As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Juno231 really hope the call goes well. Must feel a weird mix of glad its happening and also a bit daunting?

@kay00 CD9 but I've got EWCM and high OPKs already so reckon I might ovulate around CD12/13 perhaps? If I do I can do the day 21 test next Friday already.

@TheDaydreamBelievers yeah it's a bit surreal to be honest. I never expected to be here still over a year later. I'm also worried that I'll come out of the meeting feeling very deflated as it's a bit of a nothing meeting, and if I'm unlucky I won't get any actual help with anything until the 2 year mark.

Kind hoping the hycosy might work its magic though?

@Juno231 exciting about the call. Good to get the process started. I have heard having a hycosy done can make you more fertile for awhile after. Hopefully you won't need it and will get your bfp, but if you do, hopefully it will make all the difference.

Glad you've got your call scheduled @Juno231!! Hope you get some progress.

I'm going to see how things go this cycle and then try to make a GP appointment if they'll see me. I've been off pill for 6 months - cycles are relatively regular date wise, though short LP - but hardly any AF still, basically just monthly spotting, so I'm not sure even catching a peak a bean would stick. Hard as I know it's not "essential" just now but I feel like even without TTC I should probably get this checked out medically? Assumed it was a post-pill symptom but it's not getting better at all 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Juno231 that’s good news about your appointment! And dodging being weighed infront of OH! I’ve lost a few pounds whilst having COVID the only good thing about it!

@Nellieee I just take wilko’s own high dose brand which I think its 1000mg I haven’t had any unwanted side effects and they worked pretty much straight away!

It’s my last full day of isolation tomorrow yay!! I’ve suddenly got this wierd thing for orange juice, I’m drinking so much of the stuff! The wierd thing is I never used to drink it much at all now I literally cannot get enough 🤔

Aw @TheDaydreamBelievers I'm sorry, I did know you'd sadly had a MMC, but didn't realise you had had such a long cycle. Hope it comes back nicely regulated for you.

@Emmgrem I'm so sorry - hadn't seen your message about your test today. Sorry to hear this (and for my earlier message having not seen your update!). I hope it comes back and is darker tomorrow.

@Juno231 hope the appointment goes well! Yeah I heard that the hycosy makes you more fertile too. That’s good your trust offer ivf. Mine doesn’t 😭 so I’ve been looking up loans!! And trying to save. But hopefully it doesn’t come to that. My GP rang me back today and agreed to do the bloods and SA. He said mark any bleeding as CD1 and to get the day 21 blood test done on day 21 regardless of when I think I’ve ovulated. This doesn’t seem right to me? I’m very grateful they’re going to the blood tests but feel like every doctor seems to say something different. Oh well just have to go with it I guess.

@Elsie2021 when are you testing?

@cams50 the NICE guidelines say to do it 7 days before AF. When I mentioned temping to my old gp she just oh well then you'll know best so just come in 7-9 days after you've ovulated. I'd ignore what he said and do what my gp said 🙊

@ChinChilly my mum ate oranges like her life depended on it when she was pregnant with me.

@crabette if it helps then I had my ultrasound done back in August when I still had really light AFs but my lining was still fine 🤷‍♀️. I've also seen quite a few ladies on the threads here in the past year with really light AFs still get their BFPs just fine so hopefully you have nothing to worry about.

@Juno231 that’s what I thought! Haha your GP sounds good alright. I suppose my only worry is that my lp is so short so maybe I should go then 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thanks @Juno231 - that actually is reassuring. I just feel with hardly any AF my lining must be non-existent, but good to know sometimes not the case!

@crabette I know - tbh it makes zero sense to me. Like if I have a good lining... Why does it not come out each month 😅. Does that mean I have OLD lining in there?! No wonder my embryos are refusing to bed down lol

@cams50 how long are your cycles normally? Could be that cd21 is spot on for you

My temp went back up this morning, my RHR isn’t really up to much but I suppose I’ve been sat on my backside for a week

My apps have unhelpful both reminded me this morning that I have "highly irregular" cycles... YES I KNOW

@Elsie2021 ahhh congratulations!! Had high hopes for you with your symptoms and no show af. I'm sure you won't be able to concentrate all day now 🤪🥳

My temp still hasn't gone up since my peak the other day 😞 So I'm guessing I didn't ovulate as my temps are too low (36.19)

So update from me after I had a squinter on 10DPO and it was gone on 11DPO. It's back again at 12dpo but no darker than before 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone got any ideas as to what's going on or what they would do in this situation? AF due on Thursday. Temps are still up above 37.

I'm so confused! Resigned myself to the fact I was out last night.

@Juno231 they range from 23 to 30 days so who knows! I’ve booked it for day 21 as it’s hard to get an appointment but I’ll see how the cycle goes.

@TheDaydreamBelievers and @Kay00 yep I get those too! Haha so unhelpful. They always tell me my temperature seems to fluctuate more than normal and my lp is short. I know!!

@Emmgrem I can see it! Maybe it’s still just early days? Still two days before AF? You could try with afternoon urine as someone said that can sometimes work better for frers didn’t they?
