@PrettyPinkPansies Sorry to jump in with my own opinion but I only use FRER now 🤭 they're really easy to read and they're the most sensitive test you'll find at 6 units and I find I trust their result first time too cos as @Strawberry08 said they really don't give a hint of a line if it's not a positive 👍🏻 saves me wasting false hope 🤣

Thank for creating the new thread @PumpkinEverything. I’ve lost track of all the messages but did have a quick scan through and seen that you have your BFP! Congrats 😀 so so pleased for you!!

I’ve been absent from the thread for a while as DH and I aren’t getting on very well since the MMC in December.

It all came to a head on Sunday when I excitedly got my peak through clearblue opks. However he didn’t want to TTC and wanted to wait another month or two. I asked why and he then said that he was having doubts about having a second baby. He said that he feels as if one minute he wants to go ahead and the next he isn’t sure. Seems to be concerned about how we would cope with two (don’t understand this as both have good jobs, own our own home, have savings etc). He said he is more worried about lack of time to do anything and responsibility of two.

My head is spinning as this is a deal breaker for me. I’ve always wanted two kids. It’s even worse as I was pregnant with number 2. If I hadn’t have had the MC then we would have been on track to complete our family.

I’m not sure what to do now 😥

@bubblybrit thank you! I’m sorry to hear about your story. Is he maybe just panicking now that the time has come again and isn’t sure? Maybe just needs a little bit of space and time to think about it and doesn’t want to admit he’s scared it’ll happen again?

Awk @bez91 that’s so 💩 😔 that’s the last thing you needed. It’s really annoying you aren’t able to do anything about it now. I’m honestly amazed you even managed to get yourself through that. Will you have to do the whole thing again?

@PrettyPinkPansies I can see the shadow you’re talking about so 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 It’s pretty early to be seeing anything at all so hopefully that’s a good sign and you can see more tomorrow!

@PrettyPinkPansies No, so I had an mmc in May 2018, then had my son in May 2019. Then mmc July 2020 and been trying since then.

@bubblybrit sorry to hear that, can you take some time out together to chat it through? I can imagine it being really rough sat on those feelings. I assume your pregnancy when you had your miscarriage was wanted by him then and he's now seemingly backtracking?

@PumpkinEverything fortunately just that dissertation I need to re-do and I can just tweak it about so it's not all a lost cause just frustrating as I'd rather be concentrating on other things, can submit in May. How are you feeling? Has it sunk in yet?

@PumpkinEverything I hope so! I was being optimistic trying one at 7DPO but I just thought why not! I hope it's darker when I test later on this morning.

@bubblybrit aw bless you lovely, I can't imagine how upsetting that would be finding your peak and then OH saying they don't want to. Is it possible he is just having a off day? Has he always wanted more than one or?

Hello ladies, I am very new to this so I hope I am in the right thread (also not very used to forums).
Me and my future hubby are on the official 2nd month of ttc. Unofficially we stopped using protection since August last year (i was never on the pill).
Last month I had the weirdest AF which I thing was a mc. It came 3 days earlier (never happens) and there were very ugly "stuff" coming out...plus the pain...oh the pain was awful.
I am now 6dpo, have no symptoms beside being very bloated. The only thing unusual thing is a cold sore which i also got last month and went away in 3 days.

I am trying not to symptom spot but I never get them..

Good luck to everyone testing today.. and to all that still have to wait.

@oannic welcome! No advise on your unusual period I’m afraid but keep us updated when you do a test this month 😊

Girls, opinions please! The CB is clearer but the IC only mildly so, should it not be darker now??? Freaking out that it's going to be a chemical

@gizmo167 the CB is defo positive, strips aren’t always very effective. Maybe a quick pop to the shop for another brand for some reassurance? I really hope this is your sticky 🌈 bean 🤞🏻🤞🏻 Xx

@bubblybrit, I just read your message. I do understand your hubby. We are trying to conceive our 1st and sometimes I get insecure as well. I can imagine with a 2nd one it might get even harder. But i must say having a sibling is the best thing ever! (also planning on having 2)

@gizmo167 100% positive in my opinion! I never got a very dark line first time round despite the midwife saying my HCG came back super high! So try not to worry.

Day 3 of flashing smiley for me so convinced my peak will come Friday or Saturday. Going to DTD again tonight, currently on every second day but told hubby it will be everyday once I get to my peak, he's praying it falls on the weekend 😂

@bez91 that’s very frustrating that you can’t just forget about it. Hopefully it’s not too much work for you if it’s mostly tweaks 😊 I’m doing okay! Having the odd bit of anxiety and panic but trying very hard to keep it at bay!

@gizmo167 I think that’s a definite good line on the CB! Maybe check with a FRER for confirmation on another brand that’s not a cheapie if it helps you a bit?
