As the Post Pill Party fills up, the lights are dimmed and the music drops a beat. The lead singer of this rambunctious band shouts: Mosh Pit!! The ravers all storm for the small space in front of the stage allowing their bodies to dance to the beat however the f* they want!! You go ladies!!

This is the 7th post pill party thread for women whose bodies aren’t quite dancing to the expected rhythm: we have delayed ovulation, crazy long follicular phases, crazy short follicular phases, light AFs, short luteal phases, long luteal phases, confusing temp charts and blindingly white OPKs!

@Emmgrem of course - this was 11dpo, around lunchtime. I couldn't see much colour pulling through and thought maybe an evap, although looking at it now it's clear as day - think I was in denial all weekend though.

I definitely saw your line!! Were both yours FMU?

@Juno231 happy belated bday. Great to be able to move forward even if it has to be over the phone.

I'm missing tons of updates now but have only been dipping in and out. CD 12 here and EWCM is on the go. My Easy@home BBT arrived so I'm two days into taking temps. Omg so effortless. Wish I'd invested a while back. We're both so busy and long days in work at the minute so aiming to DTD every second day for the next week abs fingers crossed after that. All the woo woo ongoing. Actually love the grapefruit in the morning so even if I notice no diff in CM I'll keep that on as a morning treat. Started with my mucinex (irish lemsip version) today too. Feel like a witch doctor here 😂😂🙈 anyway that's it from here. Hope everyone is well on this frosty Monday.

@MancMama39 haha that's funny you think you may have been in denial - that is certainly a very strong line!! Oooh what due date does this give you?

@LauraT94 I'm not sure how I feel about it tbh! I think overarching feeling is gratitude that it's still going ahead as so many have been getting theirs completely cancelled. My friend (the clueless one with the CB monitor...) got referred around the same time as me but has been told by her hospital that they won't even give her an appointment at this point in time because of covid. So I guess by the time they do they'll be a huge backlog as well?

The upside to a phone call is that they can't weigh me in front of OH - which I had been dreading!

I just refreshed and saw you think your line has disappeared @Emmgrem 😔 I just looked back and can definitely see one on yesterday’s test, is it completely gone?

This is why I’m holding off testing. I couldn’t bare the uncertainty 😂

@Emmgrem I'm really sorry the line has gone today. I thought there was very clearly a line yesterday.

I had my appointment with the endocrinologist today about my hormones and he thinks there is no reason why I can't get pregnant! That's a relief. Will need to go back in 6 months if I am not pregnant and he will look into it more. So glad I have a clear timeline now.

I think around 4th October, based on ov. Still feels very surreal. I just think I needed to see the words to believe it, as weird as that sounds. I've pulled lines off a lolly stick in the past by tweaking photos so didn't want to get my hopes up!

@Juno231 can't wait to hear about your appointment - do you have any idea what it will entail or need to prepare anything?

@Emmgrem do test again tomorrow, still not out yet, especially if testing at diff times/length of hold

@MancMama39 oh a sweet little october baby - great school year wise! From my research the appointment is very much just understanding our current situation. They basically go through all the tests we've done, check our lifestyle (e.g. alcohol, caffeine etc) and then talk you through next steps. From what I gather they redo most of the tests again and book you in for a hycosy. If all comes back clear I think we have to wait until the 2 year mark to start IVF. Not sure if IUI is even an option on the NHS? If not then we might give it a go privately whilst waiting for IVF.

@Flowers222 that's great news! I can't remember, what were your specific concerns?

@Emmgrem fingers crossed the line is back tomorrow and it was just some diluted wee/faulty test glitch this morning!

@Juno231 my prolactin levels were quite high. Then I had it retested and it had doubled in a month becoming really high! So my GP referred me. He went through all my symptoms (or lack of) and the fact I could show that I was ovulating through my charts he was confident it is not having an impact. I'm having an MRI next week just to make sure there is nothing going on with my pituitary gland but he said he thinks it will come back all normal and is nothing to worry about.

@Elsie2021 any updates with you? Saw that you were off your food... good signs!

I am onto cycle 3 now, CD1 here. Armed with EPO tablets this time. Any tips on dosage, anyone? Bit worried that I have read it can shorten your LP (mine is 12-13 days, so don't want it any shorter!).

@Nellieee - CD3 here so in AF. Very short space of time from ovulation to AF but sure itll get better. This also seems to be a v short AF. Maybe the surgery had rather cleaned it out 🤔🤔🤔

Thanks ladies 😘. It is very frustrating as there was a clear line yesterday. But nothing today in comparison as you can see. Yep, both using FMU. I've seen so many people with lighter lines than I had go on to get bfps so I had so much hope yesterday. Not sure what's going on tbh- I had horrendous low back pain at 8dpo too which I presumed was implantation as it's gone now and too early for AF

@MancMama39 Yours looks a lot darker! How come you tested in the afternoon instead of FMU? I've been reading that afternoon/evening is better with FRERs actually but maybe just wishful thinking!

@Nellieee 2000mg for me per day - never had a problem with it! Never seen anything to suggest it shortens the LP though either to be fair!

@Flowers222 ah yes. Fingers crossed for the MRI coming back clear then :)

@Nellieee I have no answer to that! Post pill I had 141 days for cycle 1, ovulated CD33 of cycle 2 and conceived, baby died at 10+5 discovered at a scan at 12 weeks, surgery at 13.5 weeks, 7 weeks later finally got a BFN and ovulated, 7 days after that ovuslyion AF appeared.

Unfortunately I have sincerely no estimate for a "normal" cycle! Just really hoping "post MMC" cycles are not at all like my post pill cycle! I'd settle for anything less than 40 days

@Juno231 that's great! Sounds like it being a telephone conversation won't make a big difference to the process, and it will be so good to chat a chat with an expert. Will your OH be party to the call?

I took my first Soy pill last night... so far so good but my nips have been tingling all day (TMI!!) lol! So something is happening (I hope)!

@Emmgrem I really hope your AF stays away and you get a BFP tomorrow. If you are having a CP then the positive is that you know you can get pregnant xx Although that might not make it any easier right now xx

@Emmgrem I had tested with an IC with FMU and thought I glimpsed a shadow but they were 25miu so tried the FRER at lunch - I read they can be darker in the afternoon as well. There's a chance I could be a day or so further on as well depending on when surge actually was.

I'm still not sure you're out!!

@TheDaydreamBelievers after I had an ERPC I found I had shorter cycles for the first 2 months after with 7/8 day LP and much lighter flow - I do believe you can be more fertile after as well. 3/4 months after things became very regular indeed. Got everything crossed for you X

@kay00 @MancMama39 I forgot - they ask all about what my cycles are like, my periods, how often we DTD etc as well. OH will be included on the call but I think since his SA came back fine there won't be much focus on him. Otherwise I know they ask the men a lot of questions too, down to how many units per week they drink, if they drink protein shakes etc.

If they need to redo my blood tests I'm already thinking I should hopefully be able to get my CD21 test done next week as well!
