@Florence15 Ah right, she was prescribed it. So can't help there sorry. Worth going to your gp and asking.

Pancakes7 · 04/02/2021 17:43

@PrettyPinkPansies it's so hard isn't it, to stop testing. I'm certainly a POS addict 🙈

Strawberry08 · 04/02/2021 17:54

@PrettyPinkPansies fingers crossed! Levels aren’t usually detectable at 8/9 DPO and if they are it’s so so faint so keep hope. Also know it may not be the news you wanted but I think you’ve got as good a chance as any as it’s unlikely you’d have a good positive before now x

PrettyPinkPansies · 04/02/2021 18:13

@Strawberry08 thank you, I'll keep you updated tomorrow. How are you getting on?

RichmondLady1981 · 04/02/2021 18:28

@Florence15 I’m sure I remember the lovely @HappyVibes say something about clomid. I’m sure she’ll let you know. 💕

Strawberry08 · 04/02/2021 18:35

@PrettyPinkPansies I’m having the weirdest cycle. I’m 4/5DPO (I think) but got headaches, really sore boobs and feeling exhausted and down which I usually don’t get. It’s clearly way too early for pregnancy symtoms but having a super hormonal cycle I think!!

PrettyPinkPansies · 04/02/2021 18:56

@Strawberry08 you never know! Sounds good I think 🤞🏼. When are you planning on testing? X

Strawberry08 · 04/02/2021 19:09

@PrettyPinkPansies
I wanted to wait as close as possible to the day my period is due as I drive myself mad with looking at tests. But in reality I won’t be able to wait so I think if I manage to get to 10DPO I’ve done well so next Wednesday is my minimum goal x

PrettyPinkPansies · 04/02/2021 19:10

@Strawberry08 fingers crossed!! It would be amazing if we both got our BFPS this month ❤️

Strawberry08 · 04/02/2021 19:14

@PrettyPinkPansies wouldn’t it just!! Think we could do with some good luck 🥰

bez91 · 04/02/2021 19:57

Thanks @elsimo & @Strawberry08 good to know it's normal!

@ELMcg I get them but usually after ovulation since coming off the pill, never had the issue whilst on contraception but it fits with hormones being all over the place. Hope they wear off for you soon!

Gymbelle · 04/02/2021 19:59

@ELMcg I am having awful headaches too.

I miscarried 12 days ago and have already had a negative pregnancy test and positive ovulation test. All seems so quick. No EWCM though, I usually have quite a bit.

Good luck everyone, we will have some BFPs in the group ❤️

HappyVibes · 04/02/2021 20:02

@Pancakes7 @Florence15 hey ladies, yeah I took clomid without prescription out of my sheer desperation & lack of impatience. I fell pregnant the first round but had a chemical. I fell pregnant the second cycle, and currently nearly 8weeks pregnant. If you want to know more please feel free to DM me on here. My friend also took it and she fell pregnant first round with her now 3year old daughter.

Well remembered @RichmondLady1981 hope you’re well my lovely xxx

Florence15 · 04/02/2021 20:08

@HappyVibes thanks for messaging about this. Glad it worked for you! I’m so interested in hearing more. My OH and I have been considering trying it although we just don’t have time to wait to be refered. What are the reasons they suggest you take it alongside medical monitoring? Did you have any side effects ? Sorry I’d private message you but I’m not sure how to!! I’m 41 and I’m not sure I’m ovulating ever month and I know that clomid is what the clinics prescribe first anyway? Thanks, any input would be fab x

HappyVibes · 04/02/2021 20:13

@Florence15 I had no side effects thankfully. I did watch a few YouTube videos to check out possible side effects but I didn’t have any. I did my research re dosage etc too before hand. I just took it literally just before bed and think I slept through any side effects. They track it to see how your ovaries are stimulated by it. Some people can get hyper stimulation and if you do that’s when your chances are high of multiples, I think that’s another they reason they have oversight. I agreed I would do no more than three cycles on it, as I think they generally recommend 3 or 6 maximum (can’t remember which age group was 3 or 6 sorry). Xxx

Florence15 · 04/02/2021 20:16

@HappyVibes ok thanks! I’m going to research it for sure and see what we think. Can I ask where you bought it from? X

Pancakes7 · 04/02/2021 20:19

@HappyVibes Oh right, I didn't know you could take it without a prescription. Where did you get it? Was it through a pharmacy? Out of curiosity did you take it because you weren't ovulating?

HappyVibes · 04/02/2021 20:20

@Florence15 have a look into it lovely and if you want, give me a DM (top right of the page) if you want more info xxxx

HappyVibes · 04/02/2021 20:22

@Pancakes7 my friend got it for me from where she got hers from as I knew it worked. I took it because we had been trying after MC for what felt like a while, then I had an indication that I had PCOS, so gathered that the first port of call from medics would be clomid anyway, so I didn’t want to be waiting six months to get it when I gathered they’d prescribe me that anyway. If that makes sense xxxx

SLCxxx · 04/02/2021 20:31

Thank you @Pancakes7 and @Marvellouslymadmum, I’ll be looking into it’s all further.

@PrettyPinkPansies good luck with the test tomo 🤞🏻 I would have bought more tests too, lol

PrettyPinkPansies · 04/02/2021 20:33

Thank you @SLCxxx I am really hoping there's something to report xx

Pancakes7 · 05/02/2021 06:20

@PrettyPinkPansies I've decided to say I had my peak CD13&14 so ovulated CD15 which matches what my app estimated. I've stopped testing now. I'm hoping that as I didn't know I was ovulating I was more relaxed which might help 🤷🏼‍♀️🤞🏻

Let us know how your test is this morning 🤞🏻

ELMcg · 05/02/2021 07:04

@pancakes7 I'm now CD14 and no peak yet still high but on my 5th day of high (flashing smiley on CB) by my app I would ovulate tomorrow so I'm currently going by that as it would put me on my 28 day cycle so we will see! Going to DTD tonight and tomorrow and hope for the best! I think it was easier for me when I didn't track! 😂

dippyegg32 · 05/02/2021 07:06

Morning all. So we've dtd cd 9, 11 (twice), 12,13 (peak opk) and 14. Were exhausted! GrinHow do some couples do it this regularly just as standard?!

Pancakes7 · 05/02/2021 07:15

@ELMcg yeah I preferred not tracking and it worked previously as I've been pregnant 3 times (2 MMC's) but as it was taking longer I thought I'd try tracking. I'm not sure if it's helped or not 🤷🏼‍♀️ but at least I feel like I'm really trying. Also I figure if no luck and I eventually go to my GP at least I've already tracked as otherwise I think they'd suggest that and make me try longer.
