disappointment I am ok and moving on to the next cycle and keeping fingers crossed for that. Made DH get me chocolate haha. I guess that means more DTD for me ! Finding a positive haha. It’s been a weird and unusually long cycle with a very late ovulation (I think all due to pregnacare which I have now stopped) so although I was hoping, I think I wasn’t ever convinced it would be our month. Now working from the sofa with painkillers and a hot water bottle where I will be staying for the foreseeable. Pain could be worse though tbh so that’s something!

The AIBU thread cracked me up- what is with some people and finding things to be offended about?!? Weird. This thread is brilliant.

@Katao not yet. I've got in my head to try until March and call then when hopefully the pandemic isn't so bad. I'm just the type of person that never goes to the GP 😂 I've never even met the doctor since I joined the surgery years ago - just seen the nurses for flu vaccines and smears. Because I have had 2 BFP (chemicals) I was hoping it would just happen and I could avoid it. I started tracking BBT so that I can check my temperatures and whether ovulation is happening before speaking to the GP too. I don't want them sending me off so I want to say "tried it" for everything haha. Have you spoke to your GP/had any tests?

@Billythecat so sorry af showed up!! But it sounds like you have it under control! Sending hugs!! Also you say pregnacare? I've started taking that this cycle, and nervous in case it disrupts my cycles x

@2020mission yes I see what you mean. It's encouraging that you have had bfps. Hopefully next one sticks and you don't need to head down the investigation route. Yes I've been referred to fertility clinic but my January appointment got deferred until march so nothing happening.

@Dollybird89 that sounds stressful with your Dad's carer. My parents are pretty stressful - but it's all their own doing...I think they think Covid won't get them (they live overseas so different rules for them that they're not great at following despite my dad having ongoing treatment for cancer...!)

@Catherinettc - your poor DS - I had tonsillitis as a kid/teenager a lot and it's nasty!!

@Billythecat boo to AF. You can still have baked Camembert if that's your thing. I'm allergic/intolerant to dairy so despite liking cheese a lot I don't eat it...like to live vicariously through others and have cheese chat though!

Oh and thanks @Haiyaa the OPKs you recommended came today so was straight on to them; they deffo work better than the other ones I have and I like their app!!

@Billythecat I was thinking maybe you could still have oven baked camembert? Ie if heated it should be fine right?
