How many DPO do you all start testing from? Also who drinks during the TWW? X

Been so long since I was on here, recap had our mc last January, not even a hint of a bfn since, couple of longish cycles & a short one but on the whole been ok, I'm CD30 today, expected AF yesterday/ today had a bleed CD26 but only on wiping & nowt since, did a hpt, can anyone see a line?

@PrettyPinkPansies I got my BFP at 11 DPO last time. Holding off until either 14/15 DPO this time which will be tomorrow or Tuesday if no AF! (Apps have been at her arriving today, tomorrow or Tuesday) I had a drink at 4 DPO (which I didn’t even finish as I had bad chest pain that day and I just wasn’t enjoying it!) I’ve seen people say drink until it’s pink, and others say nothing at all. Others do a test to check its negative before they drink so I think it’s up to you!

@PumpkinEverything I bet you're so nervous!! Well done you, I really hope you get your BFP!! I went with a nine alcoholic one just incase but I'm only 5DPO x

Thanks @PrettyPinkPansies and @PumpkinEverything, I'm so nervous, still have AF like cramping and terrified its going to be the same story as a year ago!

I hope so too @PrettyPinkPansies it’s been difficult 😂 distracted myself the last few days but not in the mood to do much other than sit on the sofa as it’s cold and windy today. I’ve been tempted today but keep telling myself no, let’s do a morning test and not afternoon (even tho I got my BFP at 5pm last time 😂) fingers crossed the time goes quickly for you!

@gizmo167 it's still early and cramps can be normal!! I remember I had cramps during first trimester with my LB x

One day at a time @gizmo167 as hard as it is 😊 as far as I know cramping is normal as things start stretching so hopefully that’s all it is and it settles soon! I’m 13 DPO and have been getting a lot of weird cramping for days. It’s not painful, but I would describe it as strange 🤯

@PrettyPinkPansies I did a 9dpo and got nothing - then at 13dpo got a definite bfp - so if you can hold off I’d leave it later if you can! I gave myself unnecessary stress!

@Bellabubble thank you. I've got a clear blue ultra early and they say it can be used up to 6 days before a missed period

@PumpkinEverything yeah I stopped testing, I use CB digital so when your peak is detected you can't use the holder for 48 hours after, never mind we shall see 😄

@PrettyPinkPansies I don't drink during the TWW but it's just a bit of a habit I've gotten into. I've practically been teetotal since my BFP in August and thought I may as well carry it on 🙈 no reason not to though. I'm sure baby doesn't get nutrients direct from what mum is consuming until 4 weeks.

Flashing smiley for me today! @NatJ24 any sign for you yet? Still very early in my cycle for it but guess the body is still settling down.

Bit of a TMI question but do you start DTD when you start to get your surge? I'm guessing my peak could still be like 4 days away couldn't it? Or do we just start trying anyway as peak could technically be tomorrow?

Help! I have no idea about OPKs 😂

@ELMcg I think it’s recommended to do it every two days from high, but I use clear blue ovu so not sure what the right terminology is when you use the sticks? Then when peak try to do every day

Thanks @Gamechanger2019 I think a flashing smiley is high and then a static smiley is peak. Think we will just start from tonight, my husband is like, really on a Monday 😂.

It's totally in line with my app I use to track my cycles although that suggests my peak will be Saturday so will maybe start with every other day just now and then move on to everyday.

Cannot breatheeee 😳😳😳😳 I feel like I should have used another test as well but I have a call at 9 and didn’t have enough time and I was a bundle of emotions! Going to have to hold off until after and try to make myself go again and hope that it’s okay.

@ELMcg yay flashing smiley! I only used the CB ovulation tests the one month when I got pregnant, so I havent got alot of previous knowledge but I got 4 days of a flashing smiley and then on the 4th day I had a flashing in the morning and then tested again later on and it was static! So I'd definitely go to testing twice a day so you dont miss the peak 😃
I am still getting the blank circle but before the MC my ovulation was a little later in my cycle so it may be the same!
So exciting for you getting the flashing!
