@HerringGull oh gawd, for me the only thing that pcos hasn’t affected is my weight, I’ve always been quite slim (but always been self conscious of my belly as it’s often bloated and I have small boobs which make it look more obvious... I suck in my belly all the time). I have facial hair, lots of body hair, acne and hair loss on my head which I manage pretty well with various treatments but it’s exhausting. The worst is the hair loss, I’m yet to find anything that works so I currently cover it up with a side parting and colour spray on my scalp. It’s an annoying routine but really helps my confidence.
@Gamechanger2019 really hope it was just implantation bleeding for you. If it was, you should get a faint positive on a test in a few days, keep us updated! 🤞
@Meg87 so sorry for your loss. For me, bleeding signalled the end of my first pregnancy. It started with brown discharge progressing to bright red blood over a few weeks. I only told the hospital when it went bright red, and then when I went in for a scan they said my baby had no heartbeat anymore and was the size of 6 weeks (even though I was 9 weeks). After that I waited a week to miscarry, can honestly say the physical pain was the worst I have ever felt in my life, I thought I was dying. Luckily I managed to catch the embryo (still in the sac) by fishing it out of the toilet and we buried it in the garden. I loved that baby and felt that something in my body had let it down. So I’ve tried everything in my power to improve my chances this time around. Eating healthily, taking natural folate instead of folic acid, and low dose aspirin. I really hope I can keep the next one 🤞 I did have another loss in November and although it was devastating, it was kind of just like a very heavy period so not anywhere near as traumatic, and we didn’t have long to get excited about the pregnancy.
Here’s hoping for third time lucky 🍀
I’m doing the weekly food shop tomorrow and will be buying a test, wonder how long I will be able to hold out before testing! My period is due on the 5th 😬😬😬
Anyone tested today?
