Hey all, I was getting nervous as we are nearly at 1000 posts again! So here's thread nr 4! Please tag all who I have forgotten, sorry I haven't gone through the whole thing to pick up the names!

I know what you mean about getting excited about certain dates and stuff I have done that sooo many times but now I just think it causes more pressure and stress so I don't have any expectations but just feel it will happen when it's meant to. I have a friend just about to give birth and I actually got pregnant the same time as her so it's hard coz I think that could be me now but then it is what it is, also my younger sister is now pregnant she's not long had one and only tried for a few months, I'm over the moon for her but it's still tough.
I am currently back in the tww trying not to obsess 😬😄 all of my tests came back normal apart from the gynaecologist said she can see indications of adenomyosis but doesn't think that would be causing any problems, I googled it and it says it can cause increased risk of miscarriage but she never mentioned that so who knows, I guess if it happens again then I will demand further tests but for now she's said just keep trying and if I don't fall pregnant within 2 years they will refer me to a fertility clinic. Also when/if I do next get pregnant they are gonna scan from 5 weeks then every 2 weeks and if it all looks well give me progesterone and baby aspirin. So I feel better knowing that I'm not just left waiting.xxx

I'm a bit better, trying to focus on our new house and not to think on all the tragedy that we've been through. It might sound strange, bit sometimes i'd rather live in ignorance and not be feeling sorry for myself all the time.

I understand what you say... so many babies and pregnancies around me too (it's the age now).

At least you got some answers now, i believe you must be close to the two year mark right?? I do hope you are lucky and you do get a sticky bean.

I had some sad stuff happening this week too, my good friend at work died then my elderly cousin died 2 days later😢 what is life all about ay! I get what you mean living in ignorance is sometimes a lot easier!

Anyway How's things going with the new house?

Yes I'm happy to have some answers, I think we are over the 2 years mark now I think we casually started trying in 2018 but didn't get serious about it till 2019..feels so long ago.

Not long until the 7th..that's actually my OH birthday😄 I hope it comes round quick for you!

My af is late but bfn so far...will see what happens tomorrow.

I'm so sorry for your losses, what is happening lately? So many losses as if we haven't got enough already...

With the house we are getting there! Run out of cash so can't do anything else at the moment.. hahah how sad is this haha Bought a new couch that OMG can't wait to have it (another 9 weeks) and a built in dressing room.. so excited (also 11 weeks to go).

Spoke today to the new dr at the clinic and he is saying I will have to do a frozen transfer, so it would be egg collection in April and then transfer in June... it just gets long and long...

Hi @Sungirl11 oh my goodness you are so strong having so much to deal with :( - I still find myself always thinking of you all ladies and praying for your sticky beans, I'm now 10 weeks post partum and have cherished and appreciated every second, still have so many friends TTC it's such a hard year for everyone :(

Sungirl I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your mum. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time :( I am excited for your IVF journey, and what a wonderful gift from your mother! Sending lots of love.

I am currently 10DPO but not even certain I ovulated this month so don't have much hope. Just ordered some Clearblue ovulation sticks for next month to have a better idea. Crazy stage of the TWW is kicking my butt! x

So had a faint line on a frer. Then started spotting. This lasted near on 2 weeks never fully started af. Here we are now. Raaaah xx

Morning girls!!

Today in Spain it's mothers day (first year without my mom) and it's also my 33rd birthday. I just did my IVF cycle and i'm 7 days past transfer. We agreed with my husband to test today (our beta is Friday) we know anything can happen but it's such a special day 😍
And.... i'm still in shock
I didn't expect such a dark line. I do believe this is my mothers gift and i'm so happy right now.. best birthday ever.
I wanted to share with you as it's been a long time and it's my first ever positive test 😍

@blondiettc @dizzy85 thank you so so much! I can't stop looking at the test in disbelief! It's so unreal to see a BFP after two years of BFN not even squinters 🙈
Also i've seen sooo many failed IVFs and everyone says it takes 2/3 attempts most of the times etc... that i'm just over the moon!
Our blastocyst was top quality and due to my age and health condition we did have a good chance. But we never know.
Now it's important that it keeps growing and i don't loose it, as rates of MC are also high. Sooo stick bean stick! ❤️❤️

@sungirl11 I just told my partner your story and he got quite emotional! It' was meant to be! How amazing you got your second line on Mother's day ❤️ fingers crossed for a sticky bean for you!! Please keep us updated.

How cute your partner 😍 I believe it's a story I will always be able to tell my kid.
I had a similar story, my grandma (moms mom) died in Feb too 1988 and I was born on her exact birthday day in May naturally.
It's just those things that are meant to be 😍❤️

@Sungirl11 OMG I have missed so much. I am so very sorry about your mum, firstly. Can't imagine what you are going through xxx But such amazing news about your BFP! It was definitely meant to be! how are you feeling physically?
@dizzy85 @NicoleR14 how are we all? Hubby got back home from 5 months at sea last month, so we will be ttc again. Actually dreading having to start all over again, we've come full circcle since the MMC last year.

I am feeling ok, the only symptom that is buggering me is the tiredness! I go up the stairs and need to catch breath as I get very fatigued! And i'm lazy and tired haha
I do have a big progesterone supplement that is given to IVF pregnancies so could be a big cause of it (apart of the pregnancy itself).
I'm only 4+5 so early for strong symptoms yet, wishing I don't get any really haha

How are you? You must have missed your hubby so much! I couldn't live 5 months without him

@Sungirl11 aw I'm so excited for you,it was defo meant to be! Yeah I missed hubby loads. He's now decided to quit the merchant navy and got himself a job at the local uni so he will start that at the end of the month. I'm sure I'll wish he was back at sea soon 😂😂😂

@ArjaD awww how good! I'm glad he will be home from now. 5 months when you are young might be ok, but at certain ages it starts to get long.
He has done a great job though!

@Sungirl11 how are things going?how far along are you?

Random question for anyone who wants to answer...have you had your covid jab yet or will you have it whilst ttc?

@dizzy85 hey dizzy, ovulation predicted for the 30th or thereabouts. Beginning to have serious doubts about another one suddenly. Hubby changed jobs, took a serious paycut because he just wasn't happy being away from home for that long. Totally think he's done the right thing but it means I have to work more now or we can't make ends meet. No maternity pay when you're self employed. And both our mum's are too old to help out with care for a newborn. Really not sure what to do now

@dizzy85 hey!! I'm 6+1 today. I'm feeling ok, just the breast tenderness and tired but that is it. I have my scan next Tuesday. See what we find there!

I haven't had the covid vaccine because I had covid so that throws me away a few months, also I believe still young so not my turn. I might get it if offered but at second trimester... when my baby is safe. I will speak to the midwife before though see what they suggest as it's an IVF pregnancy. Xx

How are you feeling?

I'm ok, 8w today. Got my 12w scan booked but it has been booked wrong at 11w. I haven't received a call or anything from the midwives so they have based my pregnancy on my last period. Which is not correct as I started my IVF after. A bit unprofessional from them to get these things wrong for not even asking as I did mention it's and IVF pregnancy. But aw well!
I'm feeling really well and it's all going smooth.
We saw our little bean at 7w and is measuring perfect and saw the beat.
We are having the Harmony test at 10w too as it's been gifted from our clinic for their awful communication with me. So in three weeks we will have a bit more of idea if everything is good. Xx
