We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We thought we might make it to Valentine’s Day ♥️💓 but oh no we talk too much! If you want to talk most things other than TTC we are the right bus, tv, (married at first sight what the hell?!), pets, annoying DHs, good food & exactly how many orgasms should we be having?

We’ve got a rowdy bus of newbies, oldies with history, excited ladies going forwards for IVF & pregnant mates we can’t get rid of...& February is gonna be BIG!

Good evening ladies!

Pregnancy anxiety has been kicking my ass the last week, oh had a bit of a wobble and I assuming obsessing over the pregnancy threads on here hasn't helped my anxiety. I've dipped in and out for a read but haven't actually managed to say anything because I just couldn't find the words 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ quick exchange with monster on IG was all I managed. Had my booking app today and my midwife is wonderful and put my mind at ease so much after what has been a pretty hellish week in my own head. She also happens to be a cousin of oh. Two scans coming up 🙌🏻 23rd feb and dating scan on 15th March. Still by no means calm about any of this but trying to be a bit more chill for my own sanity. After OHs wobble he is actually being a decent human again and I don't feel the need to plan his murder!! He's also been unusually amorous! Dtd twice yesterday, both times initiated by him 😱 not sure what's wrong with him!!
I did a proper catch up of the last 24hrs, hopefully haven't missed anything big!! Love to you all 💐💖

@DJmum83 I can see a line in first pic without the change of contrast (?). Would tend to agree with others on the false positive thing not really being a thing it's just that people don't know about chemicals, I didn't until joining this thread.

@Kirky658 also had my booking appointment today, an hour on the phone this morning then an hour in the clinic this afternoon for blood, urine and any questions I had. I'm being put straight onto aspirin, no history of pre-eclampsia but mw was quite worried by dds birth weight and thinks that should have been investigated further as she was only slightly over what would be diagnosed as iugr and when the weight of babies born to diabetics is factored in, dd was absolutely tiny. Shitting myself after googling iugr but nothing I can do for now so trying not to stress! I have a scan on 23rd at bang on 10 weeks and my dating scan on 15th March at 12+6.

@Minster2012 sorry but that's not a friend! I'll get OHs gun and sort her out if you give me an address 🤔 After everything you have been through this week, it's the least you deserve and I know you'd do the same for me 🥰

@HollieL567 major wobble over here too thanks to a lack of symptoms other than massive boobs and some serious weight gain 😳 no sickness and just the odd queasy feeling but not even daily.

@Sausage1990 spooky crossed messages there. I'm good after today's appointment but had been struggling a bit all week. Hypo awareness is nowhere near as sharp as it used to be but kind of expected that from the increased number of hypos and the super tight control over the last month xx

@gem176 ohhh that was spooky cross posting. You must have sensed me thinking about you and posted 😘 sorry you've had a rough week mentally but glad you're feeling better. Given my unexpected anxiety at the simple possibility of a pregnancy I can completely understand how youre head was all over the place this week. Sending a virtual hug xx

@hollieL567 was it you that had the book about pregnancy after loss? Would you say it's worth getting in the preconception part of the journey or is it specifically for when you're pregnant already?

@Sausage1990 older and wiser isn't always better as we are both finding out! Young, dumb, 22 year old, naive me didn't worry about anything but now having actually made a serious, conscious effort to get pregnant, realising it's not easy, being so much more aware of what can go wrong my head just went a bit doo lally this week. Managed to convince myself that I'd had a silent miscarriage because I dared to get excited and looked at prams and because I had a cigarette at new year after a few drinks. Crazy, totally crazy and so unlike me because I'm usually quite chilled. Been having quite sharp pain when coughing, sneezing, standing up or rolling over in bed (not every time, fine if I brace or move slowly) that goes away in a few seconds. Told the midwife and she explained that uterus is now double the size and everything is relaxing in prep for more growing so what I'm experiencing is normal. Slightly calmer tonight 🙌🏻
The diabetes team have been nothing but amazing! Almost as good as you 😘 It's was my dsn that got me my obs apps and dietician has got me libre 2 and if that doesn't help then we'll look at an omnipod.

I think it's normal to have worries when it's something we want so badly, even more so for you having had a loss 💐 xx

Oh @Franklydear sorry that af has shown up. Could it be that you had a bit of a bug and it’s messed with your cycle? Hopefully back to normal next cycle.

I have a question, how soon before ovulation do you all get your EWCM? Because I’ve had flashing smiley this morning and EWCM this evening. Did another CB and still flashing, so is O still a couple of days away or imminent? I’m going to have to jump on DH just in case I think...

@Gem176 nice to hear from you! Sorry you've been feeling so rubbish but glad your MW helped put you at ease and the diabetes team are taking good care of you! Look after yourself, all those extra worries aren't easy in pregnancy! ps when I got pregnant with my little girl I'd been hideous drinking and smoking the week before we had been TTC for a while and I decided to have a break... 😂

@Haiyaa I don't get EWCM for very long maybe the day of my positive and the day after! But I don't know if that's an individual thing! Xx

@Kirky658 yay for booking appointment 🥰 also jealous your appointments are booked so far in advance.

