As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@MissC07 the month I got a positive was when we only dtd once at O-2. Sadly it was a chemical but you are definitely not out!

@Cams50 I swear I'll be rattling with all the tablets soon! I went pretty much cold turkey (for me!) last month with just folic acid, vit d and vit c...Bring on the cocktail of drugs this month after the nightmare last cycle! Did you stop bleeding today? I've had the tiniest bit so think it's finally over!

@Gracie2021 I know! I'm giving quite a few things a go this month to see if it helps! If the pineapple works for you this month we'll all be on that next! Haha!

Gah I feel like I've just realised why I might be struggling with TTC! Apparently UTIs can damage your fertility by causing scarring/tube blockages and I used to have chronic UTIs! I even had a urology investigation and cystoscopy for it in my early 20s.

Now I'm all the more keen to get that hycosy sorted to see if that's my problem!

@FlyingGiraffe haha I’m always rattling away! True anything is better than last cycle. Yeah I finally stopped bleeding today thank god! I feel like a new woman lol. Glad yours is finally over too.

@Moocher90 wow that is really good! They check so much for that price. And fair play on the GF and dairy free diet. I wish I had the will power

@Cams50 and @Juno231 I’m def considering private and for the tests you get it’s definitely worth the price. I’m going to give it two more cycles though. I won’t be waiting a year as every month that goes on I just wonder what is wrong with me....

@Moocher90 that is really good value! @Cams50 I think I will try and stick with the NHS as long as the waiting times aren’t ridiculous then I may consider selling a kidney to go private 😂

@Juno231 I used to get recurrent UTIs years ago it was actually a side effect of my contraceptive implant, they were so bad I used to piss blood!

AF kicked in properly this evening, the period rage and the cramps all kicked in, in one go! Delightful! Worst period pains I’ve ever had. Pretty heavy for me for CD1 and nowhere near as much pre warning spotting as normal, I actually would of missed it if I wasn’t inspecting the toilet roll everytime I went

@moocher90 @chinchilly sorry to hear AF has arrived for you both. Also im impressed by your dairy free/GF commitments... I genuinely wouldn't be doing this if I didn't think it would help with my inflammation. And I wouldn't care so much about that if it hadn't contributed to my anovulatory cycle (presumably) 😆 this diet sucks lol!

I am certainly up for going private but want to give it a couple more cycles first... im trying Soy and want to see if that helps my cycles, and if it helps me catch 🤞🤞

Interesting what you say @Juno231 about the scaring due to UTIs. I had loads of UTIs in the past too 😬😬😬

@chinchilly yes me too! Blood and bits.
@Kay00 yeah I even had a nurse during a pap smear ask me if I had a uti problem cause she could tell by the scarring on my urethra 😬. This was a few years after they stopped being chronic as well.

@juno231 hmmm... I have kidney atrophy which might be the result of recurrent UTIs 😬😬😬

@Kay00 gah let's hope it didn't give us PID and scarred our tubes 😅

@Juno231 @Kay00 bloody hell, I used to get one every month or so at one point, but I have wondered about PID before.

@Kay00 I’m just doing GF at the moment couldn’t do DF in one go, can’t deprive myself of everything good 😂

This AF is the worst one I’ve had post pill 😭

Well I was never able to BD with OH yesterday as I ended up having thrush! Worst one I've had in some time, I'm so uncomfortable 😬

@Juno231 I’m not sure but its so heavy and painful, I never normally bleed in the night but I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be good so I prepped for it incase I ruined our new matress and I soaked through a super tampon 😬 TMI sorry ladies.

Eurgh I hate thrush almost as bad as AF, hope it clears soon

@Moocher90 @ChinChilly yeah you get so much for that price! I haven’t seen as good a deal as that around my area but I’ll have a proper look. I know what you mean though about wondering if something is wrong. I may also have to sell a kidney and got private if it takes too long 😂
Sorry about AF ladies. Yours sounds really rough @Chinchilly but I sometimes I think that’s a good thing? Gets it over with quickly and not loads of spotting or maybe your cycles returning to normal since the pill?

@Juno231 wow I also never knew utis could give you PID. I’ve also had a few in the past - not as bad as yours by the sound of it but it does make me paranoid that my tubes are blocked or something. Sorry about the thrush. Sooo uncomfortable. I hate that you shouldn’t take the oral thrush tablet when ttc and have to take the pessaries which are not pleasant. Hope you feel better soon. I’ve started taking a probiotic (Add that to my cocktail of supplements!) because I’m paranoid about thrush and bv with all the sex and hormonal changes etc

Today's update... less hopeful about a BFP! But still no sign of AF, so pleased that the B Vits are hopefully doing their thing.

@ChinChilly I'm desperate for a full, hardcore, heavy AF - though I know as soon as I have one I'll be complaining 😂

@cams50 yeah although they do have to be recurrent and you're safe if it was just the odd one. Smart about the probiotics! I've only ever taken the pessary, not sure I realised the oral version existed lol!

@Cams50 yeah I was quite pleased about the lack of spotting, I got abit about 24 hours before but it’s been 3 days of spotting before AF finally arrived so that’s definitely an improvement.

@crabette hopefully that temp drop is just a blip! Yeah It’s wierd I’m quite pleased to see a heavyish period atleast I should have a nice fluffy lining for when my body finally decides it wants to get pregnant lol

@crabette so glad to hear the B-Vits are working their magic at least. You're certainly not out yet; 11 DPO and I assume still above your cover line

@ChinChilly sorry about such a heavy AF. No need to worry about the TMI we have all ruined a mattress at least once in our lives - haha! At least you can hit the milk chocolate to cheer yourself up

I'm going to have to have a read around PID. I don't really know anything about it, and it's interesting how it might be linked to UTIs.

@Kay00 I tend to ruin mattresses with fake tan 😂 OH made me buy a mattress protector! Definitely been hitting the milk chocolate 😂
