As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Juno231 I had no idea that UTIs could affect fertility! For a couple of years I seemed to be constantly getting UTIs, it was awful. Sorry to hear about the thrush! Not nice at all. I struggle with BV a lot as sex seems to trigger it. I've been worried that has been stopping me from getting pregnant so doc recommended regularly using balanceActiv which has helped a lot. @Cams50 what probiotic do you use? I've been looking into it but had no idea what probiotic to go for.

@ChinChilly I had a similar period last month. I was 2 days late and then I had the most awful heavy period. It only lasted 4-5 days though as was heavy for about 3 days of that

I took it as my body is starting to get back to normal.

I can feel AF coming this month which is really frustrating.

But I’m not overly surprised. I’ve been getting thrush and had it during ovulating which I know is not a good base for sperm to live in. It was triggered by antibiotics I was taking.

I’m off them now and taking some natural meds to realign my gut etc and will get ready to start over again next month.

@ChinChilly yeah I’d love for no spotting! Glad you’ve been getting on the chocolate.

@crabette that’s still a lot above your cover line so fingers crossed! And great about the longer lp. I’ve started b vits this month so praying for a longer lp and less spotting.

@Juno231 haha yeah the oral ones are great! No messy pessaries but they’re not always as effective and not advised while ttc which is a shame.

@Tillybabs sorry you feel AF is on its way but understandable with the thrush. Hopefully she stays away though x

Thought I'd post my temps and OPKs for some outside opinions as I'm actually driving myself mad! I've been expecting to ovulate for the past week or so. And nothing 😩 had some higher OPKs but nothing super interesting! My peak last time was between 89-127% so I don't think I've missed O yet?! Been trying to DTD every other day but missed one (arguing with OH!). I'll be 3 weeks post-MVA on Thursday. Thought temp started to drop the other day but it's back up around 36.3 again 😩

@Flowers222 sorry I forgot to say I use Healthspan 20 probiotics which someone recommended on an old thread about bv. I haven’t used them that long yet but so far so good! 🤞🏻

@LauraT94 aw sorry it must be frustrating when you just want your body to get back to normal. Hopefully you’ll ovulate soon x

@Cams50 My AF is due tomorrow and I usually get spotting a few days before, and I have zero now. So even if no BFP, I'm still taking a lot of positives from the B vits, fingers crossed you're the same!

@LauraT94 I know, what a 'mare I am 😂🙈 I think your chart is looking ok? It's frustrating you feel it's later than usual, but my temp rise this cycle wasn't til CD22, so still time for you, and with the CM you're logging it looks like it'll be soon? Keep OPK'ing and DTD! You might just be out of whack a bit post MVA? ❤️

@Cams50 I was worried about the spotting if it was effecting my LP.

@LauraT94 I’ve never used one, tbh they intimidate me 😂 I think it looks like you will ovulate soon

OMG just had a right mare, took my tampon out to change it before bed and I must of turned the period tap on, was fucking everywhere, and i mean EVERYWHERE....WTF

I'm starting to think my cd22 ovulation for the last 2 cycles were a fluke. Cd19 and still nothing on opks whereas they were getting darker by this point before and no EWCM so just feels like it's going to be a longer cycle. Just have to wait and see!

So temp wise last night I went to bed at 10pm, and temped as soon as I woke up, which was.... 1.30am 😂🙈 Broken sleep after that from bad weather upsetting the pets, and up early with OH due to work. Tried a converter, but 36.59 at 1.30am is 37.09 at 6am - which gives me a bit of COVID concern if that’s right! I was having a weird dream too when I woke up, not sure if that also affects BBT.

CD32 today, normal cycles are 31 days. Feeling a little crampy, but it’s mild and I’ve only really noticed because I’m looking for symptoms - which is much less than normal pre-AF (when I’ve got the hot water bottle and paracetamol out!)... but both again could be the B Vits!! Generally delighted I’m at 12dpo with no spotting or AF.

Can’t decide whether to test today, or try hold out and see if the witch appears. Think I’m going to try hold out, as I feel like she'll appear today.

Have confirmed O with three days temps here and now going to stop all kinds of tracking and just take a test on Valentine's Day if my period hasn't arrived. Other than that going to try forget about the entire thing for now. Trying compartmentalization this month in a bid for sanity 😂

Complete tangent here btw but it's my first month being in the TWW using FF and the pregnancy monitor which shows what your due date would be and diff milestones is a complete head wreck!! Talk about making you dream 🙈🙈

Can I ask - those of you who's cycle is a normalish length, when do you usually ovulate?

I'm a bit suspicious that mine wont fit within 30 days again! But have no experience with normal cycles or when OPKs should start to trend up!

@Flowers222 thank you, yes CM does seem to indicate something's happening! But my temp jumped right back up today! 36.47 on CD21. So either I've missed my ovulation and temp will keep rising or my body was just having an LH surge previously and won't ovulate for a while longer... I didn't ovulate until CD35 last cycle so possibly I've just got to wait a little longer! Sorry your ovulation is being slow too! X