My midwife seems totally shite after the experience I've had so far. At 7 weeks I had my booking appointment and she said she'd organise the scan and send my notes to the hospital. Got there yesterday and they asked for my notes and I said Rachel said she was sending them over. They searched high and low and couldn't find them so rang her only for her to say she'd completely forgotten to post them. Its not like she didn't have a second chance to remember either as she rang me ay 9 weeks to check a few things! Still didn't hear anything back from either of the midwifes at my birth unit either in regards to the message I left on the answer phone about 2 weeks ago! Really thinking about asking to transfer to the other birth unit which is slightly closer which is easier for me to get to🤔probably won't get my 20 week scan appointment until like a week before 🥱

@Justanothercyster I got really upset the other day looking at pictures of when DS was little and even just 2019 and all the stuff we did etc and we literally can't go anywhere. I can't wait for a bit of sunshine so I can at least get out in the garden and do bits. Love being outside in the sun which is why lockdown 1.0 was nowhere near this bad😟

@Catherinettc im already excited for nesting as I really need to re paint the fence in our garden and it needs wire brushing to get the green off from the trees first then painting but waiting until spring to do that. Keep looking at it out the window likec come on hurry up 🤣

@HollieL567 im totally feeling the girl vibes for this one too! I was so desperate for a girl but now I don't mind either as if its a boy I get to use my boys name I've had for a few years which my best friend decided about 6 months ago she loves and she's going to start ttc this summer and I just know she'll use it if she gets the chance. I've told her if my next is a boy I'm still using it whether she's used it or not 😂

@lucyrp funnily enough the last time she called me I didn't have a high rating of her, but yesterday she was great and really thorough. She did have a student midwife with her tho she said so maybe that's why! Bloody hell yours does sound a dozy sod! If you can get moved over sounds like a better experience all round.

@Kirky658 I don't like the other midwife that's in this unit where I am at the moment either and I thjnk there is only the 2 of them or that I know of. The other one is the one who told me to have a pint I'm only young when I had my loss back in may... Rachel the one I've got now is lovely but she seems a bit dozy 🙄 the birth unit where I went for my scan is pretty much brand new too so really nice🥰

@Haiyaa I used to get mine 3-4 days before peak. I used to wait but ewcm is what the sperm needs to travel to where it needs to be where it can just wait for the egg, so definitely be DTD when you have it and don't wait. Im sure that helped me get my bfp

@Sausage1990 oh hun yes completely feel like I’m in the same boat with all those feelings. I even had a quick wee this morning because I didn’t want to POAS as I feel like I can have hope if I don’t know.

Well ladies as we know I have no willpower sorry @Minster2012 I never held out till Wednesday and today's was a BFN so yesterday's was a horrible evap. Bit gutted.
But it is what it is today's was stark white.
Onwards and upwards this TTC is an emotional rollercoaster.
My temp rose quite a bit on my chart today.
So definitely no more testing until the weekend when AF is due xx

@DJmum83 sorry to hear your test today was a BFN was it a different test with different sensitivity?

@Florence13 nope same test from same packet.
Frustrating but yesterday's had no colour at all so I did think it was an evap but it came up straight away.

@Franklydear I'm really sorry AF arrived it sounded so positive. I'm with you on shortening cycles too. I'm also 43 and cycles have gone from 28 to 26. Gonna see what happens this month if AF shows I've got some FSH sticks to pee on apparently if that's high I'll be perimenopausal, yay!

So I definitely think the pregnacare has messed with my cycles on CD19 today and don't even know if I've ovulated🤷🏽‍♀️ had a bit of ewcm the other day, and had ovulation pains on off since yesterday so presuming it's today or tomorrow? Either way that's so late😩

Thanks all, whoever said I might have a bug messing the cycle, I think you are right, I went to bed at 8 with my hot water bottle and slept through till the morning and still feel pretty rotten, I think I need to chill until af is past due for my own sanity, but in the mindset of this isn't going to happen

@sausage1990 It was me Hun yes!
I would say it's more probably aimed at being pregnant although there are segments which I think relate to preconception aswell, it gives sections of mum's who have been through loss and their stories and then managing stress and being anxious. And zoë's experience at the start of the book.
If you go on the Amazon website and type it in you can actually get loads of free pages of the book before you buy so it may be worth doing that! Xx

@DJmum83 nooo hun im sorry thats rubbish! Are you sure it's an evap and not a chemical? for the line to come up straight away seems unlikely to be an evap line becuase evap is usually with a dry test and the evaopration of the urine creates the line... ?? I know it doesnt change the outcome.

Argh I'm envious of all this snow. its very very cold here like -3 but not a snowflake in sight... although it is a beautful day with the sun shining :)

Anyone just had enough of lockdown now? All I want is 5 minutes to myself honestly 😩 everywhere I go in this house there are people! 🤦‍♀️🤣 I can't read anything or watch anything in peace and even the neighbours are driving me mad (7 kids running up and down the stairs screaming 🤦‍♀️)

Send help 🤣🤣 I think I may be a teeny bit hormonal today lol but could also be my fibromyalgia (noise can be overestimating for me at times) xx
