2 miscarriages, umpteen national lockdowns, at least a stone heavier 🙄 Let's do this 💪❤️

Hi Ladies - Happy Saturday. I'm in the TWW and it is dragging! I'm symptom spotting even though realistically I have zero symptoms and its only 4DPO. Being in lockdown I don't have enough to distract me from all this! OK little moan over ... At least the sun has come out!

@RAA852021 I'm 4dpo too and time is definitely dragging! I could be 3dpo not to sure how to work it out

Hi ladies - does anyone know if when you get the static smile does that count as your O day? Or the day after? Static smile on Friday morning and BD on Friday and Saturday... and had ovulation pains Sat Eve (yesterday). Would that be ok? We had a stressful week so no BD on flashing smiley days (but only started testing on Weds properly). BD on Tuesday.

Not sure I'm a fan of the OPKs - felt way more pressure to BD which didn't help at all. So worried we may have fluffed if this cycle.

@Wowthisisreal Once you get the static smiley on CB, ovulation can happen between 24-48 hours once you get the peak smiley I believe so I think you have it covered with the timing 🙂 xx

I have twinges and bleeding today (Light but brown) sorry if that's TMI). Its Day 18 of my 25 day cycle. and days 8/9 DPO I think. Could be AF or could be implantation bleeding but I feel absolutely normal otherwise.

It's the only time I've ever had the sniff of symptoms...but who knows Trying my best just to carry on and let things go as they will.. I just need to stay away from google!

@MiniBaker I hope DTD every other day is enough...genuinely don’t know how people manage it daily when you’re both working full time! I value sleep and relaxing too much 😂.

Do you have to travel far for the acupuncture or is it close to your house?

Yeah hoping he’s okay. He’s one of those annoying people that’s good at everything (unlike me) so I hope there are no problems his end.

I’ve been at school every day - no real change for me. The media annoy me reporting ‘schools are closed’ we’ve been extremely busy and I’ve had 18 or so out of 30 children in most days.

How’s work for you?

I think I ovulated yesterday so early start of the TWW. Have you finished AF yet? I had another super light period this month 😔 xx

Same we can’t maintain it every day! It gets a bit much after a few days in a row.

Yeah the acupuncture place is literally round the corner so it’s very convenient. My first appointment is on Thursday and I’m really excited 😬

I got carried away googling the other night and started looking in to IVF... genuinely thinking about going to a fertility specialist if this acupuncture doesn’t do the trick as I really would like to know what’s going on! I don’t want to wait another year for the NHS I need some answers.

Have you enjoyed having the normality still going in? Yeah the media make it seem like people are having all this time off but I’m sure it’s not that way at all!

I’ve been working for myself from home for a year now - I was actually just transitioning in to it from an office job when the pandemic started so I’m quite lucky that it’s worked out quite well for me.

Just on the dregs of AF today. Very light one for me too - literally had one heavy day and then barely needed anything the other days but it’s kind of dragged out over 4 days total.

No worries - I think we’re better off on here anyway 😳 if you know what I mean.. x

Just found out I have very low egg reserves. Natural pregnancy is looking highly unlikely. Gutted

@MiniBaker We’re exactly the same. We haven’t once managed a month where we DTD every other day throughout the whole cycle. Maybe that’s why we’ve not been successful!!

I feel entirely like you - all I want is some answers. I’m 29 next month and just feeling like time is running away from me! I know it sounds ridiculous and people are having children much later in life, but why oh why is it taking so long? 😔

Work is very full on at the moment with half of our year group off sick. That’s definitely adding to my stress too.

Glad you can work from home. I sometimes wish I had a job that allowed it but I don’t know how disciplined I’d be 😂 (easily distracted!).

So I’ve heard the weirdest month and this month (exactly the same as last month). Very light pink spotting CD 19 on and off for a couple of days. Then light brown spotting (mixed with CM) for a couple of days. Then pretty much a day of nothing and now full blown AF. I’ve never had this before last month. Any ideas?

I normally lightly spot for a day or so before AF shows up, but nothing like this. Feeling very cross at my body as I just don’t know what’s going on inside it! Argh! 😔

Trying to decide whether to take a test or wait. I'm 12 dpo. I've collected FMU and I have a FRER.

Really don't want to see a negative so feel I would rather wait for AF to come. But also know I will be sad when it does and I've got a feeling it will come on Mother's Day which will be tough.

I think because AF was a bit late last time it gave me false hope so I just don't want that again, but also not ready to give up hope this time.

Ah!! TTC is such a mind f* it's 12 days DPO and I'm on CD 29.

Hi @sunshineandshowers3 ahh yeah I can imagine working in a school at the moment means lots of pressure! I used to be a Teacher and left it because it was so stressful back then 😂 let alone now.

Your spotting sounds like maybe some small damage or small irritation when you got the pink spotting and then this turned to brown spotting as it became older blood and then your AF just started. I occasionally get this when we have sex in the TWW.

Acupuncture was great thank you! I actually think he sticks some needles in to chill me out as well, as I always feel floaty and relaxed after.

I purchase the clear blue digital ovulation kits this month, found them much easier to use that other OPKs so it told me Tuesday and Wednesday were high fertility and Yesterday and today are Peak - so we’ve had sex on every day so far and will do it today aswell. Maybe leave it one day and then do it again for luck 😂

Also following your advice, I’ve bought preseed and used that every time we’ve DTD in the fertile window. I’ve actually used the syringe too and found it worked well. Only one time I put a bit much on so it was a bit slippy 😂

Hope you’re AF isn’t too long and you can get moving on your next cycle 💕 On one of the other threads I follow another girl who is 29 very similar to us had been trying since May 2020 and just got her BFP so there is hope it can happen soon 🙏 xxx

@MiniBaker and @sunshineandshowers3 I’m 30 and have been ttc since March!
Started acupuncture 2 cycles ago and I have a homeopath who sends me lots of different herbs to try each month. I haven’t fallen pregnant yet (I had a chemical in June) but I definitely enjoy the therapeutic side of both of the appointments. This week my homeopath and I spoke about passion and how she thinks that’s the real answer to conceiving. I always thought we were quite passionate but I guess since TTC thinks have been a bit more regimented and we talk about sex a bit like it’s a planned thing. Anyway just wanted to share that with you two.
I’ve also noticed that my luteal phase is 11 days long in 25 day cycle! So I’ve CoQ10 which apparently is great for thickening the lining of the uterus to help implantation and I’ve also just bought progesterone cream to put on my skin from the day I ovulate until ugly AF arrives. First month trying these two new things which is exciting... but also crazy how much money and time I spend ttc!

AF is just finishing for me now so I’m going to start OPKs tomorrow as I feel like I’m ovulating very early.

Wonder if this is our month?!?!

Yes the clear blue ones are so easy! I’ve already bought some for this cycle. Wow lots of BD! Really really hope it does the trick for you 😊. Yes I use the syringe too and have no problems. How far in advance did you use it before DTD?

Also (and I can’t believe I’m asking this) do you skip foreplay when you’ve put it in? I worry if we do anything like fingering then it’s essentially all just coming out of me 🤷‍♀️. Gosh I’m glad we have MN as I don’t know how I’d ask anyone that in real life 😳😂.
