We’ve got the fastest TTC 🚌in the UK & we aren’t afraid of a modification or 2 as we have a bus with a beautiful panoramic roof seat where there is wine & snacks a plenty for those that need a bit of a breather from our race car but still hang on to our ride! 🌞

We thought we might make it to Valentine’s Day ♥️💓 but oh no we talk too much! If you want to talk most things other than TTC we are the right bus, tv, (married at first sight what the hell?!), pets, annoying DHs, good food & exactly how many orgasms should we be having?

We’ve got a rowdy bus of newbies, oldies with history, excited ladies going forwards for IVF & pregnant mates we can’t get rid of...& February is gonna be BIG!

@lucyrp @paintfairy I can completely get on board with this convo!! If it's late at night I let it marinade the vag, especially if it's close to ovulation, don't want any of those little rascals slipping out, and I usually wee before if I know we're gonna DTD (OH usually shows me horny signs before) 😂 so I rarely need a wee after, if it's not near ovulation I'll try and force a wee out afterwards, if we DTD early or in the morning I'll deffo have a shower, sometimes like you lucy I've had to go to work or somewhere and I've felt the leakage🤢 vile😂

@Katao the photo storage is from amazon. Just searched for 4" x 6" Photo Box Storage and you get get colourful ones and plain ones. Mine was about £25 so not super cheap and you probably could sort out something DIY but for ease & rainbow colours I was happy with that 🌈

I'm 5dpo and I've had such an achey back & twingy uterus but it's way too early for symptom spotting so definitely just post ovulation stuff. Definitely trying to ignore all things and failing haha... Its very reassuring to read your posts and know we are all in the same boat haha. I don't have any tests in except a few cheapies & I think 1 digital clear blue. I don't know if I want to buy any FRER... Who am I kidding I'm 100% putting some in my amazon basket after I've posted this 🙈😂

Also I'll he 12dpo on valentines day which is when I got my BFP last time so I'm aiming to hold of testing until tif af hasn't shown up by... I'm trying to be sensible & logically tell myself that catching on my 1st back after MC is highly unlikely when its still irregular and it took us 8-9 months last time, but you still hope don't you. 🤞🏻

And on reflection- the Bermuda triangle issue must be why ttc is impossible. The sperm might go in- but then where it goes after that, no one knows! I've no chance! 🤣

Ahhhhh DH & I have had the shower convo before ladies because he's a "shower in the morning" to wake him up person & im a shower in the evening to clean me off person (obviously if I exercise I shower after) which means I'm clean for sex he's not but I don't really think about that I'm like "ahhh get into bed nice & warm & clean" though neither of us really that keen on morning sex but I can't marinade cos I get infections...but when I thought we were TTC naturally I was consciously trying to leave any swimmers in for at least 5 mins but hey Ho lake spermo had already beaten me 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Bloody hell some ppl would be ALWAYS showering. If before & after sex??

But I think @Minster2012 has got it in showering together for anything remotely sexually. Regimented sex always reminds me of that scene from Kevin and Perry go Large when he imagines his mum and dad before they conceived him, then they both throw up after they DTD 🙈

Sex in the shower. Well, ours isn't big enough for that. Holiday it has happened. But all the slippiness washes away, so to me, that's an issue? 🤪

@Sausage1990 thank you. I'll have a search, love the rainbow colours. No reason you you can't catch first cycle back ttc I'm about the same, maybe a week into the tww. I didn't track but had ov pains around cd10/11 and that must be about a week ago now. I'm deliberately not opening any of my apps as I'm try yo keep my mind off it so font know what cd/dpo i ambut have valentine's in my head as roughly when af is due. I'll try mot ty o obsess until nearer the time 😂

@lucyrp I have honestly never done that. But then our shower is separate and I wouldn't be able to reach my brush from there. Also I never shower at teeth brushing time. I tend to shower at like 7pm.

Or should we shower and brush teeth all before sex later in one go?! 🤪

@Thinkingandblinking haha love marinating. After a couple of bouts of cystitis and a kidney infection requiring heavy duty antibiotics when TTC DS so I do a timed marinate and then go for a wee!

@Haiyaa me too re FW, I'm on natural cycles and it reckons Friday for ov day.

Clear Blue OPK has now moved on to static smiley but no movement on the cheapies yet!

Ahhh this is brilliant & why our threads move so fast 🤣 @paintfairy @lucyrp I don't brush my teeth in the shower but we specifically bought DS an electric tooth brush that's waterproof & if he joins DH in the shower before nursery then he brushes his teeth in the shower.

Now you can dissect that. Some ppl think sharing a bath/shower with your child is weird. DS doesn't have a shower/bath every day cos of his eczema (you can say he is vile that's fine I will live 🤣)

Scott mills on radio one did a poll on toothbrushing in the shower as weird or not weird. I wouldn't unless late but it encourages a child who loves a shower to brush his teeth. Meh. @paintfairy I can't reach my tooth brush from my shower either, nor can DS but he can still brush his teeth in the shower???

We do all sorts in the shower clearly. Except clean it.

@Minster2012 @paintfairy I can't reach my toothbrush either but normally plan ahead and grab it or just step out onto the bath mat and grab it from the cabinet then leap back in😂 I also do my face cleansing in the shower too sometimes instead of out 😂 also OH has a bath or shower with DS sometimes if they both need a wash and I can't be bothered filling the bath for DS after waiting for OH to finish in the shower 😂 I've also piled him in with me before but I get more of the poking of bits and laughing 🤣

I don't even shower every day tbh unless it's summer or I've been exercising 🙊. It really dries my skin out and aggravates my psoriasis - plus I don't feel like I'm automatically grubby just by existing for a day?

Girls I've got such a banging dinner on the go atm! Been slow cooking a pulled beef shawarma since noon, just made toum from scratch (that fluffy white garlic emulsion you get in turkish/middle eastern restaurants?) and currently making flatbread too. So excited!

hello, period here, of course.

We got our nhs ivf funding letter through yesterday though, and I have laparascopy in two weeks, so a month of not trying. We have male factor, and I have a polyp, but we've been told the mf makes us very very unlikely to conceive naturally, so I've decided to focus away from IVF/conception until we get our IVF dates. It's so hard but DP needs further tests and may need surgical extraction, so I need to get the idea of it happening naturally out of my head.

It sounds like things are a bit poo for all of us right now, so hugs to everyone. I'm going to try to run away until we get more clarity about ICSI dates and sperm and stuff. In some ways I think it's better to go into it blind (ie.not knowing too much about what can go wrong) so I don't terrify us both and end up whimpering all night while blaming DP for his diet coke addiction.

🤣 Loving the shower talk. @Juno231 I have horses and often get dirty, so I do every day. But maybe wouldn't otherwise. I'm not sure i did before I was with DH.
@lucyrp I do my face washing in the shower too! 😆

@Minster2012 we used to bath with our parents when we were little. More so my dad i think, as he tended to bath and mum was still running around doing things. I don't think it's weird. Obviously if I was 14, then clearly not. 🤣 But to a point?

I've got another shower discussion actually. We once had a conversation at work about it and I was shocked. It came about because one lady had a new ensuite fitted with a rainforest shower. There was some issue with it that involved the handheld part of it (you know how you can usually swap the water from the main top part to the little handheld one?).
Anyway- she was like- i dunno why they even come with that bit. I don't need it and no one ever uses it? 🤔
Personally I have a bog standard shower but I've stayed in hotels etc with a rainforest. She's got short hair so maybe she washes it every time she showers. But one issue i would have with a rainforest is that i don't wash my hair daily. So with mine I move it down the pole where it won't hit my hair. Or I can take it off and aim it.
But my main issue is- how the fu** do you wash your foof? 😳 Now she's a bit posh, so I couldn't say that. But I was trying to say- there are bits you can't reach though if you just had a shower that only comes from high above? (The rest of my team are men). And i just got blank looks.

Every single shower i have- i take it down and wash myself with it? 🤷‍♀️

@theotherfossilsister sorry about AF. Good news about the letter though! I think you might be right- obsessing over it and worrying maybe won't help. Not if you'll get stressed about it. I haven't looked it up all. I just don't want to know yet. Fingers crossed for you xx
